I own the MG Hector Plus CVT and I can proudly say that i have made the wise decision between Hector, XUV700 and Safari. It's the best featured SUV at this price point with tremendous comfort and premiumness. I can agree on the engine power factor between Hector and XUV700 that Hector bit feels underpowered but thats ok. It has a linear pickup but it does serves the purpose after hitting 3k rpm. Apart from only this engine option, rest everything is best in Hector. Proud to own it. And Guys, good comparison and keep going. Thank you.
XUV have many quality issues which keeps popping up at different times but Hector is well designed, reliable and well tested car. Rest is buyers choice and mentality.

Hector platform needs massive upgrade, starting with an underpowered engine , Its laggy tech/infotainment and most importantly the Service ( Utterly disappointing) and the amount of fuel it guzzles is a grave concern - if it matters . Even though it is very cheap in pricing as compared to the bulky size and loadings I recommend Korean siblings Creta/Seltos in that budget.

But agar aapko kam budget mein zaada features chahiye and power kam bhi chalegi to mg hector is the best value for money... Features are laggy in mg hector no doubt, but you will get used to it in sometime... Xuv700 gives you far better power than mg or any other similar price cars...... Features are less in xuv by a large margin compared to hector

ARAI wali setting mein bhi 14 nahi deti...Just drove from Delhi to Hyderabad and barely got a mileage of 10 with an average speed of 70kmph. Nothing against it, still love its features... but Mileage mein toh Lamborghini se hi compare kar sakte ho.. city mein the day it gives mileage of 7+ is a very good day... Baki hathi paaloge toh usko khuraak toh deni padegi..😂
I HAVE BOTH THESE CARS. BOTH of THEM ARE DRIVEN BY MY Chauffers and I seat in rear seats. In Hector, Window glasses of rear seats do not roll down completely which makes me uncomfortable . Xuv700 window glass on the other hand rolls down completely. For cutting cost Hector does not provide even Basic items, not even INSTRUCTIONS MANUAL WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY FOR DRIVERS ETC.

@@robinjovarghese yes broo, i test drived the mg hector , i didnt feel the performance of the car and the features in the car is very lag eg the infortainment system is very lag when we use it we get response after a while and the blind monitor system everything is lag. The most iritating thing is that the indicator when we turn the steer the indicator will start to work so i canceled mg hector and go through xuv 700, and i got xuv within a month and it petrol automatic which more powerfull , only dissappoinment is the mileage.diesel is better when you are looking for mileage otherwise all are same in both petrol and diesel and you will get awd too in diesel . Mine is automatic and it is very easy too drive and fully fun enthusiastic car and very comfortable . You made a good choice broo , the car is beast go through on🔥

Hector road presence is on another level.. It's sophisticated, clean, and beautiful. I live in Dubai searching for a value for money car. I think I made up my mind now after listening to the maintenance cost of hector. I am already in love with hector.

MG hector ki automatic indicator thoda sa left ya right modane per bahut jaldi chalu ho jaati jiske Karan traffic mein piche Wale Ko samajh Nahi aata ki karna kya chahta hai. Mahindra every month post a mammoth sell no of their every SUVs, Then why I never found that no Of XUV 700 on our Road(Me From WB my daily workplace near NH-60) In whole day if I saw 2 XUV 700 then I saw more then 5-6 safari along with 6-8 Harrier , 4-5 Thar,6-8 Bolero Neo,7-9 XUV 500,10-12 Scorpio & N, 14-16 Crysta & Hy, 2-3 Carnes ,1-2 Alcazar ,18-20 Ertiga approx...(Avg day 8AM -6PM) which is just surprising for me....Also Kolkata's majority VIP or Normal parked section I saw less no of XUV 700 then any other previous mention..And if u say Family car in Kolkata I seen a lot Innova followed by Ertiga,Safari ,Alcazar and Scorpio order may be varies....

Steering turn indicator is totally useless. You have to give indicator before turning and not at the point of turning.

MG Hector is not great in mileage (10-12 only) however, quality wise it is far ahead. It does have the premium feel.

Bro Never consider me As a Tata FB or Any German She.... FB😂 (Or Japanese) but I just said what I see in real world and What I found in YT along with what was every months car selling spreadsheet claimed is just perfect? or this also a merketing bonza I don't have any idea. Now why I'm saying that.. Mahindra every month post a mammoth sell no of their every SUVs, Then why I never found that no Of XUV 700 on our Road(Me From WB my daily workplace near NH-60) In whole day if I saw 2 XUV 700 then I saw more then 5-6 safari along with 6-8 Harrier , 4-5 Thar,6-8 Bolero Neo,7-9 XUV 500,10-12 Scorpio & N, 14-16 Crysta & Hy, 2-3 Carnes ,1-2 Alcazar ,18-20 Ertiga approx...(Avg day 8AM -6PM) which is just surprising for me....Also Kolkata's majority VIP or Normal parked section I saw less no of XUV 700 then any other previous mention..And if u say Family car in Kolkata I seen a lot Innova followed by Ertiga,Safari ,Alcazar and Scorpio order may be varies....

its a Toothless beast. Choti gaddi ka engine fit kar diya Badi SUV mein, typical made in china mentality (look solid/nice outside but weak inside, koi bhi china ka product utha ke dekh lo diwali ki ladi se lekar J10 fighter aircraft tak.). Baki sab theek hai par petrol hector is too much underpowered and still same avg as XUV700, Avg same hai toh power kahan gayi, secretly china export kar rahi hai kya like Chinese mobiles ....lol
