- In this video, I try out the team that finished 7th at the end of the November Ranked season! It features a very bulky Regieleki with Light Clay and Reflect/Light Screens as well as a Rocky Helmet Dondozo, a Tatsugiri (that's used to bluff Dondozo+Tatsu), and a Swords Dance Dragon Tera Ursaluna!

@@@jerrysandoval2001 It's like an electric type magma storm, which is prob why it struggles on eleki since it's normally so frail
@@crayonstik9919 Oh I see, maybe with a follow me user to do some type of double protect, follow me and Eleki does something idk lol, protect again? Some weird stuff like that.
It is 80 base power 90 Accuracy Electric move that traps for 4-5 turns and does 1/8 target max hp per turn. The kind you can use Grip Claw or Binding Band with.
I think featuring a Roaring Moon balance team would be cool to see! That archetype has picked up in popularity!
As of the time of the DLC coming out, that strat won’t work with weezing anymore. It seems it was a bug that was causing protosynthesis to work in neutralising gas and they are patching it. But moon without weezing still goes hard
I have loved using Heatran recently, I know it’s been used a lot but running AV on it after so much testing with berry or leftovers was such a crazy difference.
love seeing any video with Regielecki no matter what set it's running lol. personally my favorite current pokemon is Basculegion. starting using it for the first time a few days ago and built an adaptability scarf set that is just SO fun

One of my favorites of Reg E was Urshifu Single tbh. I think it’s slept on by a lot of people that just autopilot Rapid. I love bulky Single.
I had a similar interaction with my wheezing when I burned a baxcalibur and after my wheezing fainted he was cured of it lol

The Dondozo spread is made wrong. With Adamant, you could shift EVs to have an extra 5-6 stat points in Attack or Sp. Def. The +10% from the nature is more beneficial when applied to Attack.
Yeah, could easily improve the spread that way
The screens really caught me off guard when I met this team on the online ladder. I was just expecting Electro Web or Explosion on turn 1😂

One way to make freezes more fair would be the ability to thaw out if you use a fire based move
Yeah some fire based moves do thaw you out but it really should be all fire based moves. They should also make fire types immune to being frozen or at least have a higher chance of breaking out of being frozen
I love that even if I pop in and out of playing ranked for a few months, I can always come back to your vids and have a good understanding of the current meta and your thought process of how to counter it! This is because you go so in depth with everything and make it easy to understand. So thank you!!

I have been fiddling with it in a Roaring Moon balance team around the middle of regulation E and was hoping to bring it to Taipei regionals, but sadly I didn't make it through the lottery selection for the event.
The good thing is with how the new regulation is shaping up with the new mons from DLC, it's looking to be pretty solid again!
i dont play a lot of competitive but enjoy watching it, so i dont really fit the QOTD very well but when im playing the dlc rn i enjoy clicking eruption on typhlosion, its the button that makes the seratonin go brrr
QOTD: I've been having a lot of fun with a Galarian Slowking - Cetitan core. Given that Slowking usually moves last, Chilly Reception becomes a really safe switch in to Cetitan for big damage in snow. Slowking can partner with a variety of pokemon turn 1 while it set up, and it can last a few turns if it needs to, especially with Regenerator. Cetitan has good coverage moves and 3 great abilities to build around too. Slush Rush is particularly fun
QOTD - I’m going to cheat a little bit as I’ve been mainly playing on showdown with mons coming back in Indigo Disk, but I’ve been really enjoying Entei. Inner focus is a super underrated ability and Entei abuses it really well. Band sets do absurd damage and sacred fire’s great burn chance means even resists aren’t safe.
As for current format, the last mon I was really having fun with was gholdengo. I had been trying forever to make the mon feel good on my teams but I just kept coming up short with it. I finally made a specs set I enjoyed during the early reg E meta and it completely changed my opinion of the mon.

I may reconsider getting scarlet and violet based on the DLC bundle being out and because all the starters are accounted for.(a Pattern I hope continues in the future at the bare minimum) and because Terra typing showed promise even If I don't get to play a lot of competitive. Speaking of, How do you prepare transfered pokemon for online battling? is it like the battle ready mark in Sword and Shield? Also what advice can you give as someone who waits for Pokemon home compatability to use pokemon and breed? I know I am gonna be at a disadvantage with meta knowledge given how late I am entering?
If you want to use Tatsugiri, giving it endure and a toxic orb may be good.

With trick room on the team, would curse work on dondozo instead of another move? But honestly its such a solid moveset on its own...
I feel like maybe u could swap out protect but thats always risky in doubles...

Hey community, please help me out! I just lost a game with this team since my Facade somehow missed ("The enemy Gallade avoided the attack!"). Can anyone explain to me how a 100% accuracy move could miss? No evasiveness increasing, nor accuracy decreasing moves were used.
I've looked through the items in my bag. Is it Bright Powder? Damn, this game is so difficult for starting players. This item is uninteractive, it's so frustrating to lose to it.
