Thanks a lot. My teacher doesnt apply anything to real world values and it makes everything seem a hundred times more complicated then it actually is. Ive been trying to figure out what the hell F of X means for days and now its crystal clear. Thanks again
IMO, as someone good at math, the most confusing thing about f(x) is that you are not talking about an individual object, but actually a relationship that exists for all possible values of X. that means that rather than one point, it is a set of an infinite number of points. If you can accept that and become familiar with that, then the rest is just notation and applying the rules of equations or expressions. Simple, once you are comfortable with it, but until that point, nothing sticks.
My online math class has no books and uses these videos to teach math for her. No zoom calls, no in class meetings, and if i email a questions then she answers it with a question a few hours later. I fucking hate our government's covid lockdowns.
If you come up with more practice of the intro to Fx functions please let me know .. Nice to work with someone taking you step by step. I am still a bit lost but it was so much better than some of the other videos I have watched. Ty
Clearest explanation of functions i could find on the internet. Thanks a lot. Subscribed.
