  • In part-6, Mike completes the airbrushing of all the subassemblies and begins building up the superstructure while adding railings, inclined ladders, guns and fittings.

    That's an awesome looking ship. I have the USS Texas I can't wait to get to.

    I build it (because no money without the superdetail kit) two months ago and I loved it. But I used the wooden deck and painted the dinghys in orange, because I like that detail from the old revell missouri model.
    Btw I was very suprised, that the missouri in 1:350 with the WWII design is not availabel as a new model, so I had to get this old one XD

    another good instalment. I think your build is looking great and you presentation style is very clear.may I ask have you painted the windows in black? if so you may want to try gunmetal, I find it gives a more realistic glazed look that is less harsh, but you may not agree.
