This very helping, Köszönöm Szépen.
I live in Hungary, have a Hungarian boyfriend and i like cooking Hungarian foods but i don't speak Magyar very well, a little bit difficult to find Hungarian recipe in Angolul 😅, very lucky finally got your channel. Nagyon useful for me, thankyou 😊
That's great!
Thank you for doing all of these! They are really helpful. My father was a '56er and we had many Hungarian friends in Cincinnati. I remember for St. Stephen's Day we would have a big gathering. The older women would come over to our house early and make Goulash in a pot over a fire in our back yard. And they would always cut the Nokedli into it! Your accent brings me back to those days. I could listen to you talk all day.
You are a blessing for me because I came from Hungary with my family and all they gone, I love our Hungarian taste and you keep helping me to learn more every day 🙏❣️
Igen, friss juhtúrós bryndzával vagy fehér káposztával 🤩😍😍😍😍❤️
Thank you for this my parents were Hungarian and i remember my grandmother making thdese.
Magdi valahányszor látom az ételeidet, ahogyan anyukámhoz hasonlóan főzöl, akkor az emlék és az íz a számban marad, és egyre éhesebb leszek, azonnal megjön az étvágy 😆😉😀🤩🤩❤️
Very nice video. Thank You
Thank you again to write to me and welcome me back. I left a bit because a couple of people were busy with my English and accents. I can not change now this is how I talk !
My site is a cooking site! I do not I have no problem with criticism when it’s about cooking! But when I get this kind off notes really hurts! I am happy if someone helps if I left out something from the recipe.
I try make everything easy to inspire you to cook and bake!
Thanks for liking my site and for the subscribe! I will come up with new dish soon!
Keep on cooking and baking with me. Thanks Magdi
I fell in love with my Hungarian husband, partly because of his lovely accent. One funny thing he used to say was, "I begga your pardon me!" So cute!
GourmetHungarian you should hear how the Hungarians make fun of my American accent when I speak Magyar on trips to Hungary
I don’t think I would watch if you had no accent!
I LOVE your accent! I totally understand you. Granted, you sound like my great grandmother ;)
really interesting, will give it a go. many thanks.
Fantastic cooking
THANKS
Thank you too
Thank you for this! My Dad is Hungarian & he always made this for us, unfortunately we lost him last year to lung cancer. This was my favourite dish he made it with paprika chicken!!! I prefer the old way of doing it! Much LOVE TO YOU🙏🏻🥰 new sub!!
Thank you for your video...we just bought a home from a woman from Hungary and she was telling me about this dish, and so I had to find a recipe! Your video was very clear!
Thank you so much for this. I am a third generation american with 3 of my 4 grandparents having come from Hungary. I really enjoy your video's as they allow me to cook for my children the meals I remember eating at my grandma's and great grandma's homes.
That's just like my mother used to make it. I bought one of those sliders with the holes in it. I'm too lazy to make the nokedli like my mother made it. Thank you for posting your video.
My mother taught me to use a cutting board and knife. Many years later I bought nokeli maker on a trip to Hungary. I prefer the cutting board method. Important to stir the cooking nokeli so they do not stick to bottom of pot. I too prefer the larger hand made ones !
Great tips . Definitely making this way
Please do!
Thank you for putting this up, I always wanted to learn this. Nothing better than fresh noodles.
This is awesome !!i made it, and topped with sage, a bit of rosemary, parsly, and basil. I cooked the drag herbs a bit with olive oil. Delicious !!!
Sooo good! I prefer the larger more rustic handmade noodles. I like a noodle that is a good bite, especially when it's in a paprikas sauce. The smaller noodles are great lighty fried in browned butter and a dollop of sour cream on top, a fantastic side dish!
Szeretem, ahogy csinálja a nokedlit!
I love your video! It is so clear and simple. Ever since I visited Hungary I wondered what noodle was served with my pörkölt, and now I know! Will try this today :) How long can you store the Nokedli after boiling it?
Glad you enjoyed it!
Longer than you would run out of it! 2-3 days for sure.
Beautiful job !!! Thank you for showing the 2 methods !!! You are awesome !!!
I am enjoying your channel so much! You make my Momma Alive to me!!!
Love it! I make just like you! I have the old nokedli maker! But I like to use knife to scratch it in pot.Thank you! Your daughter and granddaughter have a treasure!
Just like my grandma's!! I'm half Hawaiian half Hungarian any chance you come to Hawaii and open a Hungarian restaurant????please
I am glad you like my channel! Thanks
Thank you for the new technique, I use the knife. Never thought of a spoon. I like it all by itself.

I have a metal nokedli maker. But I saw on Amazon someone who purchased the same maker and drilled larger holes to make it more authentic for him. Now, I have to rent a drill!
Hello Magdi, Can you please tell me how to keep this nokedli fresh for one or two days? Thanks! Zsuzsi
Susan Grunbaum : make sure you mix it with a little oil or butter, than cover2 days is fine in the fridge.
@@GourmetHungarian Thank you Ma'am, I wanted to know this too even though this question was posted 2 years ago 🙂
Jesu Maria!! Just like my gramma used to make!!!
I love the Nokedli maker tool. Where did you get? I'd love to get one.

A víznek forrnia kell amikor szaggatod máskép összefolyik a tészta. De így is jó
Flower is virag, in Hungarian. Flour is the thing you use for cooking.
Oh thanks!
Where can I buy the white noodle cutting machine?\
I found a stainless steel version on Amazon under "spaetzle maker".
Are you still have it with with egg. Beat the egg with a pinch of salt and mix it in with the nokedli.
