Thank you for doing all of these! They are really helpful. My father was a '56er and we had many Hungarian friends in Cincinnati. I remember for St. Stephen's Day we would have a big gathering. The older women would come over to our house early and make Goulash in a pot over a fire in our back yard. And they would always cut the Nokedli into it! Your accent brings me back to those days. I could listen to you talk all day.

Magdi valahányszor látom az ételeidet, ahogyan anyukámhoz hasonlóan főzöl, akkor az emlék és az íz a számban marad, és egyre éhesebb leszek, azonnal megjön az étvágy 😆😉😀🤩🤩❤️

I fell in love with my Hungarian husband, partly because of his lovely accent. One funny thing he used to say was, "I begga your pardon me!" So cute!

That's just like my mother used to make it. I bought one of those sliders with the holes in it. I'm too lazy to make the nokedli like my mother made it. Thank you for posting your video.

My mother taught me to use a cutting board and knife. Many years later I bought nokeli maker on a trip to Hungary. I prefer the cutting board method. Important to stir the cooking nokeli so they do not stick to bottom of pot. I too prefer the larger hand made ones !

Sooo good! I prefer the larger more rustic handmade noodles. I like a noodle that is a good bite, especially when it's in a paprikas sauce. The smaller noodles are great lighty fried in browned butter and a dollop of sour cream on top, a fantastic side dish!

Are you still have it with with egg. Beat the egg with a pinch of salt and mix it in with the nokedli.
