Great to see a state police involved. In some Australian states police helicopters assist with aeromedical transport. Most states though have helicopters owned by the ambulance services, and fixed wing aircraft for areas beyond the range of helicopters. Great job by all and I wish all injured a speedy and full recovery.
The fire fighter that was sitting on his ass & "coughing" the whole time that the fire was burning with his excuse was that he had swallowed some installation was obviously full of a lot of laziness but he wasn't the only firefighter who had appeared to be "not in the mood" to put that fire out.
I don't like to armchair fire from watching a video but I think this fire probably got out of hand and the amount of manpower just simply wasn't adequate You could tell firefighters are either super out of shape or they were simply spent with no fuel in the tank? The only thing I questioned was them landing a helicopter this close to a structure fire that still had active burning occurring. In other words fanning the flames. Otherwise, all I know is there were a few of firefighters that i would have been concerned about! I would have gotten their gear doffed and to rehab!

I too could not believe that this fire could not have been knocked down in a matter of minutes upon arrival. I truly hope this is a volunteer department and not a paid department. Seriously need a change of command and more training as well as motivation.
I agree, they were very lazy and not motivated, seem like they didn't care. I am an ex firefighter in texas, and I was with just a volunteer department, but we always did our best.

Is it just me or most of the comments just saying “well if was there” when they have 0 zero firefighting experience
Somebody needs to run to run to Walmart real quick and buy them a roll of Flex Seal tape for that hose.........

Hopefully that person will be okay. And the firefighters. You all are heroes.
This is a lazy department. The fire could’ve been knocked within 10-20 minutes of arrival if they had some motivation. Ridiculous
I have never seen a fire department in my life fighting a fire like this this is ridiculous

The officer that came out coughed and sat down said "Gettin' Fat And Old Buddy!"🤣🤣

MSP doing what they do best. Finest Air Med on the east coast.
I have sucked insulation down my windpipe before it takes a while to get it cleared up!!!
How can you swallow a piece of insulation while on air? 😳🙄
Ok funny you say…. When he took his mask off a piece feel off and he took in a deep breath. Just bad timing really.

I think some serious training is needed. Volunteer or paid, doesn't matter. No training evident on this job. Officers also need some ICS training.

These firefighters in the back yard you could tell they were already spent!
She just up and left her partner who was having difficulty. Seriously?
I was right there. He said he was ok. She definitively asked him. If you listen very closely you can here it in the video.
So where was this fire? Stations that responded?
Where was the Safety Officer?
Is this a training exercise???
Not an exercise.
Wow, a white hat with a hose? Must be volunteers. This is a video of how not to fight a fire.
While he was inside the house fighting the fire, one of his firefighters was on the ground fighting to breath and getting no medical attention.
Bro hating on people where were you at?
Unlike from where you’re at white helmets around here like to go in and do work
