  • Rural House Fire and Water Supply Operations. House was 1/2 Mile back a narrow one lane dirt road. Drafting engine at the folding tanks was having issues with the draft. Once the engine was switched out water supply was restored. Unfortunately the entire basement was fully involved prior to the first engine arriving so spite the water supply issues it would have been a difficult save.

    Don't understand why windows are being broken out and feeding oxygen to the fire when not enough water is being applied or yet available.

    Why were those 2 guys that far in the basement to begin with, that they were trying to escape out windows instead of the door. Always think of how you can get out before you commit to going in and is it worth the risk.

    Is this a training burn? Or is it water issues!

      Water supply issue. 2,500’ lay in and my understanding is the draft engine was having issues.

    15 seconds of water, then let it burn itself out?

    • @emtb3839
      @emtb3839  Год назад +4

      The fire was down a 1/2 mile one lane dirt road and clearly some water supply issues. But I’m sure the intentions of the volunteers were not to let it burn after 15 seconds of water.

      @@emtb3839 If you don't have a plan for every contingency, why bother showing up?

    0:25 USA Lawn Statues. I know it's a Still photo but that would make appropriate.
    0:44 Why is it in USA firefighting, that you almost never see a water application when you see plenty of equipment, manpower and lines? Tank water can flow in 30 seconds.
    1:00 Plenty of Lawn Statues!
    2:40 No water but they think breaking windows to help the fire burn better is a good idea.
    4:00 As useful to put out fires as moths to flames.
    On Training Days, what do they actually train for? To see who can stand the stillest to look like the best Lawn Statue? This is not the exception. This is typical USA fireplaying. Oh and, I don't care what the excuses are.

      Troll troll troll! Hey I got a fabulous idea! Find a better use for your time or just quit watching these videos what's so hard about keeping your mouth shut? Is you life so meaningless and boring that all you can do to fill the obvious void in your existence is attempt to tell everyone what Evey fire department in the country is doing wrong according to what you think. Every time you think YOU weaken the nation

    Im surprised this FD has never had anyone killed. I seen multiple times firefighters in collapse zones with a white helmet just standing there watching them. Is anyone in charge of the Safety of the firefighters on scene ??? Plus the fact No one seem to be fighting the fire, water supply problems??? These Guys need to be retrained by a confident and qualified instructor.
