Useful if you need to change brake disc or wheel speed sensor. Wheel speed sensor is a bit of pain if its stuck like mine.

These videos whilst you can see the basic steps does nothing for the car industry or the safety of the general public. This is the sort of job some cowboy fast fit operation would do in 15min. The real job requires a good clean, new copper washers, examination of the brake hose, a proper re-bleed and using hand tools including a torque wrench, before a good wash down with brake cleaner. This sort of video causes customers to call garages robbers for quoting the proper book time for this which is probably 45min a side to do it with any finesse.

Thank you for your feedback! You are absolutely right - our video are just informative about the replacement sequence, rather than tutorial. To save time, some steps were omitted. Best regards, Autodoc.

Easier to slide the outside pad in instead of pressing it. :)

I don't approve of the brake fluid being left to drain out of the system.
    A tip!
Reservoir top off, a strong plastic bag placed over the filler neck, slightly pushed down into the reservoir. Put a strong elastic band over the filler neck to secure the plastic bag, then pull on the bag to pull it up out of the reservoir to create a vacuum that will impede the brake fluid draining off when the pipe is removed.
If for any reason the caliper will be removed for some time, a plastic bag over the end pipe, secure with an elastic band, will minimize loss of fluid.
By the way, replace the dowty seals the pipe connector.

It's a gravity bleed... but pumping the brakes is a must to rid the system of air... none of that was performed

A good tip there. Thanks. Another way is to slightly open the old bleeder valve, then press the brake padel to the floor and place a stick on te pedal against the seat to keep it depressed. This will prevent brake fuid to flow from the reservoar.
When bleeding the ststem after caliper replacement, connect a transparent hose, submerged in a small bottle with brake fuid. This will prevent any air from entering the system.
Also it's advised to replace the two seals at the inlet, and consider to add some lubricant to the slide pins.

This video is not "how to change brake caliper" it is how NOT to change brake caliper, and what a mess with brake fluid, just dripping to the floor.. if somebody follows this video, and thinks everything is great, and not bleeding the breaks the right way, can cause accidents on the road, cause of a bad "informative" video from autodoc.. the only way I see this video "informative" is how not to do it...

Please DO NOT do what the clown is this video is doing. You HAVE TO replace both banjo crush washers, they are one time use only, and MUST be replaced once undone. This kid is going to have leaking calipers all over the place..
