    Excellent. Simple and to the point. I like that you didn't spray brake clean once on anything. No harm was done to the ozone in the making of this video. Certifed organic.

      The cap on the brake fluid reservoir needs to be closed tight afterward to keep moisture from the air from getting into the system.

    Bmac working them brakes like a nice slab of ribs lol. Slather it up baby. And uh oh, freshening up on brakes must mean that 7 year sitter is driving again lol. Hopefully be driving it daily come Monday. Got lucky with the head gasket sealer working on the 2nd application that sure up the leaks. Rad fan working with AC on so was able to get it up and idle as long as the AC is on. That fan controller just came in today which should be last piece of the puzzle.
    First proper shakedown drive instantly reminded me of why i love that ride so much. So light with the turbo just gives it the get up and go a lot of hatches these days are lacking. Had a 2012 Veloster for a year and loved the creature comforts but damn was it anything but quick. That got slammed into by an uninsured driver not too long ago, but guess i cant be too mad about it. That made me finally stop putting off just picking up a f'n wrench... Preciate the vids as always mane.
    Remember: "It ain't that I'm too big to listen to the rumors, It's just that I'm too damn big to pay attention to 'em, That's the difference"
    Leave the "Tea" for the ladies gents.

    Great video, very well put together. A great informative and useful, clear and helpful video. Just a helping hand: you said in the video when you took a plug out (3:40) that it was a sensor til check if the brakes are worn. It ws in fact the ABS sensor, and the sensor mounted on the brake pad itself, is the brakes wear sensor (after market parts dont often have this sensor) Take care when working with ABS related parts, they are pricey parts to replace :-) thanks for the helpful video

    Very good video. I think you could have said to make sure the handbrake's on tight at the beginning, and also to put the brake fluid reservoir cap back on at the end. Axle/jack stands would be good practice, but you can get by without them if you're careful.

    • @eh_-og2mc
      @eh_-og2mc 2 года назад

      Good point on the stands and hand brake. Also, the brake fluid reservoir cap should always be closed tightly after any servicing or addition of fluid -- to keep moisture out of the brake fluid.

    • @jonaqueue

      I have researched, and it seems I need to grease the caliper guide pins. I also have a missing pin on one of my front calipers. I assume the disproportionate pressure is causing the squealing?

      Sounds like you probably have some air bubbles in the brake lines- best bet is to try bleeding the brakes (and top off the brake fluid reservoir as needed afterwards) and that should take care of the issue!
