I wouldn’t get the Peak Design case unless you also want to use one of their proprietary mounts for bikes, motorcycles, etc. due to cost. However, those mounts are amazing, and there’s a good chance you do want to use them if you engage in those activities. Peak Design also makes a bunch of MagSafe compatible accessories that don’t require the proprietary mounting system on their cases, so it’s worth taking a look at all their offerings with that in mind. I’ve never found a Peak Design product I don’t like.
@ it’s a great case. I’m sure you’ll be happy with it. Some versions have the option to add a loop to the back, which is a very nice add-on. It doesn’t add any bulk at all.
He's mentioned in another video he built a small app that captures output of the phone's motion sensors during drops so prob draws his conclusions from those measurements
I have 2 phones with Peak design phone cases as I believe in it. Also, since I ride the bike, I've switched from the Quadlock to this one. Just like the Apple ecosystem, Peak design is also an ecosystem. Quite expensive but really serves me and my lifestyle. Protection and magnetic power are the two great traits of this case. This is my best case yet and I am finicky about... well, everything. You get what you pay for indeed. Quality is expensive. BTW, it has a lifetime warranty so there really is no loss. Try them!
Peak is really good with warranty, I believe it’s lifetime. I ordered their case from Amazon and the fabric wasn’t aligned quite right, so I reached out to Peak and they sent me another one, free of charge, and very fast at that too. Their stand wallet is amazing too. Also has tons of colors. I’ve been using it for two years now and I love it. It holds up great and I get plenty of compliments.
I had opposite experiences, I used to own their camera mounts and strap system. Their customer service was not good at all, but it was like decade ago, don’t know if they had improved. But I am not buying their product anymore.
I've had two generations of Peak cases and got them just because I liked how these cases felt and they're great at protecting my phones from drops. I don't own any of Peak's mounting systems. My only gripe is that I wished there was more color choices for these cases.
I had some Peak Design cases a few phone generations ago. At the time you couldn’t use many screen protectors with due to how close those inside edges were. Peak even had a section for approved screen protectors. Is this the same with the current Peak cases?
Can you please test and review the "TORRAS Magnetic Slim Fit for iPhone 16 Pro" case? I have tried about 10 cases in the past month (all with my own money) and this was is not only cheap, and thin, but I think it is the best of everything I tried. For what it's worth, the Black one feels even thinner than the colored ones. The magnet is super strong, the case fits snug and solid around the phone and it gives surprisingly good protection even though it is so thin. Also the Camera Control cutout feels seamless and natural, I prefer it even more than the official Apple case with the button. I am convinced it is the best case for the iPhone 16 Pro.
This is one of the first cases I tried for my 16 Pro, it's definitely a great slim case but it had a few small issues that totaled up to me returning it. My main issue was the size of the camera protection ring, the fact that it can flip out as a stand is v clever but the added bulk on the already-large camera bump made it so a lot of my Magsafe mounts, wallets, etc wouldn't sit flush which is a dealbreaker for me since I use those very regularly. The matte finish of the case (I had the navy blue version), while grippy, also held on to a lot of fingerprints and skin oils which I didn't really like. Those are pretty small and specific things though, so if you can get over those it's probably one of the best options out these for slim cases at a low price point. Fwiw I ended up switching to Pitaka's thin aramid case and I've been really happy with that.
@@goinginzane you are referring to a different case "TORRAS Magnetic Slim Fit for iPhone 16 Pro Case with Stand". The one that I have does NOT have a flip out camera protection ring stand, and its design is different. The one you have has a split at each side of the bottom corner. That makes it easy for the case to dislodge. The one that I have is completely sealed around all the edges of the case, and each rounded corner is also very slightly raised for better drop protection. For a case as thin as it is, it has very good shock absorption.
Hey, I was just wondering I have the iPhone 15 Pro Max and I have the Mous case on it and I was just wondering what do you think of the Dbrand? Case is that case as good as the MOUS case is it as good of protection is the Crip on the sides too grippy or is it just good? I would like to know if you think it is worth getting at all because I would like to maybe get a new case for my phone
I do not recommend getting peak design cases unless you are using it for motorcycles, mounting them with the accessories, etc. it’s an ecosystem type of product not a standalone

I agree! Only reason I got it is because of the motorcycle mount
im considering it but don't have any peak design offerings I want a case with good grip and strong magsafe so I might try it

What’s your methodology for measuring the shock dynamics dealt to the case?

Can you test one with the capacitive camera button?

It’s also works with peak design quick connectors, this was actually the main selling point for me.

@@Paa375 the best MagSafe case I have ever used is the “TOCOL Magnetic for iPhone 15 Pro Case” just get the one for whatever generation you have
Missed best Peak case - Built in finger loop version - rocks ! ! !
Camera button cut looks bad.
I hated the material on the back of the case - felt cheap to me for some reason
Peak has a trade in marketplace to sell your used Peak case - nice! So less $ cost than you might think!
Wish they collaborated with nomad for the 16
I love my Nomad x Peak Design case for my iPhone 15 Pro Max
