I'm really disappointed in Mous. I basically already planned to get the Limitless case for my new iPhone since it protected my old one for five years. But after this year's redesign reveal, with that large, ugly cutout, made me switch to another brand.

Thank you for this review. My iphone 13 has the Caudabe Sheath and Flolab screen protector that you recommended 3+ years ago. They have worked extraordinarily!!
I am not a fan of the cut-out camera button cases. I tried several at the Apple Store, and I’m using the Apple Silicone case until there are better non-Apple options. AppleCare will have to be my 1st level drop protection for now.
My last 3 iPhones (14 pro max, 15 pro max, and 16 pro max) have been rocking the Torras MagSafe Kickstand case and I love them. Strongest magnets I have tried (except for MagSafe case) and great all around protection. The 16 Pro max case doesn’t have a full cut out either. The kick stand is a life saver.
Love your reviews. They seem genuine and honest which makes me trust you. I’ve just ordered your #1 pick for the iphone 16 pro max case. Looks stylish yet does not lack in the protection department. The affordable price is a bonus. Can’t wait for the product to arrive. Thanks for doing the homework for us. Keep the videos coming.
I don't plan on buying the new iPhone 16, but I like staying updated on how companies keep up. I'm a big fan of Mous, and I was a bit disappointed when they were at #4 for the first time. However, seeing Flolab at #1, which only costs $30, is insane! I'm also a massive fan of Flolab's Privacy Screen Protector! Thanks for doing this review!

I get my 16 plus tomorrow and this video convinced me to get the flolab case. I went with white and clear to show off the pink. Theyre on sale right now for 20 bucks on amazon and their website. They dont have the buttons on amazon right now so you need to get those on the website but be aware of shipping. So the 4 dollar buttons will be way more. I skipped out on the pink buttons and went with amazon for free shipping. If they add the buttons to amazon later i might snag them. Just feeling the case without having the phone yet, it feels great. Its not bulky or heavy so i feel confident it wont cause comfort issues with the phone over time. Also the magsafe design does hold my popsocket really well so im confident i wont drop my phone using that. Cant wait to pop it on my new phone tomorrow.

I think there's a pretty big void in the reviews this time around without mentioning any of the cases that cover the camera button AND allow you to use it's full functionality. I'm sure you're on it for the next case review video. As far as I know there are three cases that have this as of now: Apple silicone case, Supcase Unicorn Beetle Mag, and Spigen Ultra Hybrid T MagFit. I've ordered the latter two and will report back on my comparison.
Consider listing all the cases you tested in the description. It’s hard to know whether you have looked at one (for example the Rhinoshield case) and it just didn’t make the cut. Otherwise, love your videos and your reviews.
I love your videos. Always check here before I buy something. I’d love to see another roundup once companies figure out how to cover the button properly. Cutouts are a deal breaker for me.
Looking forward to the next round or at least that Magbak case that has its own button on the new camera one. They seem pretty proud of themselves for that new case.
Bought the FLOLAB case with Matt translucent. Just a disclaimer to those thinking of getting it. The black portion is kinda rough to touch and it seems like the unlock button seems.. loose. It won’t drop out but it’s finicky.
So happy you get it. I’m sick of companies overcharging and under building. I have an ear case that’s like an otter box commuter on roids. Has a camera guard kick stand. Checks all the boxes and well built besides the fact that the phone pops out of the case easier than a horribly made silicone case. $30 and it’s one failing point makes it lose out to sub $10 cases for me. It’s was so close to perfect. But you do the right tests. I love it. Thanks man.
Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…
8:18 Well that was a 5$ case drop. Or even a no case drop, which requires only a screen protector. And those cheap cases actually handle much harder drops when combined with the screen protectors. My phone was forcibly thrown on hard tilted floor, landed on the corner, face down. Left no marks, though I had to replace the screen protector, it cracked.
Appreciate the review. Did you assess the gripzilla case yet? I ordered it and was wondering what you thought of it if you have seen it. Looking forward to more case reviews as they arrive.
"I love a good kislux because it helps me decide if I want to buy the real thing or NOT." That part right there. That's IT. I feel like people stigmatize dupes but for me, I pause on large purchases that are trendy or when I feel the overconsumption mania setting in FOR ME. (It's something I struggle with LOL! I'm easily convinced to buy things I don't wear or use. They'll literally have the tags and I'll even forget I bought something and have 2 or 3 of them in my closet.) Love this video!
Been watching you for a while. I got a new iPhone 16 Pro and ordered a Flolab case based on your rating. I'm a little nervous because for my 14 Pro, my Mous Clarity case worked amazing and despite a few scuffs, still looks really good. It was the first time I only bought one case for my phone. Hopefully Flolab's new case works just as well, if not better.
UPDATE: I got my Flolab "Surtect Tri-Fusion Magnetic Translucent Black" case yesterday evening. It's now 9:27am and the back looks like I've owned it for a year. There is almost no scratch resistance at all with so many micro-scratches. Also, the borders of the case feel nice and soft, but the plastic back feels cheap. It doesn't feel like a case that would withstand a high-impact drop. Flolab does offer a 30-day "hassle-free" return policy if the case doesn't match the customer's "satisfaction." However, it's only on unused products still in the box. Not sure how someone can determine if they are satisfied with their case in 30 days if it's not used. I'll probably use this case for a while until Mous cases go on sale. Tried and true product.
Thanks. I was hoping someone would review these camera control buttons when using a case. A cutout makes the movement less “linear” and takes away the ease of sliding (which is what I assume). It would be helpful for those intending to use it to find out which non apple one is a good alternative. I would be surprised if all of them are working as nice
I've been using the Caudabe Synthesis on the 15 Pro and it's been the best case I've used by far. My only gripe was their stupid buttons, but looks like they've finally fixed it this year.
ACTUALLY, we made some mid-cycle tweaks to the material and the 15 Pro Synthesis buttons now work like a dream. Feel free to reach out to our support team and ask about this.
Paid $91 off Canadian Amazon for my Mous limitless 5.0 for my yellow iPhone 14 and after eight months, I've never taken the phone out of the case. I got the dreaded bulge on the screen lip by the volume buttons. So currently it's off the phone with an elastic band tied around it hopefully to reshape it back to normal, but with these new ones, they keep chopping off material like that I can't see the maintaining the shape over a longer period of time.
The 5.0 did that on my 14PM after about 7 months. Sent email with photo to Mous, new case arrived in about a week, no charge warranty replace. New one good so far@ 17 months out.
@@jerryhoward6352 well, I got mine off Amazon so I don’t have a warranty with Mous but I think the case will be OK after it sits for a while with the elastic band around it I’ll give it another week or two seems to be holding shape
Great video. So happy to finally see a channel not hyping ESR cases. I have to admit, I bought into the influencer hype and bought one for my wife. She had the “classic hybrid” case on her 14 pro for two days before she dropped it for the first time (waist height on tile floor). The back glass of the phone completely shattered on that first drop. Keep in mind we have three young sons whom have kicked, dropped and thrown her phone all over the house for the last couple years and it didn’t have a scratch until the ESR case.
I was concerned with the camera lens protection with the speck. I bought it and then returned it because I didn't feel like I could trust it to protect my camera. Are you not concerned with the bezel not going all the way around the camera lens?
One problem I had with the o stands your MagSafe accessories all move so if you like MagSafe accessories don’t get these o-stands otherwise they are very functional
@@sigmaziz0 It only has the magsafe ring, and not the small line under it like other cases. for example, if you have a magsafe wallet, the wallet will move around because the case doesnt have the magnetic line to keep the wallet from moving
Can you do a review of camera lens protectors? How well do they work, impact the image, what's the best kind to buy? I can't seem to find any info out there pertaining to these type of reviews. I hear that some of them are prone to blooming, or humidity collecting in between camera lens and protector. I am not sure what to purchase but wanna make sure I protect.
In previous years videos, he has never liked camera lens protectors because the lenses are already more scratch resistant than tempered glass and they subtly affect photo quality
Thank you for being upfront with the wear on the caudabe synthesis its a great case but scratches so easily and then now you have a case with all these awful scratches so again thank you for your honest feedback I really appreciate it 🙏🏻👍🏻
I'm so happy to see a clear case made the top 5. I was really getting worried for a bit. Going to pick up the Flolab case and screen protector with my first iPhone. Switching from S21fe to the 16 Pro Max in desert titanium!
Hi, I’m planning to do the the same for my desert titanium. Which colour for the case did you choose? Are you happy with the case and screen protector so far?
I like the camera caption button cutout from the Speck case, and I think all iPhone case brands should consider this cutout design besides the giant cutout!
now i believe you more Aaronnn... Thought that Mous will stay at number one, but with that cut for camera control it is become weaker on the corner... You're the best!
Appreciate your work this was helpful. The frame switching is a lot though, I know it attracts and holds eyes, but with the quality youre bringing you don't need it
Great review! Just ordered the Flolab Matte black case for my inbound iPhone 16 with an extra set of the blue trim pieces. Normally, I’m a fan of the speck grip cases, but they’ve done away with the rubber grips and just molded lines into the plastic case now which after reading reviews seems to have cost them a lot of their customer base including myself. I’m excited to check out this Flolab case it’s hard to beat for the price and the customization trim accents is a neat feature.
Please also do a couple RhinoShield cases. The solid suit and the clear one. I’m thinking of getting the clear one. And one quadlock case for when I’m on my Bike
Do you make the list of products reviewed or your scoring public? It would be nice to know what cases were not reviewed or didn’t make the cut and/why they didn’t. For example, the strength of the MagSafe attachment may not be as important to some people who don’t intend to use it.

Bought the FLOLAB case with Matt translucent. Just a disclaimer to those thinking of getting it. The black portion is kinda rough to touch and it seems like the unlock button seems.. loose. It won’t drop out but it’s finicky.
I LOVE YOUR REVIEWS BEEN WATCHING YOU FOR 8 YEARS. Never steered me wrong. The only person I TRUST. Please never stop ❤❤
I love it. Thanks man.
Any thoughts on the smartish gripmunk or nomad leather cases?
is flolab the thinnest? because i want a case as slim as possible
Thank you for the review. This was very helpful.
Thanks!
Appreciate the review. Did you assess the gripzilla case yet? I ordered it and was wondering what you thought of it if you have seen it. Looking forward to more case reviews as they arrive.
Aaron, Please review more phone cases for the 16… I need more choices!
Have you checked out Benks cases yet ?
It sucks. The camera cutout is even weaker than the regular buttons. I tried it and hard to access the camera section.
@@boogeymanw9643good to know 🙏🏻
This guy is built better than the all of phone cases
Anywhere we can see the data from your testing on all 27 cases?
The Flolab looks like it has a screen cover that is prohibitively glossy. Is that what I’m seeing? Is that part of the case or separate?
"I love a good kislux because it helps me decide if I want to buy the real thing or NOT." That part right there. That's IT. I feel like people stigmatize dupes but for me, I pause on large purchases that are trendy or when I feel the overconsumption mania setting in FOR ME. (It's something I struggle with LOL! I'm easily convinced to buy things I don't wear or use. They'll literally have the tags and I'll even forget I bought something and have 2 or 3 of them in my closet.) Love this video!
You are the man. I love my new case!!
Which one has the best mag safe as the John e silicone one mag safe is so weak.
Two years in a row buying Anker phone cases. Bought one for my 16 ProMax and it's just great.... and 20$...
Was waiting for this. Only phone reviewer I listen to since I found you 4 years ago
@MobileReviewsEh , would it be possible to share the results for the other places? I'm looking at the Mous Super Thin 2.0, and the Spigen
@@getcaudabeI was waiting to hear back on why my synthesis scratches so easily can you address that?
But what is the best case that doesnt have a cut out for the Camera control ?
Good luck with that battle
How to order for EMEA regions ? I live in Morocco and I really need it 6:59
Paid $91 off Canadian Amazon for my Mous limitless 5.0 for my yellow iPhone 14 and after eight months, I've never taken the phone out of the case.
@@jerryhoward6352 bought mine on Amazon, so I'm out of luck
Esr cases are like spigen cheap Amazon garbage
Do you think the flolab camera ring is big enough to protect the lenses?
I was concerned with the camera lens protection with the speck. I bought it and then returned it because I didn't feel like I could trust it to protect my camera. Are you not concerned with the bezel not going all the way around the camera lens?
And your number one case, I didn’t hear you talk about the MagSafe strength and the magnet.
The blue on the iPhone 16 looks really good!
Can you please test the TORRAS 360°Rotatable Magnetic, Ostand R Fusion Case 360°, and Guardian Ostand MagSafe!
One problem I had with the o stands your MagSafe accessories all move so if you like MagSafe accessories don’t get these o-stands otherwise they are very functional
@@Paa375 Wdym they move? Are the magnets weak? What about durability?
@@sigmaziz0 It only has the magsafe ring, and not the small line under it like other cases. for example, if you have a magsafe wallet, the wallet will move around because the case doesnt have the magnetic line to keep the wallet from moving
@@brndncho k thanks)
is there a complete list of the 27 cases in order?
Good luck with that
Can you do a review of camera lens protectors?
When is par two?
I like the camera caption button cutout from the Speck case, and I think all iPhone case brands should consider this cutout design besides the giant cutout!
What's the best screen protector for iPhone 16?
What is the absolutely best drop protection?
now i believe you more Aaronnn...
And one quadlock case for when I’m on my
Bike
Do you make the list of products reviewed or your scoring public?
It would be nice to know what cases were not reviewed or didn’t make the cut and/why they didn’t. For example, the strength of the MagSafe attachment may not be as important to some people who don’t intend to use it.
Is the brand grip case any good this year?
The blue on the iPhone 16 plus looks really good?
Add the Spigen tough armor to the test. It checks lots of boxes, isn’t crazy expensive and seems to pass most of your tests in my book. Great review
Can you do a review on mous case with the new glass button
Hey Aaron, longtime viewer here. I remember coming across your channel when I had the iPhone 6 and wanted insight into the Lifeproof Frē Power years ago. Definitely have trusted your insight since then.
Went with the Mous Limitless 5.0 last year and have not looked back. Great product, which is why I’m shocked they didn’t make it to the top spot this time around. Looking forward to to seeing an in-depth look into your number one pick in the near future!
So grateful for your reviews
Is it better to buy a case without a kickstand or grip, and to just purchase as an accessory?
