No type of music should be the same it doesn't take away from a band because they aren't like anyone else they shouldn't be they have their own brand. I also think it's healthy for there to be a band who stirs things up in the music world look at Fred Durst, he comes back with Limp Bizkit (once again different sound but you get my point of a complete trash talker who a lot of people thought were disrespectful to more mature bands in his craft). So I'm just saying music should be music and shouldn't be based on what someone from a different form of it has to say because anyone can say anything at all about anyone and at the end of the day it doesn't matter people still listen to that band.
on the BMTH note... listen to the first seconds "Anthem", "It Never Ends", AND "Home Sweet Hole". 3 songs from the same album with incredibly similar intros. all good music though. (i'm not talking bad on any bands here, i dig it)

For example, straight edge people don't do drugs and get high, don't go out and get drunk (though a beer here and there every now and then isn't bad), and in some cases are even vegetarian or vegan. Tattoos are in a lot of cases a way for SxE people to show they are straight edge. They may have the XXX tattooed somewhere showing they are SxE. Again, being SxE all has to do with what you put in your body.

These guys are a metalcore band but you can tell they have a lot of hardcore influence. They are a good band as compared to some bands these days.
