Shit man im 35 and im grateful to have lived through the best generation of music of all time. Played with all my favorite bands and toured with a lot of them too and i still tear up watching this video after like 15 fucking years. This msuic will never happen again and that makes me super sad

First TGI video/single! I recently listened to Dear Youth, now I'm looking back at their old stuff and it's just as god damn amazing. Becoming one of my favourite bands.

When I saw these guys on The All Stars they stopped right before the break down and said OK everybody...come to this mic...i freaking screamed "I'll see you when the sun sets" so loud, my throat started to bleed.
I heard this for the first time in 2023. This song is so ahead of its time omfg. I blast this now 2023 in my car so loud
I remember listening to this in my high school days back in 2010 and seeing these guys back then, here I am again, still love it just as much 🖤

Favorite band to see Live, by far. They never get old and I always get fucking chills.

@prayingdeath666 Not necessarily. That's only if the actual band hasn't made a page. There is a page the band regularly updates and it does in fact say Melodic Hardcore.

@bettersensehc As a HUGE Misery Signals fan, and musician, I'm going to have to dispute that. They share some similarities in that TGI has a lot of melodies that outline a lot of chords Misery Signals uses, but they don't have similar styles of playing, other than having breakdowns. TGI focuses more on hardcore riffs, with melodic passages played over them, while Misery Signals focuses a lot on counterpoint riffs, and harmony, with very few "hardcore" riffs.

Are you serious ? Like.. Horizons is one of the best metalcore albums I've ever heard in my fucking life, I gotta admit though that Deep Blue is not as intense. Anyway I think both PWD and TGI are two of hardcore's finest bands.

I just think that PWD are not on their peak anymore, they are just one of those bands you can easily say they're awesome whatever they do. TGI is getting all the fame and stuff lately that's why it may look like they're more successful than PWD.

@TheCagedBear It's not gay ass titles... It's people fighting over whats better and whats "tr00 and br00tal". If people would quit acting like ignorant 16 year old wannabe metal purists we could all get along. I like pretty much every metal sub-genre and some hardcore. Thrash is my favorite though. To clarify on sub-genres this band is melodic hardcore. Silent Civilian is an example of metalcore. They have their distinct differences.
Good band, but there's nothing predominantly original here. It's basically the same exact instrumentals that we'd expect from bands like Bury Tomorrow or Of Mice & Men (etc.), however the element of clean vocals is absent.
