I've rode surrons talarias and build my own ebikes on mountain bikes and stealth bomber b52 frames but these solar E-Clipses' are one of the smoothest rides and best tuned bikes by far. Their top speed claims aren't far off, I got 58mph and the range per charge seemed to last longer than a surron but just enough to be noticable. Solar released a very good bike even for how late into the game they are

Solar bought the rights and made alot of changes like bigger battery removable battery, moto brakes, folding pegs, different controller, lots of stuff. Also comes tuned down from factory go in the app and turn it all the way up it'll go 65mph easy. It's a good bike for the road you void your warranty if you jump it or do "extreme riding" so surron or talaria is still a much better bike although I wish they came 72v stock like this solar eclipse does.

Tbh for 65mph+ I would go DOT tires even fat street tires aren’t meant to go those speeds you need to be riding on motorcycle tires. Personally I go for Michelin city but pilots are just as good or any quality motorcycle tire making brand All surron and surron clones are like this stock when you’re buying most of the $2k+ bikes
