I started watching this video with substantial skepticism... and ended it being very impressed with the discussion and peoples' reactions and considerations about the AVP's (and VR's in general) affect on society. I'm over 60, and love VR/AR... but I have mixed feelings about whether or not VR, etc., will be better or worse for society. I can see how it could be incredibly helpful for education and, ironically, even communication--but at the same time, I worry it will adversely affect the depth of those communications.
