Not All Heroes Wear Capes (stylized in all caps) is the debut studio album by American record producer Metro Boomin. It was released by Boominati Worldwide and Republic Records on November 2, 2018. The album features guest appearances from Gucci Mane, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Swae Lee, Rich Brian, Gunna, Young Thug, Wizkid, J. Balvin, Offset, Kodak Black, and Drake.[1] The deluxe edition of the album was released, consisting of the instrumental versions of all songs from the standard edition on November 6, 2018. The album is the first part of a trilogy, with the second part being its sequel, Metro's second studio album, Heroes & Villains, which was released on December 2, 2022.

Such a slept on album. Survived 4 months as a broke teenager with only this album purchased(google play music). Also the album means a lot to me because it helped me appreciate production philosophy and really was the catalyst to me becoming a full on music lover.

This album will always have a special place in my heart. Was in sales straight out of college in June of 2019, randomly found this album while traveling across california in my work van. Every single time I hear any one of these songs just brings me back to when I was 23 :(

Everybody talks about heros and villains and the savage mode albums but this album is so under appreciated and this album has some of metros best songs like space cadet, 3am/save the world, only 1 interlude, 10 freaky girls and the mega underrated Only you

Besides the production. Something Metro does really well (especially on Heroes and Villains too) is the use of features on his albums. Instead of treating them like features where they get one song and done, they appear multiple times as if they are reoccurring characters. It really makes for an interesting listen.
Tbh part of it is because Metro doesn't rap himself lmao so it's inevitable, you have to bring someone in multiple times because if not and he instead only has one guy doing all the features, then it would be the rapper's album instead of Metro's

Ive got an artist suggestion that is different from the norm, but as a lover of artistry and production, I know you guys would LOVE a very popular latin artist name FEID.
To get a feel for some of his songs, you should listen to “Normal”, “Aguante”, “Castigo”, “Velocidad Crucero”.
I don’t speak Spanish, but you can FEEL the passion, artistry, spacey vibes, all of it. Maybe you guys could go through it with English lyrics.
