False prophesies are the "fruits" of false religion. It shows that the governing body is not guided by holy spirit at all. These prophesies are in your own publications in black and white print that anyone can read. Covering up pedophilia is also not "truth" it's pure evil.

I would encourage you to not fall victim to another religious scam. Many times ex-JWs because of their religious inclination are easy prey for born again Christian evangelists. Find a good secular/freethinker/rationalist organization to fellowship with and find community. You have abandoned JW nonsense and you are on the right path. I was a JW for 32 years from birth until I was able to brake free. The explanation about their teachings in this video is spot on. I would say that this man explained it more clearly than a JW would be able to do. In general it’s easier to grasp their teachings when your objective or have left the cult. While in, you’re so indoctrinated that you just buy the concept, you’re not allowed to question it, so you buy even the things you don’t understand and blame you’re self for not having enough “knowledge” to be able to grasp the “truth” as they call their teachings. When outside the group you understand why you couldn’t grasp all the teachings. It’s because they don’t make any sense, they are inaccurate when comparing to the history and archeology, they are not even bible based!! So relieved to be out...

Just because you were a Jehovah witness for 32 years means nothing. There’s only one God and it’s not Jesus. Jesus said his father is the only true God. John 17:1-5 so if you think Jesus is Jehovah your worshiping a false God. Ps 83:18 shows Jehovah alone is the Most High. Jesus is the Christ the Son of God. Matt 16:16,17 John 20:31 also tells who Jesus is.

I was a Jehovah's witness for 18 years and what I learned from door to door and I would see on the territory card it would say don't go to this address and I realized that the people in that address had there number and knew what they were talking about so they didn't want there sheep to hear it

JW are waiting for the end instead of enjoying life and being a good person. They are judgemental where God is the only judge. JW won't be coming back as their former selves but recreated in god's image, so you have to be dumb being miserable in life waiting for the end just to not come back? My heart hurts for JW bc I know how amazing my dad was until he got into the JW. He seems sad, angrier and is working himself to death. If you are truly happy then I am happy for you. But you have to understand that when you love someone you want the best for them. I would rather live one life happy and as a good person then one miserable, doom and gloom to just die in the dirt.

As a lifetime jw, now an ex jw, White is very accurate with his take on jws. Particularly, it is great that he acknowledges that JWS are literally the same group as the Millerites via George Storrs, which really makes CT Russel the second leader of the group. He would likely say JF Rutherford as the second leader, but I say the connection is even stronger than what White says. But he gets it pretty close.

All political and religious ideas or thoughts have been promoted by what humans think and write about. You learned everything you think about, from other people. However, unlike any other publication your opinions have been formed from, In the case of the Bible; It's the only of it's kind.
Never before or since, have humans collaborated across diverse back grounds, for an accumulative period of time, 1600 yrs, to write one single compilation with a singular theme as the Bible. Maybe if we were taught to think for ourselves when we were growing up, The world wouldn't have voluntarily chosen a path of profound ignorance about how to live in harmony with the earth's natural design, or in harmony with biological design of all of it's inhabitants. Maybe if you weren't so proud of your own egotistical image you could see that even you were formed by what other people think and do. You are imitating and regurgitating information like everyone else. You are no different than someone who claims any religion or political faith. You just made a different choice than someone who chooses to be one of Jehovah's Witnesses. You're simply forming opinions with information that feeds your personal interests and supports your perspective of the world. Therefore, you must belong to some cult because that information comes from men too.

I'm a former JW and my channel uses the bible to refute JW teachings. Also on there is an interview where I share my experience of being a JW and leaving the group. It's important that Christians learn how to help JWs.
I am too, but the dyed in the wools dont want to hear that their beliefs are fraudulent. They have been so indoctrinated into fear they are too paralyzed to look at anything else.
Hi ! I just recently left..no I wasn't kicked out. They keep changing their teachings and tell u not to read other books cuz its not the truth according to them. Slowly they will remove ANYONE who isn't a Jw in your life so that when you are close to JWs,if u do something wrong then they take the JWS away and you are left with nothing.
Look up johaness greber. He was a spirit medium that helped translate their "bible". The average JW doesn't know it and fear looking in to their own belief because they are told its the unforgivable sin.(control to keep u there)

Based on a quick reading and misinterpretation of Acts 20:20, many believe that the apostle Paul preached the gospel of the kingdom from house to house, to those who were unconverted. But when the entire paragraph is read, starting in verse 17, the proper meaning can be understood.
Paul “sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the Church,” saying to them, “I…have taught you publicly, and from house to house.” He taught the Church leaders in their own homes. Paul did not go from house to house, teaching whomever answered his knock at the door.
At his own hired house in Rome, Paul “received all that came in unto him, preaching the kingdom of God,” which Christ had commanded him to preach (Acts 28:30-31). Christ had personally taught the gospel to Paul (I Cor. 15:8; Gal. 1:11-2:2). One of Christ’s teachings was that we are not to force our beliefs on anyone (Matt. 7:6). This makes clear that Paul did not try to convert people by preaching from house to house. His public teachings were carried out mainly in the Jewish synagogues.
Acts 2:46 is another widely misunderstood verse: “And they [the twelve apostles and other disciples], continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness.” It is important to note that these individuals were unified.
They continued daily with “one accord.” They all believed the same things. This scripture is describing people who ate together, just as someone might invite friends and close acquaintances to his home for a meal and fellowship. These verses make no mention of Church members going out of their way to preach the gospel to strangers.
In this particular circumstance, many from different nations had gathered at Jerusalem to keep Pentecost, one of God’s annual feasts. Since they had traveled a great distance and had no home in Jerusalem, the Jerusalem brethren invited them to their homes to eat. (The King James Version of the Bible uses the term “breaking bread” to signify eating a meal.) Converted Christians were eating in the homes of other converted Christians-they were not preaching in the homes of unconverted individuals or families.
In Luke 10:5-7, we find direct instruction from Christ not to preach from house to house: “And into whatsoever house you enter, first say, Peace be to this house. And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again. And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the laborer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.” Christians should never be out trying to force anyone to accept the truth of the Bible. Christ showed that God’s Word is too valuable and precious for us to flaunt carelessly (Matt. 7:6). We are instructed to “let your light so shine before men” (Matt. 5:16). A light does not make noise. Therefore, Christians are to teach by their examples.
Conversely, we might ask, “Should we invite into our homes ministers or others who are going from house to house teaching doctrines contrary to the Bible?” God’s instruction on this matter is found in II John, verses 10-11: “If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that bids him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.”
Christ’s example, and that of the apostles, is that Christians neither preach from house to house nor invite into their homes anyone approaching them soliciting a false gospel or any other man-made religion.
Sergio da Silva As for Christmas, Easter and Birthdays, some object to Christmas on the basis that Scripture does not provide a clear command for Christ’s followers to annually celebrate Jesus’ birth, but neither does Scripture command the annual observing of wedding anniversaries. Yet, Jehovah’s Witnesses and others who reject Christmas celebrate their wedding anniversaries. Why?
If it is wrong to commemorate an event that Scripture does not command to be observed, why did Jesus celebrate the Hanukkah holiday by being in the temple for the Feast of Dedication aspect of this holiday at John 10:22-23? Since it is permissible for Jesus to celebrate a holiday that God did not command to be observed, why can’t Christians likewise commemorate Jesus’ birthday by putting their focus on honoring Christ during the Christmas holiday?
Did you know that in keeping with Christ’s practice of freely celebrating Jewish holidays regardless of whether they were commanded by God, the Bible allows Christians to freely choose whether or not they want to observe religious holidays?
“One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. He who regards one day as special, does so to the Lord.”-Romans 14:5-6a
“Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.”-Colossians 2:16-17
So does the act of celebrating Christ’s birth at Christmas time dishonor God? I do not believe so.
At Luke 2:7-18, Scripture records how God celebrated the birth of His Son by sending the angels and shepherds to honor the baby Jesus and to make His birth known to mankind. Since God became excited about the birth of His Son, why would it be wrong for Christians today to get excited about Jesus’ birth?
I always wondered what JW's thought about this question regarding their doctrine of Jesus being Michael the Archangel -
In the book of Jude it says that Michael the Archangel dared not bring an accusation against the Devil, but said "the Lord rebuke you". So we see in this that he did not rely on his own power or own name or own position, but stepped back and relied upon the Lord to rebuke the Devil.
However Jesus in the Gospels said in His name to cast out Devils. In the temptation in the wilderness Jesus rebuked Satan, and again when Satan tried to rebuke Christ through Peter Jesus said "Get thee behind me Satan".
Furthermore, we also see Jesus forgiving sins of people (the cripple man and the woman caught in adultery), and in John 10:18 Jesus says He has power to lay down His life and raise Himself from the dead, and in John 10:27-28 Jesus says that He gives eternal life, and in John 4:26 Jesus claims to be the Messiah as prophesied of (Isaiah 9:6 called the Mighty God, Everlasting Father), and also later saying "In my name cast out devils". An angel, prophet, or holy man couldn’t do that.
So according to this, in Jude, the Devil is more powerful than Michael because Michael had to rely upon the Lord. But Jesus is able to rebuke and defeat the Devil according to the Scriptures and claimed much more and did much more than any angel or archangel could.
Can Jesus defeat the devil or not? Because Michael certainly couldn't, and according to Jehovah's Witnesses doctrine the Archangel Michael is Jesus. But according to the Bible Jesus could.

I started studying with them 1 on 1 and at my local kingdom hall weekly and my bible study has gone up many fold because you must study to show yourself approved and be able to give and apologia (defence/ explanation) for your faith. I was raised a j.w. i was a ministerial servant and my father is still an elder. Biggest problem with the organization is thousands of child sexual abuse cases and not reporting these horrible offenses to the authorities. the leaders of the watchtower (the governing body) published a book called "shepherding the flock of god" in this book it talks about the "two witness rule" meaning you need two credible witnesses to witness such an act in order to proceed handling the situation in house or report it to the authorities. Only elders and circuit overseers are allow to obtain and read this book, i spent months copying my father's book he tried to hide and uploaded it online years ago. Im living testimony that the watchtower and tract society, governing body members hold a higher value in theocracy rather than the laws in any given country. I have 2 childhood friends that were abused and one of my friends parents got excommunicated (disfellowshiped) from the religion because they went against the elders council to not go the the police. This is the main reason i am no longer a J.W.
More sexual abuse cases have come out over the years costing the organization hundreds of millions of dollars and i suggest ant j.w. reading this to not believe me but to look up all the sex abuse and demestic violence cases over the last few decades that have come out and can't be covered up anymore.

So thats a few examples in just 3mins of research. I have printed off actual court documents because in some cases they are public records. You CANT say they are not hiding anything when they are being fined 4k dollars on a daily basis for hiding things and remain honest. You cherry pick the Australian court situation specifically because its says "alleged". If someone is suspected of allegedly killing someone and they go to court and are not convicted based on a lack of evidence does that mean they didnt murder someone? When you have hundreds of alleged child abuse cases at the very least a few have been shown to be actual factual instances of negligence in policy to protect members in any organization. For example, when the Bible takes a Greek word like Hadēs and instead of translating it into English they keep it as the Greek pronunciation.

Characteristics of a cult: "Control"
1) The cult claims to be the “one true church” and the only way to eternal life / heaven.
2) If the leaders use the Bible then only they can interpret it. The leaders make you dependent on their interpretation. But usually the leader(s) has had a “Higher revelation” than the Bible which not only supercedes it but also makes you dependent on their “Higher revelation” for salvation.
3) The leaders or the writers of their literatures cannot be questioned.
4) They control members by not allowing them to talk to shunned people who left the organization or were forced to leave.
5) The leaders control the congregation by fear. They promote fear of judgment / damnation if you leave the “one true church” and fear of being shunned.
6) The leaders are very insecure and afraid of being exposed. Because of this insecurity, you cannot read anything negative about the organization regardless of whether it is true or not.
7) You earn your way to eternal life by doing good works for the cult organization. The cult controls the members through "earn your way to heaven" mentality. What Jesus did on the cross is not sufficient for your salvation according to the cult.
8) Cults claim that they are being persecuted when they are questioned or called to accountability on unfulifilled prophecies or on past or current actions and doctrines.
9) The cults do have some truth. They mix truth with error in order to make themselves look more credible. The members soon cannot tell truth from falsehood. They must rely on the cult leaders for truth. Making you dependant on the cult and not on Jesus, the Holy Spirit and the Bible.
10) The cult in effect becomes “God” to the members and is more important than God or anything. The organization replaces God for absolute loyalty.
11) Tragically - No one in the organization has security of salvation. This is another control mechanism. You have to keep doing good works for the cult to hopefully “gain” eternal life. Salvation comes through membership in the organization or obedience to their latest prophecy.
Cult leaders CONTROL you through:
Fear
Manipulation
Intimidation,
Dependence
Deception.
The truth has nothing to fear from investigation
In contrast, Jesus said, " you shall know the truth and the truth will set you free." Are you free in Christ? Or under the control of men, their organization and scheming ways?

The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.”
My salvation is based solely on Christ’s finished work on the cross. Not on my goodness. Jesus said in John 19:30 “It is finished” There is nothing I can do to add to His complete and finished work.

The father resurrected him, not himself. The JWs idea of the trinity is called modelism, and not an idea most Trinitarians believe in. It's better to understand the word "God" as a title of high authority, a title that the father shares with the son. Both Jesus and the father can be called God and not be contradictory when you understand it this way.

Very interesting and well informed. Good work, gentlemen. One thing I would like to humbly point out is that the JW send out mass invitations to Memorial each year. This is an opportunity for non-JWs to experience what the JWs believe and hopefully convert. The numbers of the turn out for memorial are padded to include ALL visitors to the Halls, not solely PRACTICING JWs. The Org uses those padded numbers to tell their followers that the Org is growing, even as it is shrinking drastically. The number of active JWs is much smaller than the reported numbers according to Memorial turnout.

I sat it out and attempted to make friends with members, but knowing I could never commit to the restrictions of Watchtower demands. After previously extricating myself from a seven year membership with the LDS Church, the red flags were flying.

I was born and raised as a JW and was baptized 1995 at the age of 12. Since 2003, I was on my own after my mom died, and I was making my own way in the world. I met my wife 2009 - attending her church, and NEVER EVER as a JW I have had a experience and connection with the holy spirit as I have had with my current church. I think it is arrogantly for 1 religious organization to go around the world and preach that ONLY their believes is the truth.... very arogant.

Two Jehovah Witnesses visited my home, I spent two hours trying to explain to them the deity of Christ to no avail, I then asked them who is the savior of the world? One of them responded " it might be Jesus" I then responded "He either is or isn't the savior of the world." It's very sad to see them being deceived by the organization. When I was eight years old I remember picking up the bible for the first time and opening it to the book of John chapter 1 and as I read the first chapter I understood right there and then who Jesus Christ is. I had no one trying to explain this chapter to me, I wasn't confused, I kept thinking to myself and saying "wow" Jesus is my creator, I had a full understanding of the bible verse that reads "God was manifested in the flesh!" and that All things were created by Christ! Jw's say that jesus was a god but he can't be one because if he was a god then they're saying he was a false god because there's only one true God!

I have friends who are JW and I disagree with them about Scriptures many times. The Bible clearly says that Nobody except God knows the hour and day of Jesus Christs Return.
All but one thing he said is accurate. J-find reach the spiritual resurrection of Christ, just as it is recorded in the NT. They believe that flesh does NOT enter heaven and that one must be transformed into a spirit to do so. They also believe that J is in heaven ruling as a king. I was a Witness for 30 years and there is no teaching of him As being as gaseous being. He made that up to be nasty. Until then, he was in point. No problem. Witnesses cast everyone besides themselves into a bad light, including those who leave. So be it.
So far ur pretty accurate, there are 8 million witness, the rest that attend of that 18m are those who may study with them, affiliate with them to some extent or ppl from which are invited from the community or ppl in the process of becoming a witness.

My heart goes out to Jehovah's witnesses, they are in such bondage from my experience and they depend so much on the arguments they study relentlessly. Unfortunately I see no evidence of relationship with God that I long for them to have.

Of course JWs say that those raised from the dead to live on Earth will be raised still imperfect and would need to gradually be brought to perfection during the thousand-year reign of Christ. There progress towards perfection would be dependent on their dedication.

Charles Taze Russell was born 1852, way after the 1844 demise of the Millertie movement. The group that taught Jesus showed up spiritualy all but faded away. When Charles met with the Advent Christian Church, a post-Millertie organized Church in ca. 1868, he picked up the teachings and even the belief regarding the state of the dead from this group and joined with Nelson Barbor, a previous Millertie, writing the Three Worlds, restored the idea of Jesus coming invisibly. Which was something at first around 1874, but would settle to 1914. Charles was never an Advent Christian member, but took about 50 of them with him when he started his Bible school that would eventually become the JWs.

To start with its Roman Catholic and was " never proven to line up with scripture " the trinitarian doctrine also is a contradiction of the Hebrew God of the Bible . The common mistakes is we see in Hebrews 1:3 the word person and again in 2 Corinthians 2:10 so automatically we assume a plurality but in the context of Hebrews 1:1-3 it clearly implies Jesus is the visible image of the Father this is repeated in Colossians 1:15 and our Lord and saviour Jesus clearly confirming this in john 14:7-9 , 15:24,12:45 with Paul also confirming this in Colossians 2:9 and with the undeniable confirmation in Isaiah 9:6 . There are literally hundreds of ways to prove the monotheistic Hebrew Godhead but we are drilled and bullied into conforming with the Roman Catholic false pagan trinity doctrine and if any dare to speak against it they are deemed heretical. Their is a clear distinction between the Father and Son this "cannot be refuted" but what dose a trinitarian believer do with Zechariah 14:9 or the many verses in Isaiah like 42:8, 43:10-15,44:6,44:8,45-5-6,51:12 , Mark 12:29, James 3:9 all these verses clearly refutes the Roman Catholic false pagan trinity doctrine. JWs call their literature "food FROM God" yet it has these false dates.
