Just want to say I came here to comment because I wanted to see what happened to Barnacules, After asking multiple AI's and asking google I landed here out of desperation, I admire your videos and content. I remember your videos about cooling your TV's as monitors by using USB fans plugged into the USB ports. I responded to you on twitter with before and after photos after cooling my wall mounted TV's with a box fan lol. I truly wish you nothing but success and furthermore I wish I could have even a fraction of the success you do. Fun Fact, you are the reason I use TV's as my primary monitors to this day. Yeah what a fall off. First the dude gets us invested in his health by talking about his keto diet and his blood clot surgery and watching him almost die on a ladder and then poof, just drops off the face. I don't know the dudes current condition but IF he is still alive and treated his subs like this by choice then that tells you all you need to know about the guy. Why take the time to build a base and invest people and invest money into a setup and then walk out on all of it with out a word? He clearly doesn't appreciate of respect his subs so....act accordingly.

Dudes been on youtube for 16 years now, made mostly amazing content for many many years. I wouldn't say he fall off or went downhill (tf you mean fast?) just because he didn't make a proper announcement on what projects he's working on currently. 87.2K followers as of today while streaming pretty consistently, you might just have a object permanence issue if you know what I mean.
He's basically gave up on his life since Microsoft let him go. I know also he had some family troubles with his son, I kind of feel sorry for him to some extent, but you know if he had put some effort into this channel he could have grown it to 10 million viewers by now. It must be depression or something that hit him because he's totally given up on life. It's really sad too because this channel had the potential to grow upwards of 10 million and be a top channel if someone competent was at the helm who was motivated to put out videos on a bi weekly basis.
@@Runescape. yeah honesty, his topics that he tackled general computer stuff, generally cool tech stuff, 3d printing were on the rise. his humor was funny, inside jokes with his fans, and occasional family bonding were a great to start a loyal following. I was invested since 2015 watching him and watch every single video he released. now I just occasionally pass by to see if he posted anything. been doing this for about a year now. Barnacules was a lost potential sadly.
@@wonshitong6285 I think he talked before in his past videos that he was suicidal and almost killed himself many times. which is pretty crazy considering everything about him. He had what a lot of people would love to have, a loving wife and son, a nice house, a nice car. and also a good career and resume. I guess depression just hits people in different ways, but yeah I think he gave up on this youtube thing. Maybe it just wasn't the right move for him. I hope hes doing well tho, seemed like a down to earth kinda guy.
