    I have the same alignment problems with my Fatip razors, too much wiggle room on the Pins. You looking a bit cramped up in that bathroom, bit like Hunchback of Notre Dame, ahh ... that's the woes of the traveling shaver. Sad news hearing about ShavingTime closure, as I recall the owner was having health issues not so long ago, so probably related to that, many of these small shaving retail businesses and Artisans are one-man shows. Take care Jim🤟🤠👍

      He did have some health issues yes. But I think that the problem is more to do with Brexit.
      Yep, too much wobble room.
      Patience is required

    You and I could be twins, Jim. Both bald, both shave daily, and both have our glasses on top of our head most of the day. 😂

    Great shave Jim. Some razors are just like that, no matter what you do the blade will be misaligned. I think sometimes they are slightly off when made.

      Yes, spot on Scott. It's so awkward to load. But, it still delivers the goods.
      Have a good weekend Scott

    Had the same blade alignment issues with my sample of this razor, too. Eventually managed to get it something like, but it wasn't a comfortable - or efficient - shave. I get better results from my preferred mild razors, such as the Merkur 34C. This 'Dreadful' Spartan is more medium+ in terms of aggression. Like you, Jim, I won't be using it very much in the future!

      Thanks Mark. My favourite DE is the Rockwell 6S without a double. Closely followed by the Blackland Blackbird

    Great shave Jim, don’t think I could be bothered with realigning the blade multiple times. Do use use a seperate camera for recording or another camera. How about a video on you typical setup and how you choose you razor and soaps of Choice.

      I have several recording devices Garry.
      That's a good idea Garry. I will try to do that during winter, when my workload is less and I spend more time at home

    I’ve had a few issues with razors with that style of head, a few of my Parker razors have that head(98r I think) it’s a cheaper replica of the EJDE89 head, the head on the razor you have in the video looks the same, and the blade is off one one side, I know Parker razors reasonably priced and some of there older models have that problem, but that dreadnought razor is expensive, around £50-$60 I think, not good enough to be honest having those QC issues with a razor that price, good video all the same though 👍😊

      Hello Rob. The posts are too narrow. Too much wiggle room. Every Dreadnought must be the same.
      How was it ever released?

      @robwalsh1322 Год назад +1

      @@JimWillShave yep that’s it, my EJDE89 doesn’t have that issue because the head is made to good quality tolerances, some companies cut corners and charge the same price, this is what dreadnought seems to have done anyway
