just bought my first razor after watching your videos, I wanted to save money on blades going into college but discovered that this is way more that just a cheaper way to shave. thanks
I have only spent $8 bucks on 4 packs of 5 blades this past year. Using a van der Hagen safety razor, and Cremo shave cream with Curve black post shave balm. It can be non expensive but people like to waste money on unnecessary stuff I guess.

My brother and myself are recent converts to wet shaving - one of the best moves we have made! Shaving is a pleasure now and it's great to try new soaps and aftershaves. We are in Newcastle upon Tyne and its great to know you are an honorary Geordie too! Your channel is essential viewing for us.
Nice shave Ken💈💈 Yeah the Stirling razor showed its power against your growth, not horrible but present. Beautiful razors, I checked them out when first available, alas not for me. Maybe Rod will come out with a milder base plate some day, although he did design this razor as aggressive. Sweet looking brush, handle shape is cool. Great video and as always, gotta love the burn...😱 Enjoy!
I have one and the standard plate is similar aggressive to muhle R41 if that helps, the hyper plate is for very few people in my opinion although i use it

Great shave. I took photography classes when I was in high school. It was fun being there and the people in that class were cool. The Proraso Green soap was what I frequently used when I didn’t have any artisan soaps in my den, which was a huge struggle I dealt with in my first year of wet shaving. Have a great day

Hi Ken, I liked that brush so I ordered one from Amazon at 9.00pm last night. It arrived about an hour ago. Red handle and the leaflet says 26mm manchurian knot. I will do a couple of test lathers before I use it properly to break it in. You had a great shave here mate! Stay safe, Dave.
