I think you should respectfully decline Rod’s offer. Instead, suggest to him that he randomly “gift” the replacement to one of his other customers. Now that would be amazing!
Chris, while I'm shaving at home I'm a big fan of Semogue bore brushes. When I travel I take along my RazoRock Big Bruce synthetic. I like everything about it except that, to me, the Big Bruce bristles feel "prickly", especially on my 2nd and 3rd passes. Can you suggest a synthetic brush that has perhaps more splay and tips that are less prickly than the Big Bruce?
Hello enjoying your channel. Started Wet shaving just over a year ago . Still have the Edwin jagger shave brush that came in the set. I am making the transition to better razors and trying different soaps. The last 2 months suddenly I can’t developed an adequate foam with my brush. Do they eventually go bad. I just ordered two brushes the razor rock and sterling synthetics. I tried cleaning the brush and even using conditioner, still didn’t work like when newer. Thanks.

TADDs101 I was just wondering since the knot looks like a Yaqi. They're pretty great quality synths from what I've seen. I have a 30mm Yaqi and it's extremely soft while having backbone. I was looking around and wondering if any other company makes better ones by any chance, though I think they have the best ones I know of. Got any idea?
Rod is truly a "vendor of integrity"! Thanks for the video, Chris

I couldn’t agree more with your thoughts regarding Stirling Chris.

That's been similar to my experience w/ Rod. Just a high character guy.
How does the sterling compare to the maggard synthetic black and white brush.

You might have a hard water. If that was the case creating lather wouldn't be an easy job. Same with my case. I ended up buying a distilled water.
Rod is an awesome vendor. I
