I met Mr. Richardson at an L&L Publication video shoot some years ago. He was a wonderful and personable individual. He was willing to spend time with us magic hobbyists, sharing stories and techniques whenever there was a break in the shooting schedule. An all around "great guy" in my book.
Thank you so much for adding this personal story. I appreciate it.
A wonderful upload David, this man is genius. 👍😊👍😊👍👍
Thank you Robert
The set is certainly nice to have, but if some of you are still holding out because of the cost of a "collectors set", start out with the first one, "The Theatre of The Mind" and get the other two later. They're all sold separately. Very much worthwhile. I've had my copy of "The Theatre of The Mind" for the last 20 years, aside from the fact it was given to me by a very amazing man and close friend, it's a keeper.
Excellent advice! Thanks
Very great book as well...👌👌
I love his books and his thinking on magic and mentalism
Another great video, David.
Thank you for watching and commenting
Thank you David! I always enjoy your talks/presentations. Perhaps you can share something along the lines of "Which 3 Books had the Greatest Influence on My Magic!" I too am a lover of magic books and would be interested to hear how you narrowed it down to the three you would choose.
I will address that. I love the question. It might take a little time, but I will get to it. I generally record my videos in blocks. That's why it takes me a little time to get to a question, but I will. Thanks
thanks for the shout out. do you have the scott creasey books those are a goldmine of mentalism specifically his minimalistic metaphysical series.
No, sorry, those are not in my library. I'll take a look
Sounds interesting David. I will look into these books. Can you tell me where they can be found?
As always, thanks for all you do for the magic community.
You can get the "collectors set," all three volumes here: www.penguinmagic.com/p/18633 or you can shop on EBay and maybe or maybe not get the three volumes for less. I would certainly check EBay to see what the going rate is.
