    It's the second part of the Avengers Endgame reaction and I'm dead y'all. This movie ripped my heart out. Every aspect of Avengers Endgame was hearbreaking. From Tony, to Peter, to Steve, to Scott and Cassie, to Wanda and Vision, to Clint and Natasha. I am dead inside. Every time Chadwick Boseman appeared on screen I found myself tearing up. Tony Stark was truly the heart of all these movies. I am going to miss him so much. Pepper helping him through his final moments felt like a circle closing. Thinking of the first Iron Man movie where Pepper feared that this kind of life would get him killed and now here she is helping him through his last moments. "Part of the journey is the end" was such a fitting line, we've said goodbye to seeing Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr, and Chadwick Boseman. This movie bookends their stories in the MCU and it's gutting. Thank you all so much for watching this with me. We leave Phase Three and enter Phase Four. Take care everyone!

    One thing I love is that in the first Avengers Cap told Tony that he's not the type of guy to basically sacrifice himself for others and thought of him as selfish. In this movie Tony (along with Nat) is the one to sacrifice himself for everyone and Steve is the one who for once does something "selfish" for himself by staying with Peggy. Can't wait for you to continue! Especially with the next Spiderman movies and Black Widow

      i love this movie but i still think the steve think makes no sense for his character and was just a way to retire chris evans
      literally ditching bucky who was his CHILDHOOD FRIEND he knew way longer than peggy in the mcu makes no sense on top of steve ever doing anything selfish like this lew;kafjlsakflj
      iron man death works fully and comes full circle
      though this and infinity war are top movies i do think some decisions weren't the best
      the cap for this one and the loki trying to kill thanos with a butter knife for infinity war are my top 2 most hated (and i get it's cool loki sacrifices himself for his brother but an actual loki type sacrifice can be a lot better and if you know, you know)

Heartbreaking moments, and on top of all of that it sticks the landing after a decade of movies wrapping up the storyline masterfully. It is for now and the foreseeable future my favorite marvel movie and probably my best theater experience.

    • @nightfrost1891

      look, i love this movie and infinity war majority of the time but it's still valid to critique some questionable things
      like loki trying to kill thanos with a butter knife when we know loki if he did sacrifice himself could have a more satisfying sacrifice that made actual sense
      he's not the god of daggers and he's certainly not THAT dumb, he's a master of illusions/shapechanging/mischief/MAGIC
      and in this one the captain america ending stuff just seemed like and off way to explain away an actors contract ending
      steve would never ditch his childhood best friend now that he's back and his whole shtick is 'a man out of time'
      steve also wouldn't choose to be selfish and live some life he's not meant to live and ditch everyone else he's come to know and love for a woman
      don't get me wrong, i do like him with peggy but it's just... i do not and never have bought it as something 'in character'
      other than those things and a few others i don't like they are overall great but i mean we can think something is great while also have parts your not so fond of

    Let me blow your mind. If Steve is here and the universe is not disrupted, that means that this cap has been alive the whole time, watching these events, hiding in plain site but unable to tell anyone how it turns out. The husband Steve was learning about when Peggy was in the hospital was Steve but she couldn't tell anyone. IE Steve was ageing, watching all this unfold on tv but unable to intercede or it would create a time split....he was there the whole time. He knew how it would all turn out but had to live through the blip a second time, etc.

    • @bryce253
      @bryce253 20 дней назад +2

      Correct and that's why it's stupid. Why would he sit by and not intercede? It's beyond stupid. But that's not the only thing....like where the !???!! did that shield come from?? If he took it at some point, that means Captain America would not have a shield. And it would have to be before Black Panther left claw
      marks on it from Civil War. There are sooo many plot holes in End Game
      like this. People
      love it for the emotions and nostalgia but the plot is fuuuugged up. Like I mean...why would Thanos be wearing the Infinity Gauntlet in the beginning with no stones in it?!😂😂. How could Thor take the hammer from the Thor there already?! That would mean Thor had no hammer and no Steve could not place it at the exact time and place it was taken because neither he nor Thor knows where it was when it was snatched. This whole movie is like swiss cheese...seriously. They have a time machine. Why not just send Bucky back to his own time?

    • @toddkes5890
      @toddkes5890 19 дней назад

      Steve at least had the notebook about the critical events that occurred while he was frozen. So the bad events that did happen might have been worse but Steve reduced their damage (with SHIELD's help). The good events would have had Steve making sure to enjoy them with Peggy.
      Like the Quantum Leap episode where Sam Beckett leaps into Lee Harvey Oswald, and it turns out Sam Beckett's job was to make sure Jackie Kennedy survived.

    • @jessicamagri8211
      @jessicamagri8211 17 дней назад

      @@bryce253honestly, those things bug me about this movie. I love it, but the plot holes in the end put it below IW for me. We don’t know how Steve got back to that bench, where the shield came from, etc. And I get the whole point of this is that he wanted to do something for himself for once, but I don’t think it’s in his character to stand by and watch terrible things happen without trying to help out with his super strength. Also, for people who also watched Agent Carter and who Peggy ends up with there…what happened to that? Did they just erase that? Sigh. But the movie is still epic and fun lol

    About Thanos seeming more invincible despite not having the stones: It's because this is Thanos from the time of GotG, while the other one had gone through not having Gamora with him for 4 years and having to rethink the way he handles things. The one from Infinity War is a WAY calmer and more chill dude. He walks more slowly, is more emotionally relaxed, and respects his enemies and allies a lot more.

    Man, this was a great movie. I remember watching the movie at the theater. It was a great time. I remember everyone in the theater excitement when the heroes returned from the dead. As well when Tony used the Infinity Gauntlet. And when it shows that Tony was about to die. I can hear some no, not Tony, and some faces in complete shock as he dies. As I can hear lots of crying in the theater.
    I knew Tony was about to die because back in Infinity Wars. Dr. Strange stopped Thanos from killing Tony and handing him the stone shown in order for them to defeat Thanos. Tony needs to be alive at that point in order to pull it off. And the moment that Dr. Strange gave Tony that hand signal. I knew this was it for Tony. But anyway, great reaction. And I hope the rest of your day is enjoyable. Stay safe, take care, and stay amazing Michelle.

    Thank you Michelle for a wonderful emotion filled reaction! FYI…” love you 3,000” is based on the fact that all the movies combined total 3,000 minutes! Please do yourself a favor, after you have emotionally composed yourself, watch your reactions to the films in order to. You probably don’t know this right now but you should see how this journey changed you! How cavalier and condescending and belittling you were towards them (so much so I almost stopped watching you) to slowly realizing what good films they were on their individual merits….then how they fit together….then understanding what a cinematic and creative extravagance you were beholding…then getting attached to these characters and their stories! I am hopelessly indebted to you for letting me relive this journey through your eyes! I only ask that you don’t stop now! Although there’s haters and naysayers out there, rest assured, there’s many more “marvels” ahead for you (especially with someone who understands Academically about film )! Some of the stories I know you will charish are “Wanda vision “ Falcon and the Winter Soldier “ “Black Widow” “Shang Chi” just to name a few! ( especially Falcon and WS’s storyline….and the cinematic beauty of Shang Chi( maybe the most beautiful film I’ve ever watched)! Keep on trekking darling! #makeminemarvel

  • @shawnkroll3950
    @shawnkroll3950 20 дней назад

    Great reaction Michelle. There is so much to say here. This is how you do movies for call backs. Like the point the Tony makes about the Hulk was made for a reason...aka the angriest man....Hulk who yes was violent but he was a protector. Him being the one to bring everyone back is so good.
    The point Dr. Strange said he would never give up the time stone for a person...but he did because what Dr. Strange saw that the one scenario they won was Tony being alive. Tony was the key to winning...and neat that it was not a superpowerful hero to take down Thanos but a highly intelligent man outsmarting Thanos. As doing what a good father does. He gave his life to save his daughter. Polar opposite of Thanos who sacrificed his daughter for power. And let's not even talking about Dr. Strange having to live with knowledge of Tony having to sacrifice himself.
    Then Captain America standing alone against the army as he said he would do...but then you hear "on your left" a military symbolism to I have your 6....that Captain America didn't stand alone and the female and male superheroes came to help him :).

      I really wish they could’ve utilized her more in the movie. But I do understand they wanted to give the original avengers their final spotlight, and her job IS technically to protect the universe outside of humans (like what she did for the Skrulls). So I get what they did with her. But if they had developed her character more here, I wonder if Captain Marvel would have less “haters” today (I’m not even going to get into that shitshow lol, it’s too stupid to even discuss imo)

    Just to clarify, I don’t think Nebula knew what happened to Gamora. I don’t think she knew what it took to get the Soul Stone. No one knows until you arrive there, it seems. So Nebula only knows that Gamora dies at the hands of her father, but not exactly HOW Gamora died. Therefore, she had no way of knowing that she was (accidentally) sending Clint or Natasha to their death. I think if she had known that, they would’ve come up with a different plan altogether somehow.

    For me, personally, this was the perfect ending to a franchise. They knew many fans didn't like where the MCU was going and wouldn't get behind it. This was practically a love-letter to the fans whom grew up with the movies over the past decade (at that point). If you never touch the MCU again, this is a perfect place to stop, but you don't have to stop here if you choose not to.
    Admittedly, I am one of those whom hasn't liked a lot of what the MCU has become, but that doesn't mean you won't like it. Some of it was pretty good. I enjoyed Shang-Chi the most, but also the next couple of Spidey films and Doctor Strange 2. Especially if you watch it after Wandavision. For me though, it ends with Endgame.

      Each infinity stone weakens the wearer. Thanos only had one stone when he easily defeated the Hulk. In this fight against Thor, Cap, and Iron Man, Thanos isn't wearing any stones. He's at max power.

    some fun facts and trivia:
    1. the guy that was sharing in the therapy group with cap is Joe Russo, one of the directors..
    and the bald guy with glasses is Jim Starlin, the creator of Thanos in the comics..
    2. Lila, Hawkeye's daughter, is actually played by Joe Russo's daughter..and the kids that
    went to ask for Smart Hulk's photo are actually kids and nephews of the directors..
    3. did u missed Stan Lee's cameo?
    4. Thanos seems stronger without the stones because he was doing this mission for many years already before he got any of the stones..so he got a lot of battle experience..Infinity War Thanos rely on the stones..
    5. the "I love you 3000" line is actually inspired by RDJ's kids..
    6. the teenage boy in Tony's funeral is the kid in Iron Man 3..
    7. the cast was blind when it comes to the shooting of Tony's funeral..only a handful knew the real script..the directors told the cast that they were attending a wedding..
    8. you should have watch the cast credits..its something special..
    9. next if Spiderman: Far From Home, end of Phase 3 (Infinity Saga)..then welcome to Phase 4, its not a perfect Phase..not like Phase 3..consider it like Phase 1..an opening phase to a new book/ saga..so many ups and downs..so stay open-minded and just enjoy the ride..
    10. Phase 4 opens up with WandaVision..then Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, Black Widow, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the 10 Rings, What If, Eternals, Hawkeye, Spiderman: No Way Home, Moon Knight, Dr Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Ms. Marvel, Thor: Love and Thunder, She-Hulk, Werewolf By Night, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,
    and GOTG: Holiday Special..
    11. also, you should watch the previous spiderman films, xmen films, fantastic 4 films, venom films, and 1 season of daredevil..all before the Hawkeye series..
    ENJOY!

    Using the stones releases gamma radiation which weakens you, unless it has the proper protection. (Two of the stones had to be broken out of some sort of protective casing.)
    So in Infinity War Thanos kept using the stones and it kept weakening him. End Game Thanos has not used any stones so he's actually physically stronger.

    Clint and Nat are crazy, 🤪 they are both fighting who gets to die to obtain The Stone insane. Remember Thanos loved Gamora as his daughter. Clint and Natasha are close like Brother and Sister. A love between brother and sister is just as strong as Father and Daughter relationship. So it does count Clint retrieving the Soul Stone. Clint let Nat go so he basically sacrificed her to obtain the Stone.

    Well mjolnir, just like any of the stones that they take out of the past, can be returned when the stones are returned to the exact point that it was taken so it'll be like it never left. So technically he can dual wield that MF with stormbreaker in his fight against Thanos and it will still be back in time for younger him to have it when he's fighting the dark elves.

    Fantastic review! Thank you so much for sharing!
    Honestly, you should VERY SOON take a short break from the MCU and watch some other Marvel films, the X-Men. I know you have seen the Spider-man films, now catch up on the OG Marvel superhero films starting with X-Men from 2000. There are not nearly as many films as the MCU and the timelines aren't as linear, but they are some really good films in there. Now Disney owns the MCU and the X-Men both under one roof.

    For some annoying reason it has become de regueir to shit on Marvel movies, but when you look at the Infinity Saga, from Iron Man to Endgame, Marvel did something that no studio had done before or has done since. They told a linear story, encompassing 20+ movies over 10 years, coming to a grand finale in Endgame. Rewatching them you can see the trail of crumbs they left in the individual movies that led us through the larger story. I saw this in the theater and it was an electric atmosphere, like nothing you've seen in a film franchise before, even Star Wars. Screaming, cheering, gasping, weeping. A lot of the fans grew up watching the story, from seeing Iron Man as a little kid etc. What Marvel did was a masterwork.

    Tony went to pick up a 15 year old boy and take him to a war in a foreign country without the permission of his legal guardian: with whom he flirted while engaged to Pepper... After using him, he stopped paying any attention and avoiding him. But suddenly he feels guilty about his disappearance, something Stark's ego would never allow.
    The actor had to be fired with honours (something he never barely had) because his character is one of the worst of all the sagas: violence against his companions, lies, deceit, whims, betrayals, vanity, egomania... That whole plot line, that change in personality, is ridiculously bad. Not to mention that, in the comics, the two don't have a real relationship until Peter is an adult, married, works with Tony and gets the Iron Spider.
    Sometimes I think if people can't see the evidences in their faces. He's funny, yes, he's junk, yes, yes.

    Ok Michelle do you see the computer they are showing while Nebula is being her father Thanos from 2014 into the present where she is at which is 2023. Look on the right of that computer and you will see three dates on there. 05 2012 which is May 2012 when they went back in time to retrieve the stones. But notice below that there are two other dates 01 2988 and 11 2009 Tony Stark traveled back to January 2988 BC Year for whatever reason and killed a Kang Variant from that timeline. Then Tony Stark traveled to November 2009 AD killed another Kang Variant and aquired more Pim Particles from 2009 because during 2009 Hank Zoom did have his Lab on the West Coast so Tony snuck in and grabbed two or how many more Pim Particles he needed enough to get back and give some to Cap when he had to return all of the stones.
