most of the "meds" they weasel people into believing they need do far more harm than good. they use them to shorten people's lives, that's one of the main ways they maintain "population control". i have friends that go to doctors and take "medicines" for every little thing, and they are frequently sick or have some kind of medical problems, while people i know who never go to doctors or tale any of these so-called medicines are much healthier and very rarely get sick. but you'll never get most people to see that the whole system is actually designed to shorten our lives, while making people believe they're doing the opposite.

It seems to me you missed a few post credit scenes (I believe there were five). You should watch them before seeing GOTG 3. Finally, nap's comment is not entirely correct. The original leader of the GOTG was a character named Vance Astro, while Starhawk (Sylvester Stallone's character) was more of a powerful, mystic being. The team he is with at the end is a combination of the original team and the second GOTG team from the 90's. The team in these films is the third.

Michelle, u mixed up Universal & Disneyland/Disney World. Haunted Mansion is a Disney thing. Twister & Jaws are Universal things. It's so funny (strange) that the Haunted Mansion frightened u as a kid. That was one of my favorite rides as a kid along side Pirates of the Caribbean.😊 Even after having the most frightening experience of my young life in the Haunted Masion, it was still 1 of my favorite rides. It happened when I was around 12 yrs old, & had gone to Disneyland w/my family during Spooky Season. It was neat seeing Disneyland all decked out for Halloween. Anyway, we had barely gotten to the part of the ride w/all the doors & the long hallway w/the floating candelabra when a person in a scary costume jumped out right next to me yelling "Rah!!" & scaring the SHIT out of me. I had been on that ride many times & never had that happen. I was so scared by it that it triggered an asthma attack. They had to stop the ride & turn on the lights. I was riding w/my mom. My mom yelled @ the Disney employee, " What the Hell is the matter w/u, scaring people like that?!" The employee profusely apologized & seemed extremely worried about me. He kept saying it was what they assigned him to do. My mom searched her bag for my inhaler. I took a couple of puffs. Within in a couple of minutes, I recovered. The ride was stopped for a good 10 mins. Other employees maybe management had shown up, they asked if I wanted to get off the ride or continue. I rasped "Is anyone else gonna jump out?" They all said "definitely not". So, I continued on the ride. I believe they stopped doing that because they had another incident, but I think that person had a heart attack. But, like I said, it's still one of my favorite rides @ Disneyland. Ok, getting back to TWISTER, I have always liked this movie. It's exciting. I thank God that I live in California, where tornados are extremely rare. Anyway, loved your reaction to this movie & your commentary afterward.😊

I rode that ride at Universal Studios and it was a doozy. I've loved twisters since I was a kid though, and been in two real ones.

Those universal rides could get really intense. The only one that really got to me as a kid was the Terminator. It was a combination of live actors and animatronics and film. Something about the robot animatronics with the huge guns legitimately frightened me.

I was friends with a Scottish exchange student in Illinois, and we saw this together when she came to visit me on on summer holiday in Michigan. She was very quiet on the ride home, then said, "You don't get those in Michigan, do you?" Always think of Fiona when I watch Twister lol.

Definitely Universal because Harry Potter's Nocturne Alley is now where the Jaws attraction was. At least it is in Orlando. They have a miniature Bruce the Shark in the window of Borgin & Burke's to commemorate the ride.

One point- a benevolent dictatorship is more desirable than one that is not. A real life example is Singapore. They could have been a banana republic like dictatorship, but the potential dictator really thought of his citizens as his children. It was like a dictatorship run by your grandmother, which makes all the difference. Paul is kind of like that.

Chani not being notified about the future marriage to Irulan to clear Paul’s path to being the Emperor is exclusive to this movie. In the book, Chani was well aware of her position as concubine well ahead of time, so she was not surprised. Dune has the interaction of two cultures, that of the Freman & those of the Imperium. The latter is almost feudal, with royal titles. Chani had to adopt to their customs, like Paul had to adapt to Freman culture. In the book, Irulan is not an evil character. In fact, there was a party when Paul met Irulan when they were younger, before the fall of the Atreides, & they liked each other. Irulan is a tragic figure, being caught in a political marriage without love. She is the official historian.

I do believe that in their own messed up ways, they do love each other but Tom, you wanting to be close to power and money & climb the corporate ladder is a big reason you are with Shiv. Shiv, you wanted a dog that wouldn't leave when you kicked it. It was messed up for Tom to proposed when Logan was in the hospital, really taking advantage of her emotional vulnerability which is something he often does. Shiv, it is straight up evil to cheat on tom throughout your engagement and then tell him on the wedding night after the I dos that you want an open marriage and that you've been cheating on him with your coworker ex whose downstairs right now drinking the wine his parents contributed to. Tom, the betrayed was the smart play but still really messed up. Shiv, you had no empathy for Tom when he thought he was gonna get sent to prison. Tom, you went to some very weird places in season 3 with trying to get her pregnant. Both of you are bad people, your love is toxic and this marriage should not have happened. To quote kendall, "it's the wrong kind of love expression"

I love your reaction to the TomShiv balcony fight, it’s such a great overview of their character flaws & relationship history. They’re both so hurt! It’s easy to forget how earned Tom’s betrayal of Shiv felt in the S3 finale (I still cried for her tho) bcuz he’s kinda been the worst version of himself in S4. I maintain that Tom had the best arc of Season 3 & the writers did a great job building up to that ‘Nero pushes his wife down the stairs & commits to his Sporus slaveboy instead’, however the aftermath this season is tragic. Tom is a quintessential “company man” (derogatory) and it’s why he’s been so successful rising up in the show. I honestly want all the kids away from the company bcuz it’s the only chance they have to heal & build healthy identities. This show is truly Shakespearean & brilliant! None of them are good people but I empathize with all of them at different points. Shiv has got the most sympathy from me this season compared to the last 3 seasons tbh, but she hasn’t actually changed much…her circumstances just keep getting shittier & complicated :(

Your memory is correct; Geto does not appear to Gojo in S1. Geto also said “I don't want anyone from the school to see me”. Also, in S1 Geto had a stitch on his forehead. There is also a reason Geto called ordinary people “monkeys” and especially despised Maki. Conversely, in S1, Maki used the weapon that Geto used when fighting Hanami. At that time, Maki also said, “It is aggravating to use this weapon“.
