I’m the one who sent those rocks 🥰 I’m so happy you kept them Morgan, seeing them in the video makes them so much more special! ❤️
They are super cool!
Thank you! I really enjoy them. They usually sit on my desk, but I've been using them as good luck charms for the game.
Ooh! Shiny math rocks!
Bruce the Goose v cute
Gotta love D&D dice. Does the meat get to make a saving throw? 🤔
These dogs get much more diversed meals than many people around. 🙂
They eat better than me lately lmfao 🤣
Dang i craved that oatmeal even though its 9PM right now!!
The breakfast challenge was fun. Nothing better than morning chores and a story from the farm. Thx again Morgan.
The eggs all over the coop reminds me of my backyard when the neighbor kid is playing ball with his friends. I look out the window and think, "Oh, we've grown baseballs/footballs today."
Beginning to look like easter in the hoop coop 🥚
I've never seen Toby and Abby so happy at meal time. Looks like they love to be surprised with the food choices (except for the broccoli and peas.) The game is fun and a win for the dogs. Take care 😊
Fresh food surely must be more interesting than only kibble & off the shelf food . They get to taste & smell so many different things. Though some of the stuff will take time for them to get used to
Maybe try rolling the roughage first? If it's on the bottom and gets more coated by the other stuff, they might be more likely to eat it.
I was thinking the same thing. Put the stuff they are least likely to enjoy on the bottom so it may get coated and eaten with the other stuff.
If the dogs have not been fed such things from their early days it will take sometime for them to get used to it & to atleast attempt to eat it
My cat ate salad.
While he's a real foodie cat. I think he just liked the ceaser dressing the most.

I will have to do a Roll for Cat Food, looks like fun. We had a dog that loved peas so much, she would go into the garden and take a whole strand out, pick out the pods and open them to get to the peas. Now, my cat loves fresh peas too, so I need to eat them in secret so he doesn't know I've got some. I think the dog has reincarnated into a cat. LOL
A cat's stomach is really sensitive - they don't respond well to rapid changes in their diet. AT ALL. Good luck with all the barf and diarrhea you're going to be dealing with.
My dog in law also goes in the garden and snarfs all the strawberries as soon as they are ripe. He'll also crunch walnuts like a champ.
My cat loves hummus/chick peas. It is the strangest thing. She also loves playing in water, so she's a weird one. Lol.
@@CantankerousDave Tell that to my cat who will eat anything that seems like food if she can fit it into her mouth.
@@CantankerousDave Totally depends on the variety of food you give your pets since their early days. They get used to it & even enjoy it. Tho its more common to see pets being fed kibble / off the shelf food so that's what they get used to
If you steam or cook the "roughage" you might have better luck with Toby and Abby eating it. Dogs don't tend to enjoy raw veggies, but you can sometimes get them to eat them once they're cooked!
We had adog that loved to eat baby carrots with the kids
@@marycoleman3711 mine love carrots too! They’ll even eat a big carrot raw, for some reason carrots seem to be the one thing mine will eat raw 🤣
Mine gets baby carrots instead of bones. He’s on a low fat diet so it healthier for them, and won’t make them gain weight like regular dog treats.
My dog eats even raw meats very reluctantly. Prefers Meat & vegies boiled/ steamed and slightly warm . Only exception are eggs.. And he is a large outdoor dog !
This is the most nerdy way to feed your dogs and I am 100% here for it! 😊
AGREEEDDDD!!!💝
This idea is so cute. If you want to avoid the quick thaw attempt, you can roll the dice the night before and thaw what you need for the following morning when the food is ready to go.
It's funny I realized my dog gets a kick out of frozen steak and stuff! More of a challenge or something for her tyrannosaurus rex teeth lol!
Such good farm farm dogs!! I love watching you spoil them, they deserve the best for protecting the live stock!
I like the fact that you give credit to the creators
LOL I see Joey Ramone likes the idea of being brushed now xDDD. I guess watching Randy enjoying them made him envious.
Lol Roll for dog meal is hilarious xDDD. I do think can keep the roughage but change the greens to something else.
How fun is that idea. I really enjoyed watching the pups eat these different things and see what was a hit.
Glad you enjoyed it!
The ducks must be like happy Easter.
Toby is like the kid who like a picky-eater at first but actually finish his meal, well deserve in clean plate club.
For roughage just use carrots 🥕 😀 or eliminate the items they don't like
“Berries and corn” got a chuckle out of me haha
Me too😂
My dog loved blueberries and broccoli, but I did have to break them down in my food processor and mix it in with the rest of the food. A raw food diet was the best thing I ever did for him 🐶
This is a good idea.
I never quite know what to expect from you next, Morgan. This was cute. I'm glad you are fully enjoying the freedom of not having a day job to attend to anymore. You seem really happy and content.
Would love to see a Roll for Cat next time around, even if it's just a shorts :)
LOL... I find myself wishing I was a dog on your farm, they eat so well while watching this..
I’d replace the roughage they don’t like with other options. It might help when selecting plants for this summer’s garden. My dog always liked carrots, apple, squash. Might try cooking the vegs a bit first to bring out the sweetness.
for anyone curious the second 20 is a 1 in 400 chance (20*20), another 20 would be 1 in 8000
I'm not a tiktok user so it was really nice seeing some of the stuff you get up to on there
I think it's an excellent idea! It gives a round balanced approach to their meals as well as giving them some variety.
I think so too!
I honestly really love that concept
😂😂😂 That last combo bowl both dogs approached warily. The look said “what’s he want us to eat now”? Cracked me up. I don’t think they’re big fans of roll for dog food 🍱 I thoroughly enjoyed watching. 😁
I love the fact that you are always cheerful and into new ideas to make your farm family fun. 😊
The “loaf” as the base would be better cut up…. I would always mix up my dogs food or they wouldn’t have touched it. However, the game looks fun! I keep telling my daughter to mix it all together ….. I have a Chihuahua now and that’s it… and she gets Fresh Pet once a day and duck, chicken, beef jerky and sweet potato treats the rest of the day! Blessings
Cheers Morgan, I really enjoyed that.
I've never seen Toby Dog's face like the one he's pulling at 7.38 in, a big huge goofy grin as he's waiting on his food.
Some nice comedic moments you sprinkled in as well, good work :)
This episode of Cabin Fever Theatre brought to you by Golf Shaw Farm, where the farm is still buried in snow and the real projects remain on hold. 🙂
The dogs eat better than I do! 😂
This is so awesome they get good breakfast it looks like fun to do and they are happy dogs getting good food
I love the roll for dog food, it's such a good way of giving the dogs different things to eat.
Wow. Some of these bowls made ME hungry.
My parent's cat is so picky. She knows what she wants and will turn up her nose at anything else.
Hartford Whaler themed dice - epic! I don't think I know of a team that has more loyal fans. LOL
I love the things that people have made! Such cool gifts ❤️
The "Loaf" cutaway at 12:09 , I busted out laughing 😂
Blueberries were an acquired taste for my Husky. We used them as treats for taking her meds and now she will play with them for a few minutes before settling down and eating it.
Maybe the birds can eat the roughage. Fun idea :)
Wow, I love hearing about your dogs. I'm considering getting them for my farm, lots of coyote pressure.
I heard Donkey’s help keep coyotes away!
@@BarbaraTristan444 Yes, for sure. We actually now have a Guard Llama, I'll be featuring him on a future video on my channel. But what I like about dogs is I think they are better at keeping they Coyotes far away. My Guard Llama will keep them at a distance, but his main job is to herd the sheep back, not really attack...
for getting Abi and toby to eat their veggies try mincing it. that way they can't pick it out as much. you could also mix the veggies in or add them more at the begging so they have all the yummy juices on them!!! :)
I was expecting to see you serving the doggo dishes with a white napkin draped over your arm!
I LOVE the random dog meals! I swear that they look at them like "what the h?", but happily chow down;
I'm surprised Abby doesn't like blueberries! Most dogs do.
Maybe change it to watermelon in the summer 😊
My mom cleans the berries she gathers outside, so she gives their dog the mushy ones - and those that "accidentally" fall off the table. So their dog loves berries.
This one time we were gathering raspberries with me, mom, their dog and my dog. My dog had never had berries before so he spat out the few I tried to give him.
When we went back and cleaned the berries mom of course gave some to their dog - and it was like the look on my dog's face said "Wait you can EAT those?!"
So after seeing the other dog eat them, mine ate them happily too - despite tasting them before and not liking them.
I guess it's in their nature to want what the other is enjoying 😂
My sister gives her dog frozen blueberries and she loves them.
My dogs like the taste but not so much the texture. We lived on Vancouver island when we got our first dog and man oh man is it blackberry world there….they are everywhere and my dog lives for them ( so do I 😢)
@Capital J lol I can see that happening! Sasha's best friend is Bucky, a mini husky who goes from skipping a day eating to eating himself sick!
Good healthy meals for your hard working and grateful dogs ❤❤
I’ve heard dogs get bored of the same meal over & over again 😂I very much enjoyed how much they loved all the variety ❤❤
My mom feels that way about her cats being picky. She swore they would never like any poultry after refusing it for a while. After I came in and started feeding it to them differently (like using a different bowl), they did a lot better. Sometimes it is a boredom thing, other times it is the presentation.
Looks like a fun way to feed dogs. It sure beats a monotonous feeding routine. Think I will try it, but with a modified down version.
Happy Happy dogs they are waiting on their breakfast they both love it wow you have a lot of duck eggs they are so big and beautiful
Thank you for sharing your Roll for Dog Food videos and the behind the scene! I don't have TikTok so it's really nice to see your content from other platforms
You are so welcome!
i love the roll for dogfood series, it's a lot of fun to see what each does does and doesn't like :D
The picture of the duck head is going to haunt my dreams for weeks 😂😂😂
Hey Morgan, with the roughage try putting it in the blender 1st and mix it in better they will eat it all up! they still get the fiber even when blended.
Thank u for this adventurous video...Enjoyed it.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I'm almost considering getting Tik-Tok just to watch all of your roll for dog food videos! 😅
Go for it!
I purée my roughage with a tiny bit of fruit per billinghurst raw diet recommendations. It definitely helps. I’d skip the brown rice, but I know others disagree
I think the dogs would love Pumpkin (100% pure pumpkin)
I think you can give all the green food directly to chickens
Another great video. Love the dice, the animals, just watching the whole farm.
I think Roll for Dog Food has to be fun for Toby and Abby: each meal is different, and a surprise. Except for the roughage. It's very funny how they're both a nope on that one. Though, IIRC, at least one of them likes watermelon...? Maybe try that this summer.
(Please don't try Roll for Food with the cats, unless you want a revolt on your hands.)
Are you....implying cats are....ahem......FUSSY?
Please please please do this again. And may I recommend fruits as roughage?
Maybe make the roughage category only veges or fruit you know your dogs like. Some dogs love tomatoes, some watermelon, etc. And maybe only once or twice a week. This is a fun video.
You have to put a little butter on hot veggies like broccoli for dogs to eat it. Then they scarf it right down. Works great for carrots. Some dogs will eat them raw, just for the mouth feel, but they all will go for hot buttered carrots. Speaking of mouth feel: All my dogs will pick avocados from the trees, and then chew them up like hard green rocks. They will even tease the other dogs and growl to defend their avocado. A while back I had one dog who would stand on his hind legs to pick tangerines, and then eat the inside, leaving the peel.
I cook food for my dog. She’s a mini American shepherd and the breed seems to have a sensitive digestive tract so by including rice, she seems to have way fewer bouts of diarrhea. She will eat any cooked vegetables such as broccoli, carrots, potatoes, celery, cauliflower, cabbage, spinach, cilantro, parsley, lettuce, green beans, squash, sweet potatoes and asparagus stems. The only vegetable she will eat raw is carrot. I usually will collect trimmings from what we’re eating in the freezer then cook it up and blend it and it’s like a gravy with the meat and rice. I had a dog that absolutely loved oatmeal and would get excited when I made it so I always made extra for him.
That's some of the most aesthetically pleasing dog food dishes I've ever seen!
this was so fun! i think abby gave that a 7 and toby an 8. love seeing the good boy and girl get treats!
What a fun and entertaining idea, loved seeing the experiences Morgan!
Great idea for giving your dogs variety, keeping them interested in their food. Dogs are seldom uninterested in food. But it doesn't look like the roughage choices are anything but a waste.
We once gave our dog the testicles after butchering a calf. The first one he ate immediately. The second one he dropped in the rabbit poo pile by the hutches. Two days later he dropped it in an ant hill, waited until it was swarming with ants, and then gobbled it down. A gourmet dog! But then, he was mostly Border Collie, with a bit of Australian Shepherd mixed in.
On seeing the video's thumbnail I really hesitated, because it seemed that one dog was going to eat and one was not.
Relieved that the choices were different types of food, each getting fed
This was a great idea. It gives your dogs something different to eat. Maybe, instead of getting ride of the roughage, just take out the things they don’t like and try something different in its place. Ghost loves apples, pumpkin, and carrots. So maybe you just haven’t found what they like yet 😊
There are certain foods my dogs are absolutely crazy about. When I peel a banana in the kitchen both dogs immediately come running down from upstairs, so fast I have to assume they can actually hear the sound of a banana being peeled because it is way too fast for the banana smell to make its way upstairs. Also, slicing a baguette and opening feta or parmesan or gouda cheese has the same effect on them. I am sure if they could choose between bowls, they would leave their 70% raw meat / 30% veg diet for leftover baked potatoes, cheese, pizza crust, white bread, eggs etc.
Damn Morgan, only took 2 seconds but now I have Meatloaf stuck in my head 😆
I think you should keep the roughage, but change the greens to like fruits or nuts or something the dogs will likely to eat.
Nuts are toxic to dogs.
Love your videos Morgan you never fail to entertain 😂👍
Are you selling those duck / goose eggs? They sure are laying a lot all over the coop! The dog food game sure gives them a variety! Lucky furrbabies! They deserve it, for sure. ❤🤗
I love this idea!
My boy is super spoilt and loves baby food, yogurt and peanut butter in a kong or on a "licky mat". Or as a frozen treat.
I bet in summer your dogs would love some frozen treats with some fruits and veggies added.
I make bone broth quite a bit and keep it in freezer bags in the freezer. I use it to make dog treats. Cook oatmeal in bone broth and then feez it in Ice cube trays to make the frozen dog treats.
I loved seeing Abbey take out the steak and save it for last n laid down n relaxed while she mowed down on it.
This is such a cute idea. I wanna see more people doing this too!
Lil was just like, wow, that duck head doesn't smell enough like me!
i think what you're doing with the dogs food is really awesome, what a great way to make it interesting for them, as for the roughage could be worth either cooking or putting it in a blender and adding like that, might make it more appealing, i used to blend a mix of spinach, kale, carrots and bell peppers and my dogs loved it ♥
Going to be playing this with my dog and cat. I have a mastiff boxer mix. And she would have ate all 3 of those meals with zero hesitation. Thanks for the idea!
Starting your Easter egg hunt early I see. lol
Looks like the dogs are enjoying the food game.
Most of those possibilities my dog would like except she would not eat them frozen or ice cold. Warm Peas and carrots, cooked sweet potatoes covered in raw egg, yes. She would never eat them cold and frozen. The kibble, loaf and meats for sure would be her favorites.
this is such a great idea, might try it for my dogs birthday to give her a treat
I watched the breakfast part, but I must admit....I skipped the rest. This is the first video that didn't hold my attention. I feel terrible saying that bc I love your channel!!!! I'm a ride or die subscriber and I'll still be here despite this video😅 I look forward to the next one! ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
Our older dog eats plain non fat yogurt mixed with his kibble every day. His stools etc improved once off canned dog food. It’s simple and he loves it.
i like roll for dog food. you should put this in every video! like at the end or the beginning
My friend's pit bull LOVES vegetables. When you are cutting up veggies in the kitchen, he will be at your feet begging. He would have finished off all the ruffage mentioned in this video. Some of the more odd things I have seen him enjoy was pineapple cores and watermelon rind.
My husband’s Great Pyrenees hated peas! If he gave him a “stew type” dog food to mix with the kibble, when Cheyenne was done eating there would be perfectly clean, unbroken peas in the bottle of the bowl! He even got to the place where he counted the peas as they came out of the can. If there were 10 peas in the bowl at the beginning, there were 10 perfect peas left in the bowl!
Thanks for sharing!!
What amazing meals for Toby and Abby!❤
Why is feeding the dogs so much fun?!! Lol 😊
This dice game is fun, Abby and Toby weren't sure about it at first.but it must've been good.
It would be fun to see what the next roll will be. Toby is very trusting that you'll give him what he should eat. Abby only wants the good stuff. If you're watching them, I wonder if they think there's a pill in there somewhere 😮.
I loved watching the dog meal game! If anyone is grossed out by loaf, they should stay away from hot dogs haha.
Toby is such a good boy
Morgan, if you stand very close to your cows while brushing them, then if they kick, which is what I think you're afraid of, you are less likely to get hurt. Far away and you are within hoof strick, which hurts alot.
That was a great meal that the dogs got. Wow! They eat better than I do lol. God bless you Morgan and all those you love.
