I have one eye that is larger than the other and it has a drooping bottom lid, and that outer corner of the lid pours tears constantly and ruins my makeup almost all of the time, and it’s just that one eye in the outer corner! Thanks so much for the information! I sure appreciate your help!

Antibiotics was my saviour. Doc prescribed me anti bacterial eye drops but I took antibiotics voluntarily. Boom stopped in one day.
I think I have all five conditions just had my eyes examined for new glasses they gave me refresh tears. We’ll try to get some of those wipes to see if that helps. Thank you, Dr.
july 2023 my right eye randomly began watering profusely everyday all day, only briefly ceasing for a couple hours when i was distracted (movie, cleaning, etc). i also noticed slight swelling in my puncta, but no irritation. after numerous failed natural remedies and massaging techniques, i took it to God in prayer🙏🏽. i never visited an ophthalmologist bc i didn’t want to become reliant upon medication to live a normal life again. i got covid december 2023 so i boiled LEMON/ORANGE PEELS AND SALT in a pot of water. not only did that alleviate the covid symptoms, but by the next day, my tear production/draining rate was regulated!!🙌🏽looking back, there may have been an infection, but the lack of irritation confuses me🤔whatever it was, i thank God that’s over and i didn’t have to invest time and money on antibiotics and possible side effects. sharing this under vidoes i visited when i needed help to help others❤️
I’ve never had a problem with teary/ watery eyes till recently. I went to two eye drs.. one said I have small tear ducts?? I’m 52 and have never had a problem till recently.. the other says it could be allergies, that people can develop allergies over time. I use Pataday, and artificial tears.. but still teary eyes. It’s driving me crazy!!
I go back to the dr this week, so let’s see what they can do next . 🤷🏻♀️

Blepharitis! I think that's my issue. It's like I get little salt crystal-size crystals along the base of the eyelids, plus all that watery gunk! No one else has mentioned that! Thanks! I'm going to try some ocusoft.

Ohmigosh! You have the most beautiful eyes and eyelashes! They’re so enviably thick and long. You should be doing ads for Latisse! thanks for the info .. I had upper and lower bleph surgery and since I have a runny eye for the bottom lid is slightly loose. So it makes sense. The surgeon has stitched 🧵 it up to help but it still happens. Ugh.

I’ve had watery eyes for years. My right hand side is down right excessive, always wiping tears away, and it’s a nightmare with my makeup. Tried dry eye drops and changing makeup products and being very cautious with the cleaning of my eyes and removal of makeup, but nothing. Always have tears running down from the outer corners of my eyes
Have you been into an eye doctor? I wonder if you might have a clogged puncta? Hard to say.
@@DrEyeGuy I haven’t been to an eye doctor in almost three years now due to not having insurance or funds so I’ve had the same frames and RX since, but they did tell me that my lacrimal glands are “larger than normal” but they don’t know if they’re swelling or if it’s just their normal size but other than that no other feedback but to take drops that didn’t make a difference.
Same literally! I’ve had this issue for over 16 years and it’s literally the most annoying, I went to the eye doctor about 2 years ago and he said nothing is wrong but there clearly is😭
Same! 3 years of torture (I think I've tried everything on the market), 3 specialists in, a DCR + 1 year of monthly consultations after and nothing! Now, I'm supposed to get a CAT scan seeing as the DCR was a bust! I'm angry and frustrated that nothing is working and no one seems to be able to help! 😭PS I feel your pain ❤
Nothing helps at all.Doc just told me to use baby shampoo to clean my eyelids.....prescribed me eye drops etc.Had this for 2 years now and it is driving me crazy!!! Constant tears falling down my face...sore swollen eyelids....wake up in the night with my eye stinging and a release of tears!!!!

Thank you so very much! I've been having an issue with dry eyes and watering of my right eye when I started taking chemotherapy in 2016 for stage 4 breast cancer. Jesus healed me of this disease and I am now cancer free. I am now a year out of therapy and the first 6 months the tearing stopped. Now my right eye is tearing again. It's awful! I really want to get rid of it! This video was awesome information! If you have any thoughts please send them my way.
Good to hear about your recovery! I have had a few patients that have had chemotherapy and it affected their meibomian glands in their eyelids. Have you had your meibomian glands checked out?

While pruning cedars, I accidentally poked my left eye with the tip of a cedar branch. It was quite inflamed and when it finally seemed to settle down would actually flare up again from time to time. I visited an eye specialist who informed me, he could see nothing wrong with the eye. This was at least 10 years ago. Today that eye is very sensitive when I first open it in the morning and will water profusely when I go from a warm environment to a cool one. I can’t help but believe something in that cedar encounter has left me with this situation.

Hey thanks. I never had this until I got to be 68 years old. I got an exam from an eye MD and he said my eyes look fine! What!!! So this is a very complicated mess!
When I go outside, I get a tear from my left eye only. Facing this issue since 6 years. Not sure if the duct is blocked or not. If the duct is blocked in left eye, I should face this issue at home as well. Right? What can be the reason and how can I stop it?

Anything you can do to block that air hitting your eye. Ive had some patients wear a sleep mask to protect their eyes. Some taped some tissue in the corner of the mask.

I was diagnosed by a local eye specialist that i have a blocked tear duct in my right eye only which needs surgery as I have a recurrent infection which keeps on coming , could you please suggest something that I don't have to go for surgery
Have they tried irrigation and drainage? Sometimes being able to push saline solution through the duct can help.

This was very helpful. I have been diagnosed with Blepharitis. And use warm compress/Cliradex wipes, but it's not helping. Prior to that I tried massaging my inside corner of the eye and was prescribed antibiotic eye drops, which as I recall seemed to clear it up. I'm wondering now, if my recent Blepharitis diagnosis was wrong and it's actually blocked tear ducts. And, my right eye is far more affected, the left eye is almost normal. hmmmm.. Getting a second opinion on cataract surgery in May, will ask the new eye doctor. This video helped me be informed in what to ask. This was a great video
Glad it helped. I just had a patient with a clogged tear duct that needed to be flushed, so it's a good possibility that could be the case.
I just wish I could find an eye doctor like Neal "Dr Eye Guy". The one's I've gone to don't explain any of these eye issues. They just prescribe some medication but don't try and address the real cause. I'm so frustrated with dealing with my runny eye condition. It's been hell!

I found that my fan in my room that when I watch movies.. that my eyes don’t get enough exercise to focus in or out.. plus my fan gets a bit scrunggy… take care of your eyes.. I’m 65.. and see dam near perfect till I get lazy

I have thyroid problem usually thyroid problem causes dry eye which I suffer with too and sounds like you do too. You can get dry eye drops to help or go to the doctor and get some drops for the eyes

Hi, thanks for the question. I wouldn't think the higher power of the contact would cause the watery eyes...at least that wouldn't be my first thought. I would more look into other caused, maybe the material of the contacts. Possibly causing something called gpc?

My eyes are continously watering. It is frustrating. Vision gets blurry and my eyes are very red. Never had this problem before. Saw a specialist and she checked my tear ducts. She flushed water into my tear ducts and I could feel it in my throat. What a strange feeling. She said the tear ducts were not too bad. I used antibiotic drops in my eyes. I was told to use tears without preservatives . I am going for a follow up in 3 months. Lately though I have noticed my vision is blurry in the mornings. Not from tears. Feels like my vision is being affected. I have gone to the eye doctor. Eveything appears fine. Why are my eyes getting worse. Also taking Omega 3. She told me to ta,e that supplement. I am lost, hating this condition. Help.

@@my_moods_4892 Hi, went for a follow up. The specialist prescribed allergy drops. Been using them but it isn't working either. I still. Get up in the morning and my vision is blurry.i have to put more drops in. It is horrible. I go shopping and everything is blurry. Constantly wiping my eyes. In a month if nothing has changed she is going to put plugs in my tear ducts. If that doesn't work, I will have the corner of my eyelids cut and raised so the tears flow easily. But then, risk of infection. A couple of black eyes for weeks. I just don't know anymore. Never had this problem before. I am so frustrated.

Hi there I suffer with dry eyes and seasonal allergies for years and it mostly effects one eye at a time and never both lol at the moment my left is is very bad itchy and watering a lot I’ve started to take antihistamine and dry eye drops so in answer to your question yes it can effect just one eye hope this helps

Sorry to hear this. Are you to the point where surgery is the only option to open the puncta? If that is the only solution then I would lean towards getting it done.
Hi doc! I had a dcr surgery 11/22/22 and I thought that it had failed since I am still experiencing tearing in only my left eye (I got into a bad accident and since then I’ve only had tearing in my left eye). I had a consultation with another doctor and he ran saline through the duct and said there was no blockage and the surgery looked perfect. He then suggested it may be dry eye but this just doesn’t seem right. Any advice, or recommendations? Thank you!

Mine seem to water pretty bad right when I lie down to sleep. Whether or not I’ve used drops or not. It’s annoying. Nobody wants a wet pillow.
Main reason for this is because when you are tilted to the side laying down, the tears in your eyes drain down the side, instead of the inner corner eyelid where the puncta is. Are talking a soaked pillow of tears??

I've tried everything. My watery eyes are horrific.....I've had punctal irrigation and even had punctal expanders put in....nothing helped. of course all this was after restasis and xydra were of no help either. I recently bought the pataday extra strength and have been using for 2 weeks but I notice no difference at all....I'm so wishing someone could find a reason and fix it for me. At my wits end. :(
wow... this sounds tricky. Have you tried different eye makeup? Are you using any eyelash makeup or eyelash extensions? I'm guessing you have already checked on this.
I have watery eyes but kept wiping the tears off (Under eye) and now my skin around eye is red. Help
This is a common annoying problem. The salt and sometimes bacteria from the tears will start to irritate the skin. You can use cream, sometimes steroid cream or antibiotic cream to help with the irritation. Try all that you can do to figure out why you eye is watering.
i have dry eye and wake up with mucose "gunk"in my eyes. What about the old fashioned way of filling a shot glass with clean tap or distilled water, placing it over the eye and opening the eye and blinking letting the eye be bathed in water
There are other better ways to clean your eyes.

My son was born with abnormal tear ducts. There shaped differently according to his eye surgeon. He’s had 2 surgeries and it didn’t work. There still watery. He’s 19 and it’s driving him nuts. His surgeon wants to use botox. Is this a good or bad idea?
I have hear of botox working for that, so it is a feasible option. Sorry to hear this. Has it been watery his whole life?
No. He had 2 surgeries at 6 months and 18 months for lazy eyes. I think it’s been happening since he was 15 and he’s now 19.
