Just got my V30 two weeks ago. Such a nice phone. Had two Galaxy notes 3 and 4 and was looking at the note 8. Did some research on the V30 and was sold on it. Then went to TMobile to buy one. When I was ready to pay, the salesman asked me, "we have a promo, 2 for price of one just pay tax on second one, interested?" Oh yeah!!!! For everyone reading this, it is a very nice phone. And the headphone DAC (digital to analog converter) is a plus! Forgot to mention....it is 5g ready!
If you do your slo mo in manual mode (set the resolution and framerate manually), you get a higher bitrate of 48MBit/s, at least on the G6. I'd imagine it being the same on the V30
Can u cover front facing cam in detail in your next video ... Mainly the still photos in low lights and day lights ... briefly covering all modes present in front facing Cam ...
I find that the V30 kicks up the ISO excessively in low light conditions.... I would prefer a lower shutter speed using the OIS to maintain clarity, i think my S7 did a better job is this category. And the selfie camera is literally not an option when it comes to quality, i have resorted to using the wideangle main camera and using the "CHEESE" function to capture selfies.... awkward but the picture quality is far superior.
Hi, I am not savyy in this technology. I have this type/model telephone. But the back arrow in the camera mode has disappeared, how can I fix this? I tried restarting the phone yet it did not work. Any help is greatly appreciated.
after a year of using the LG V30 the camera itself was great and it was awesome. However, when i update the os to the latest android version it slowed the phone down substantially .
buddy if u made this video earlier than others. i'd buy v30 instead of s8. I liked the customized cam system of v30. and the wide angle is super cool. feeling bad.

slow mo is totally useless unless its minimum 1080p and high bitrate, also those video filers you call them...they are not just normal filters put over the top of the video your recording either way I will not be buying any new mobile phone unless it does 4k 60fps and better slowmotion in 1080p

Slow motion stayed a little distorted in resolution?
How do you do long exposure shots? To get those shots where on a highway rather than seeing a cars, you see long streaks of light?

No he wasn't using any camera app. This is the default camera setup for lg smartphones

You would have to edit the video, either on the computer or maybe a mobile app

One thing... THOSE ARE NOT FILTERS... They are true LUTS applied to the camera on the fly. There's a world of difference between LUTS and filters
