Today I will be showing you how I flatten my warped/buckling watercolor paintings with this easy tutorial. All you need is some water and watercolor pad. I like the Canson XL paper because you can get the larger size for very little cost compared to other brands.
Materials you will need:
Your watercolor painting
Glass of water
Brush (any size really but the bigger the better)
Cheap watercolor paper pad

Thank you, this tip is clever! I never thought to wet the back of the paper before flattening it. I think I have a giant canson wc pad like that one somewhere in my closet that will work perfect😂
Yes wetting the back is the key as it gets it completely flat. If not I find it will still have some ripples 😃
