The simmering effect is giving it away from miles ahead
Not an issue because you can do the same action as your illusion and effectively use your illusion as a hiding spot.

it's deadass gotten like 90% of killers i've tried it on, and paired with lightfoot i can just pop it on a gen during a chase and instantly escape
The shimmer is not on from the killer point of view. It used to be in the PTB, but they buffed it to make it look like an actual survivor from the killer side (unsure if it still has some very small shimmer, but if it does it is 100% less intense than what you see from the survivor view)
See this has some usage, just needs to be more convincing.
1. Remove the shimmering effect when further than 6m
2. If used, it plays the audio of the selected action, and moves as if it was normal.
3. The above changes are all it NEEDS. As an added buff, add the effect "if your aura would be revealed, reveal the illusion instead" but reduce the timer to 90 seconds (or 60 if thats still too much)
Not every perk needs to be the maximized buff of itself.
would be usable if the perk actually did the sound of the action + on the killer's side itd look normal

seems kinda stupid with the massive amounts of shimmering. the only thing it does is say you’re near by. i suppose you could try hiding in the illusion
Makes it essentially a 50/50. And if the killer always checks the illusion you have a great distraction tool.
@@gianglai7346you can easily tell if someone is in it because the illusion doesn’t have animations but you do while working on gens
True, I feel like for exit gates you could hide in the illusion and the killer will see the glimmer and fuck off to the other gate, seems veryyyyy situational
Note: the illusion does not shimmer from a distance. You have to be pretty close to notice it.

I caught alot of killers with this mirrored illusion, they fell for it everytime
Really sick idea, but I don't see this perk doing anything that'd help out in any way
It's for the funnsies and I think that meme perks are healthy for the game to spice things up

@@gianglai7346 The thing is even as a meme perk it doesn't work, because if the killer isn't an NPC there is no possible way he'll give the slightest thought about it after seeing it once.
I wish this perk reset when finishing the generator. The image remains until a killer damages it or it runs out, this prevents you from accumulating another charge while its on a completed gen.
Would be very useful if the perk actually did things.. while in effect, increases speed of caster by like 5%-- or if left alone, it'll eventually complete the task on it's own. I know it's an illusion-- but that doesn't mean make it into an illusion of an actual perk. lol And it doesn't even have to be a good speed, like a 3rd of regular speed. lol
That's a meme perk with no use whatsoever. The foggy effect immediately gives it away.
Should add the ability to send a running projection of yourself so SWF can spam 4 decoys in every direction.
I really don't understand why there is a simmering affect basically makes the perfect more useless than It already is

It look useful, but with blur and motionless effect, the killer will ignore it and make survivor has 1 perkless slot for 120 sec, well i think it only work if the killer far away to see the illusion

I thought this would be a fun little troll perk, but this looks terrible. Remove the shimmer, then we'll be in business.
Great perk idea, terrible execution; what’s the point of this perk if the killer can literally see the blur effect that clearly tells it’s an illusion?? Has to be most garbage perk to ever be released
shut the fk up , just play ! It can only distinguish between real and fake when the killer is close enough, if far away it completely looks like a normal survivor (8m).
They think players are D&D NPCs.
I have no clue what this perk can do. If it can cause zombies to be distracted and chase them, then okay but still this perk seems like a waste over any other perk in the entire game. Like any other one

Yes but the sounds of generators working, chests opening, cleansing, etc. do give it away.
technically you could just stop working hid in it.

This looks like the most useless perk in the game, but I appreciate them branching out into new concepts, and this perk's failure shouldn't deter them from doing more like this in the future
Saddest part is that if they removed the shimmer effect it would be a usable perk...
