    This is one place where I have to give RUclips some credit. That 4,000 hours goal and 1k sub goal really go hand-in hand. 4000 hours seems like a lot but with 1k subs that's a single person watching 20 minutes of your content a month. Becomes a lot less insurmountable when you break it down like that.

I did it, now it's your turn ❣️ Do a small home video with subject related content and you bring the voice for your viewers. Then decide how and what need to be changed for the others. Most helpful for me was the reinforcement that “a video you can’t listen you can’t watch” which is true because I often will close my screen but keep listening to videos (like this one) while I move around the house. Also great is the concept of making a video long enough to cover average watch rate (e.g., 30%). Third best thing, no random videos!

  • @WayIntoAdventures
    @WayIntoAdventures 2 года назад

    The most helpful thing was the statistics you provided. It exactly follows what we have been seeing on our channel. We don't have a channel that EVERYONE would like to visit, so we have to try hard to make videos that people like us would like to see (people that travel off of the beaten path, or visit out of the way places). I think it is normal to be a little sad when people don't watch an entire video, but what you said shows that it's not even normal for people to watch the whole video. So we just need to be patient and think about things we can do inside of the video that keep our YT friends engaged.

    These tips are so useful! Thank you so much! We are making videos for two years now and we really enjoy it, but we do hope to grow and to one day make RUclips our side hustle. This helps a lot! We appreciate you, we have been watching so much of your videos and we have been growing 🤗

    Thanks Roberto! It’s great that my workout channel is inherently evergreen content, but i am also considering adding trending themes (e.g. Escaping Squid Games Workout)

    I’m at work but watched the whole video but I’ll be coming back to this video again. Good info. I’m not concerned about going viral. I just wanna make good videos with relevant info as updates come in. I’m always in discord’s and Twitter looking out for updates on my specific content

    Great advice! I already got monetized, but this is an excellent reminder of how to grow on youtube. The tip about not doing random videos is especially important. 👌

    I've never heard this conveyed so effectively!

    It helps to have a clear vision especially when you explained the evergreen content vs focus content.

    03:21 "This is gonna help you realize what's normal." - I swear I needed to hear this. There are many useful videos on RUclips about watch hours but none set realistic goals. I immediately subscribed. Thank you, sir!

    I’ll use epidemic sounds as well for the exact reasons that you mention, the best takeaways that I got from this video were increasing my video duration without patting the video as well as focusing on contact that will be relevant in the future instead of randomness, which I admittedly I am at fault. Great vid

    You always seem to have the answers I'm looking for. Started following you a couple years ago and got some great advice from the video at the time even though I wasn't ready to commit to the hardwork that it takes. Now though, I'm teaching this wonderful language of Garifuna and my favorite part of this video is that you've included the structure and strategy needed to take the only Garifuna language channel on RUclips to the highest levels and I'm so appreciative of that.

    Your advice about the differences between Quality and Value is one of the most valuable things I've learned. It's such a small thing but many creators (including me) believe them to be the same thing

    Thanks for this video! I appreciated your thoughts on both quality and having content that provides value. As a new RUclipsr, I try not to worry so much about my numbers but rather look at the quality of my videos from both a content and production perspective. This stuff is not easy for sure (but it's usually a lot of fun!
