I bought the 2021 Nissan Rogue in the SV trim because I don’t want all the bells and whistles and I believe it’s a better value for what you get. I love it. I have nothing but good things to say about it. My wife ended up getting the 2021 Nissan Rogue in the platinum trim and she loves it more then any car she has ever owned. We both have them in the AWD and the vehicle do so good in the snow. We live in Salt Lake and we have had at least 3 storms this year with 2-3 ft of snow each time and these things just take it and smile. I used the snow mode although I don’t know if I really needed too. The seats are so comfortable, especially on long drives, and the pro pilot assist is so awesome. You forgot the heads up display on the platinum trim which my wife absolutely adores. Yes it doesn’t do 100 miles an hour in 2 seconds but if you’re looking for a crossover suv you are looking for a family vehicle and not a race car. Would highly recommend it to everyone. Can all of you vehicle reviewrs stop always testing the top trims. That's not what most people will buy, stop showing features that are on available on the top trims. Also I want to point out the Platinum is built in Japan whereas all the lower level trims are made in the USA.
Why is every automaker beating the front end of their vehicles with an ugly stick? No CVT for me no matter how good someone else may think it is. All this tech for everyone who wants to play on their phone instead of paying attention when they are driving just irritates me. Why should I be forced to pay for something I don't use. Why the excitement over wireless charging? I charge my phone once a week when I am sleeping so it isn't a big deal. Just more things they can make you pay extra for.
I do drive an old Ford with no tech and it also has a manual transmission. It does have electric locks and windows and both need worked on. I usually leave my phone at the house when I go somewhere and if I do listen to the radio it is usually AM. I don't use GPS either. I don't have a flip phone, but it is the one you get for free for signing up. I pay $35 a month for my service. I don't care that they offer that crap, but I shouldn't have to be forced to buy it.

As someone with relatively big hands I also think the shifter is a bit big. Press to park also hits me the wrong way. Making me stare at the shifter every time I park.
Nice honest review. I have a Platinum (just purchased) and with regards to the parallel parking issue (your last “con” - camera shutting off when engaging drive), I found that when the car is close to the curb, the camera turns on automatically regardless of gear choice and one of two color bars show you the distance to the curb. Very cool and helpful.
I feel like Nissan and Mitsubishi only exist to sell cars to people who have literally $0 to put down on a car and are willing to overpay on sticker price for the "GREAT DEAL!!" of 0% interest which means the margin is already baked in. For $38k for a 5 seater it makes more sense to order a Tesla Model Y standard for $40k... double the acceleration, eliminate all that noise, nearly eliminate maintenance cost (still need brakes and inspections), and significantly reduce fuel costs. ...probably has better storage because of the frunk too. Jill, gotta rent you a Tesla Model Y for a week! (after installing a 14-50 dryer plug in your garage tho ;)

Only Apple CarPlay is wireless on the 9-inch head unit. Android Auto is still wired.

99% of the vehicles we get are high trims. Nothing we can do about that.

Lol the “kick to open” is a hit or miss. Cadillac put a light that beams onto the ground in the their SUV’s so you exactly where to kick.
