@@DJBuenafe Are you God? How do you know? Millions of people have bought all over the world and holding. Even Mark Cuban recommended that GME share holders hold their shares if they can afford to.
@@braetonwilson4296 Nobody knows, but "holding" has nothing to do with stock price.
Buying drives price higher. Selling pushes price lower. The relative difference between shares for sale ("ask") and shares being requested ("bid") determines the direction the price will move. All that is just short term (which has been referred to as the market is "a voting machine" or "a popularity contest"). In the long term it all depends on how well the company is doing in their day to day business - revenues, profits, growth - and the market participants weigh those ("a weighing machine") to determine the long term trend of buying vs. selling vs. holding. Gamestop used to pay a dividend to encourage holding. They cannot presently afford to do that with their current operational challenges. Hopefully their new direction has positive results, but if things continue for the company has it has, they won't be around for too much longer.
Good luck.

I must give credit to Nissan for trying to improve their vehicles. The interior of this Rogue and the interior of other Nissan vehicles like the 2021 Sentra etc. are class leading, especially with the zero gravity seats. Plus I know a lot of people who love the Nissan Pro-Pilot active driver tech. Exterior looks a lot better too.
Its definitely one of the biggest automotive turn arounds I've ever seen. The 2010s was kinda the era to stay away from Nissans from how junk they were. @@boarhog1979 No, it’s not fine. From the way they respond to how often they break, it’s a problem. Doesn’t have to be a sports car to have a decent transmission. They aren't all as bad as Jatco, and some (toyota's planetary gear CVTs which they I think now are calling "eCVT") are durable so as long as you don't mind the different sound and feel compared to a geared transmission, they can be fine and do improve fuel economy. Shop carefully.

“Dude, your getting a Renault”
As an European, all I can say that Renault massively improved their interiors as well as reliability in recent years (they consistently end up in top 10 most reliable car manufacturers in european reliability indexes) and also offer a lot of nice things for the money (and also the best handling FWD hot hatches on the market, but they've been known for that for quite a while now), so "Dude, you're getting a Renault" nowadays is far from being an insult here. Don't know however why is Nissan still using the CVT, Renault uses Getrag DCTs and these are just good gearboxes.
LOL
@@arekb5951 some DCT’s are coming to Nissans in the European market. If anything it must be a money concern cause you have to allocate a lot of resources to transition to a new technology
@@air-headedaviator1805 nahhh, it's because of emissions standards in Europe.
Those are dri clutch gearboxes, so that means after 100,000miles most likely a clutch change which isn't expensive, but after 200,000miles it's up to the car lords what happens to that gearbox.
@@arekb5951 Getrag DCT is what I have nightmares about, they only gave them for emissions which is why they don't dare bring them in the USA.
If you want a European car your getting yourself a Peugeot/Fiat/Volkswagen, anything else is just beaten by the Japanese and more recently for cheaper the Koreans.

Nissan is right about the features for value. You can’t even get a pano roof or 360° cam on a CRV, and on the RAV4 it’s built into much more expensive packaging.
Who needs reliability when you can get features and value, right?
@@rosgoncharuk2403 I read the same reports you did and bought one anyway as a cheap suv to get around town, figuring it was worth the risk given the warranty period. But guess what? Over 3 years and 50k miles now and zero issues whatsoever. So yea, working for me just fine.
@@caglioso so what you're saying is that it didn't break under warranty? I guess that's a success.
Even if yours lasts fine for 50 more or till you drop it, there would be someone going to dealership all the times. So basically, you just got lucky in a hit or miss.
@@rosgoncharuk2403 its possible, and the warranty on the trans is now 10 yr 120k miles, which is more than sufficient for anything i could possibly imagine. Plus when you consider the direct competitors the rogues reliability doesnt seem much worse, apart from the n/a rav which is very uninspiring and much more expensive. The hybrid Rav has a fuel tank issue that ruins the mpg and still hasnt been corrected which completely voids the point of having a hybrid, and the CRV still has the oil dilution issue which appears unfixable and can easily destroy the engine.
@@caglioso How would a fuel tank issue ruin the mpg? Even if it holds less fuel, mpg wouldn’t change. Similarly for oil dilution, how would it destroy the engine and render it unfixable?

To me, the current CVTs from Nissan aber among the best transmissions there are. Especially when towing, using it with AWD in snow or when driving in the mountains, the grade of refinement is just way ahead of any traditional automatic transmission. I think 99% of the complains people have with those modern CVTs is, that it's just different. If you spend a bit of time with it and actually use it, you will quickly learn that it will do a LOT of stuff other transmissions can not.
I agree. I think it has been stereotyped from past units. People get on a bandwagon about them. If you want to drive the hell of the car then get a sports car instead

Wow, have to admit, Nissan surprised me with the interior design, tech and safety system for that price. I would never buy one, but do wish more car companies would offer similar.
Will you be reviewing the twin 2022 Outlander? Mitsu SWAC?
My gf used to have a 2008 Rogue, until she got T-Boned at a little over 130k miles. It got totalled but saved her life. It was also the cheapest vehicle to own and maintain you could imagine. It NEVER broke. Ever. We had to have the AC compressor rebuilt (350$), replaced brakes, shocks and exhaust as you'd expect in Canada. The only hiccup was when a rock blew a hole in the AC condenser, which was quickly replaced.
It was a no-frills car, but for what it did, it was amazingly reliable and practical.
No cvt transmission issues? Sounds like you guys kept up with the maintenance. I hear every 30k change the transmission fluid. Nice I might try to get this new one with Costco discount for a couple grand off or might try a 2019-2020 model.

Haha.
Super easy, barely an inconvenience.
Mark, Great job as always, the reason you see so many Mitsubishi stampings on this new Rogue, is because the new Mitsubishi Outlander is also going to be on this platform/chassis. Mitsubishi's new Outlander will be revealed later on this month. I was wondering is this new Rogue made in Japan? I know you tested the Outlander Sport, but I am talking about the "larger" Outlander. the last generation Mitsubishi Outlander was truly made in Japan, and you were able to get the Outlander in GT trim with a V6 with a true torque converter six speed automatic, the lower trims had Mitsubishi's 4 cylinder with sadly a CVT. I test drove both, the CVT was improved compared to previous years, but still had that rubber band feeling, The V6 with the six speed automatic was really smooth and moved well, Mitsubishi had great discounts, I didn't buy because I am more of a car guy, but also I knew a nice refreshed Honda Ridgeline was coming and I hope you revisit the Ridgeline, it seems very promising and Honda made improvements, so probably will buy Ridgeline as the "All purpose" vehicle. Will be interesting to see if the Mitsubishi version of the new Outlander sticks to a CVT, I hope not, but I have a bad feeling.

I'm a performance oriented guy. I've owned cars most people only dream of. My wife has owned two Rogue's, a 2018 SV and a the 2021 Platinum. So far the Rogue has been one of the most reliable vehicles I've ever owned. We haven't put a ton of miles on either one, but you put me behind the wheel of anything and I will break it for you within a thousand miles, and so far it hasn't been the case with either Rogue. For what it is, the Platinum Rogue is probably the most feature-rich vehicle you can buy for the money. Yes the engine performance is just barely there, but it's enough for what this vehicle is meant to be. What else can you get for under $40k that gets 32 MPGs and loaded with this much tech? Unless you're reading this 5 years from now, currently nothing.
Same here. I didn't expect this thing to hold up as well as it has. It's honestly quite impressive for the price. Also I live in Canada and the rogue is great in the snow.

Great channel guys, I've watched a ton of your vidz.
I've narrowed my 2021 choices to the; Rogue, Rav4, CRV, and the CX5.
But now I'm stuck.
- While the CX5 has the best body, the infotainment system sucks.
- The CRV seems like the obvious choice, but its ugly.
- The RAV4 is a top rival, but the infotainment system sucks, and its ugly.
