Tired of ppl crying about the cvt. Most everyday consumers of these types of cars don't even know what a cvt is. You're complaining about something you never had any intentions of purchasing.
Excellent point. Personally, I'm no fan of CVT's but in vehicles like the Rogue and other compact crossovers their advantages are clear. Particularly in terms of fuel efficiency where most consumers place a far higher priority on economy than on scalding performance.
I don’t get it either... my last two vehicles (Subaru) have had cvt’s and I haven’t had an issue so far.
CONTINOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION, ITS CRAP!!!
@@frederickwatkins2017 don't buy a car with a cvt then. Simple.
@@DOOGAART oh, I wont
The V grill is begging for vinyl treatment. Chrome has been out a long time and anything else is better than chrome. Looks like a promising ride so Im curious what the Pathfinder will bring. If it is anything like the Rogue, I bet it'll look like a big brother.
I am sure they will have some kind of blacked out edition.
No chrome is better. Blacked out looks like crap
Just purchased the 2023 Platinum and I love it, I have zero problem's
Nissan introduced the split head light design with the Nissan Juke. Everyone else just followed..
Thank you for the really detailed video. I was waiting for this video since July. I cannot wait to lease it!!
Thank you lorie and joe great job ❤️
You are so very welcome!
😁🙏
I like videos this time because you have more details about 360 camera from SUV.Keep doing it Raiti! Thanks.
Thank you so much for saying that!
Nice going Nissan! Everyone will have to step up their game!
This is very true!
Do the research, buy Toyota or Mazda!
Currently have a 2017 rogue model. If they keep improving definitely will stick with rogue for the near future.
Exactly how I feel!! I have a 2017 and may want to trade in and get a 2021 when the 2022 comes out!
I February I rented a 2020 Rogue and found it average, in looks and driving dynamics, with VERY cheap looking interiors. This one looks light years better - inside and out.
Joe please keep down on the sweets, as a diabetic you keep tempting me with the Twinkies, the glazed donuts, and assorted candy bars! 😂
16:19
12:07 I like that you were careful to mention the "soft" part.
Thanks for letting me share it!
I screamed when I fast forwarded to 12:09 to see the interior and heard this 🤣🤣🤣🤣
LMAO!
raiti you da man brotha!
“I got 12 inches over here” Raiti is such a legend
Thanks for letting me share the laughs and the SUVs with you!
Thought I was the only one who caught on haha
I love the way you review the interior with the snacks references. LOL
Thanks man!
I love it, I'm a big fan of this nissan rogue, i wasn't able to buy the 2019 rogue, but hopefully I will with this 2021 rogue
There's still a lot of things you didn't mention, like pro pilot assistant, subwoofer that holds the spare tire, same way you can open the trunk with your leg you can close it, remote start etc etc etc... my wife own the same model and color and she loves it. Thanks for that review.
I love that interior. It looks like Nissan finally threw away the crayons. Still a CVT though. 😖
not just any cvt, its XTronic CVT 😁
DevilDog 53 Some of the people that lease them don’t care
DevilDog 53 yeah only Cx5 come to mind...how does the new Escape drives
@@tinhinnh speaking of transmissions, Fords been having trouble with theirs in the new explorer, not really sure about the escape
@DevilDog 53 Midsize definitely Wrangler or Bronco.
Or go straight Truck
We just ordered an SL 2021 Rogue, thanks for the video, and the area looks nice
Congrats Patricia!
The CX-5 would like to have a word with you
This is very true.
@Jaciee87 ironic you say that when Nissan struggling much more than mazda
Jaciee87 Nissan is losing money as we speak even before the coronavirus, Nissan is downsizing there presence
Joskj j atleast not as worse as FCA

Nissan, even in it current state, still outsell Mazda's by a large margin...
Two years ago today! Thinking of buy one.
Great car and great review love it!!
Thanks Bryer! I appreciate you letting me share it with you!
Did you have problems with CVT after two years?
Over here in South Africa the Rogue is called a Xtrail..I own the 2.5 petrol version 2016 model...i own a 2013 VW cc and an a 2015 Infiniti Q50 20t ...but I love my Xtrail more!!!
Thanks for sharing that great info!
Same In Europe , it’s called Xtrail in most countries worldwide
Just hope we will have the exactly same feature when they bring the 2021xtrail here in SA.
You are the Best in the way you explain all......Very good job............
Its a nice looking SUV, but that CVT though... I have a '15 Altima that had to get the CVT replaced at only 90,000 miles, and I had the CVT fluid changed at 60k miles.
I am so sorry to hear about that experienece!
Lori Rocks....you are not too bad either! LOL Great content!!
Love the new interior and exterior! But why does Nissan keep using that CVT?? I’d also like to see a turbocharged engine as well. If they could do those 2 things they would have my interest peaked.
Or bump the hp to... at the very least 200 or so. That’s part of the problem. Not enough power to push that cvt.
Why do they keep using them? Because they own Jatco the people who make them
Premium fuel for Turbo's. This is cheap to drive
Thanks, Raiti for another great video! You have the best review videos for vehicles, entertaining with great humor. Lori showing you some love, Thanks for all you do to help Joe with filming, etc!
I'm liking this too. I appreciate the video. TFS and Nice job Lori😎
You are so very welcome. Thanks for letting us bring it to you!
You showing out with all the new vehicles... I love it
"Keep the peepers and the creepers out of your business that's in the backseat" ;)
An absolute stellar review my friend. You are my go to for car reviews!!! YOU ROCK!!!
Nissan started that split headlight design.
Go search Pontiac Aztec.
We (wife and I) were about to purchase the 2021 Murano (would have been our 2nd Murano and 7th Nissan over the years)...she dropped a bomb on me and said she wanted better gas mileage than the Murano-models give: "a Rogue", she said...after my heart palpitations/arrhythmia subsided I looked (peeked) at the new 2021 Rogue...did not want the same old "mouse-car" look. Surprised was I, WHAT A CHANGE and great ratings were before me. Bottom line: we purchased the 2021 SL with Premium Package instead of the Platinum ( did not need a HUD or quilted seats, and a couple more of it's items). We love it: Nissan Number Seven sits in our garage next to "my" Frontier SL. Who ever said that the 2.5L motor is underpowered is full of (bull). They have never driven this motor recently...give her the gun and dang-well-better-be-holding-the-wheel! Excellent review RR!! Thanks for you help/input!
Hi Joe, thanks for the detailed review. Would you know if they have a new transmission on this new vehicle? Historically Nissan has a rap for bad transmission. Thanks.
It is a CVT but has been upgraded.
2022 model will have new transmission and turbo charged 1.5L i3. Increased HP torque and better gas mileage. Go with the 22 model for $650 more than 21 model
