      Thank you, Ian. It's such an expansive piece that it's easy to get "lost in the woods" and end up playing it for half an hour without much repetition. A four minute video requires massive editing on the fly.

    A common song that my dad played at Finnish festivals on the Iron Range as did several other performers at Iron World . I grew up on this song in the early 60s as a kid. Gaelynn Lea from Duluth does a very different version of it on her violin. I request it each time I see her.

    One of my favourite pieces ot play in the accordion, wonderful interpetation on the melodeon! I love how you managed to get rid of the semitone mordents and still make it work!

      I have many ways to keep the spirit of the tune without having the half steps in the upper octave...and find more over time. For me, Music is the thing, notes are
      (often) optional/negotiable.
      Keep true to the spirit!!!
