If that skylight ever leaks try using a product called Solar Seal. It's what they use on windows and roofs and solar panels. It's better than caulk in almost everyway. It's waterproof with in 30 minutes of application and is completely set in 1-3 days based on humidity and temperature. Nice bus!

I've been watching your channel for a while now, and it's literally my favorite for skoolie buses! Not to mention I'm from Oregon too and you're just a super cool guy! I love your little home! It seems to have everything you need, and I'm excited to see what you do to rebuild in the future. My dream is to do a skoolie conversion someday. I've been single for about 7 years now and I don't want to wait until I have a partner to get out and see more of the world. I love to travel and see new places, but I'm also very much a homebody and hate leaving my fur babies. So I think this would be the perfect solution for me to see more of our beautiful country while being able to come HOME every night. I think it's brilliant that you turned your passion into a business. Thanks so much for sharing your little home as well as all the others you've featured! Wishing you happy happy traveling!!!👍🚎😉

Not true at all. The health hazards, from leaving the original insulation, are deadly.
That being said, spray foam is no better bcuz it attracts and creates mold.
Blinds can be made for the windows very easily and have an R-value.
Sheep wool insualtion is the absolute only way to go

Great inspiring video. Excellent job on this first build. You made a beautiful, functional space with everything you need. Your lessons learned--do's and don'ts--super helpful. Happy travels.

This was a very nice tour and, I liked it a lot. That's why I want to get a short school bus van to live in. I love all of the windows so I can bring the outside inside. That's a perfect size bus for me and, my 2 cats. I like the roof top patio except I'd put some railings on it so you don't fall off.

Hello Isaac :)- Great thought put into your build and a pleasure seeing what you have created and well put together!!! Kudos :)- I am now in the same place in life as where you were right before you bought your schoolie and honestly scared $h*tless. I have always had a plane and NOW...yet again, I have been thrown an absolute curve-ball. I don't have any friends unlike yourself but I am asking the Universe to grant me the strength that I need to get through this situation.

This showed up in my feed today and I was so glad because I remembered you from a couple years back when you just started out then it was a few weeks in a van. Its like bumping into an old friend. Glad to see the progress and growth in your life. I did not subscribe at the time so I've missed out on a lot. Guess I'll have to go back and binge watch so I can catch up. Kudos and congrats for all you've accomplished in the past few years.

The best set-up for a kitchen sink I've ever come across is a gravity system. I like the big jug sitting atop the counter with a spout and handle that twists on and off. You can't get simpler than that. No need for a pump at all. I've used this type before and love it.

Love the tour, learned a lot! Love the top deck. I started looking at tiny houses & I still like them but I think the short bus is what will work for me. Great video. Thx

Well, you made a good example for "being individual" as though I completely understand your feelings about a more open concept for that more room feel I love the closets. I'd maybe have a smaller bed situation then move closets back a bit. I also like a little sound barrier if someone is watching TV when I go to bed. But it is like you pointed out, it's after you live in one for awhile that you realize the rathers and shouldn't have. Whatever you decide will be awesome I'm confident.
