Does the knife cut or scratch the paint when you remove the vinyl? Do you have a technique you follow when cutting? I’m curious I’d like to try a wrap myself
If you’re holding the knife like a pencil rest your middle finger on the body panel so you can just adjust your index finger and thumb to control the cutting height/piercing amount. You ideally want just the very tip of the blade to cut but make sure you use your middle fingers or ring finger to stay on the body panel
Anyone that does vinyl/ppf for a living knows you digging into the paint you arent even using another finger for a support and are using a carbon 35 degrees blade so extra sharp
Mercedes and bmw drivers are the only people to do fake carbon fiber and nobody can prove me wrong. Even the cheapass Hondas got carbon fiber hoods lol

Yeah no lmao simple sideway stretch removes all those fingers up top and makes it much easier and safe to instal w 0 chance of lifting.
