Great handling! Carbon fiber vinyl is way thicker than the regular "oracal" you would use. Kudos for that awesome work! I am trying to wrap a thinner spoiler and it is driving me nuts!

Nice job it came out great but I was a little scared for you cutting the excess off you got so close to the clear coat, am doing mines next week am gonna follow some of your technique.
thanks, you can see the knife is flat to the body panel and also only the tip of the blade is being used, theres no chance of it touching the paint, you can see my other hand keeping the knife at the right place, for a clean a cut

Is it better to remove it from teh car to do this? I was going to wrap mine in carbon but thought i would remove it first.

The wrap doesn't damage the paintwork does it? Like not even 1%.. was a lot of pulling on and off.. and the knife at the end. Nice job though.. thinking of buying a new Golf Soon, getting it wrapped.. I'll see down the line if I get it.
+Avais Hussain ii the paint on the car is the original factory paint or its not damaged then it wont damage the paint, however if its been resprayed or there are cracks in the lacquer then there is a slight chance of the vinyl damaging the paint. The pulling you see on the video is just tickling the paint, 😂
