I really loved the unhoneymooners it’s one of my five star reads. I really enjoyed the aspect where it resolves everyone’s stories and not just the main characters. I get bored of books very easily so when they get together half way through the book and the rest is just them doing normal couple things I usually don’t end up finishing it. I loved that instead of fully focusing on them after they got together she went and focused on some other characters a little bit. Saved me from getting bored of the couple fast and I really liked the little plot twist!

Noo I absolutely *loved* the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo, especially the characters and story in general. It's one of my favourite books now... I can't believe how different our experiences were lmao I agree with the plot twist though, it was more of a shock than anything else. Didn't care for it much. Still gave it 5 stars tho ✋
If you want to care about TJR’s characters you gotta pick up daisy Jones and the six! That one is so character focused it just guts me every time I read it it’s so good!
It broke my heart you didn’t like Taylor Jenkins Reid’s writing :( but honestly that’s the joy of reading and critiques of writing! I also agree with you with Josh lol I also need to stop falling in love with the men in romance novels because then I have a hard time finding a guy like that irl! Lmao great critiques! I’m def subscribing.

@@lissyxx5460 I 100% recommend reading Verity but I will say it's main focus isn't romance. It does have a lot of smutty scenes and there is romance but that isn't the main story. Trigger warnings for sure though because a lot of fucked up things happen.
I agree about TJR - but if you ever get around to ‘maybe in another life’ I feel like it’s probably her best. Definitely my favourite out of her books ☺️

It’s so funny but I disagreed with all your thoughts this time around💀 I loved Evelyn Hugo and didn’t vibe with Heart Bones at all. I think it’s because I’m more of a plot oriented reader as opposed to a character one which you seem to be.
PLEASE read What Lies Between Us by John Marrs when you need a thriller!! It was so good I could not put it down because of how each chapter ends. You’ll love it!

I HATED One True Loves, but LOVED The Seven Husbands. If you ever try to read something of Taylor Jenkins Reid again, try Daisy Jones & The Six. It’s written in a totally different style and you get every single character’s perspective.
