Extras: 2024 Proton S70 - Ok, we have questions.....

We recently took the Proton S70 for a spin and while we generally thought it was a good car and a step forward for the brand, we found some things that just made no sense. Here's a few of these head-scratchers:

Automatic wiper tu sgt berguna kalo hujan x menentu. Kadang2 lebat.. kadang2 slow.

Driving Mode - Swipe je kat atas tu.
Indicator Driving mode - Ada di kanan paparan meter tu.
Boleh juga nak link kan driving mode dgn steering.
Sport mode akan lebih berat steering, comfort akan lebih ringan.

There is an indicator on the driver’s display. Right side above the P indicator. It turns red in sport mode

I own 2 honda and 2 Toyota. And I can say that you are right. The Japanese cars nowadays has more issues than the S70.

For me the most valid critics are the driving mode interface..its bloody hell annoying and inconvinience..others still can live with it

Came here from Facebook after a guy corrected the reviewer on how to change the driving mode. Simply swipe from the top to the bottom, the control center will be there. Carlist, make sure your reviewer does his homework and research before pressing the recording button. Focus less on the accent.

Hi Carlist saya orang Sabah sangat terkilan dan marah kepada Proton atas kesilapan mereka waktu pelancaran Proton e:MAS disebabkan label peta di Malaysia Timur (Sabah dan Sarawak) 😠 saya minta Proton janganlah buat silap lagi, jangan sampai rakyat Malaysia ni berpecah belah disebabkan hal ni 😠 aku minta maaflah kalau saya marah-marah 🙏🏻

Useless feature. How many % battery can u charge in 30mins travel to work?
Phone end up hot with 2% battery gain. Not worth it

Totally agree. I always plug in with USB. Later after 1 year my battery health drop like crazy.

boleh tu boleh tapi bang s70 tu, banyak benda control kat HU..kalau tukar tu banyak function hilang..maybe kena tunggu 2-3 tahun utk ada canbus yg support semua function s70

The fuel cap can be opened by anyone. From outside. That's not very smart isnt it. What if people just throw fire into my tank without me knowing. Disastrous.

If im not mistaken other brand mostly conti brand, fuel cap can be open from outside if the car is unlocked. If locked then cannot be open
