Great Eye Opener! But the things are changing with the time, I have insurance with a well known Indian company which has cashless process... and it hardly took 30 minutes. I hope NAVI has better offerings and claim management. The worst thing I see in the comments is, People are blindly following you... Which I feel you wouldn't recommend too... Eg: People have downloaded the NAVI app and asking you to suggest the best plan... That's crazy! @People - Its okay to follow a RUclipsr to understand any new concept, But its not Okay to blindly follow them and expect the mass spoon feeding.

Installed the app and at start they asks whom do you want to cover. And then a pop up comes like more than 2people can't be in included in a policy and this immediately forced me to uninstall the app immediately. As an individual if i opt for an insurance i would like my spouse and parents to be insured. A family is not about 2people ONLY. I guess, while there are so many new plans are evolving, people get stuck with existing ones, to avoid hassles of one more medical test, loss of no claim bonus, cooling off period in new policy for pre existing diseases etc. These are huge exit barriers. Insurance portability framework needs to evolve hugely to offer customers a choice.
It is important to figure out nitty gritties like how much is the room rent cap, any disease wise capping, deductibles, any scope for any medical checkup reimbursement , coverage of pre-exisiting diseases - these must be sorted out before you take the plunge
You are right, My father recovered from covid in may 2021 and we haven't got the reimbursement till now (September today) from so called HDFC ERGO health insurance. To shake of the topic we are told that some faults were found in paper work (Literally Every time ). I really liked that you guided others in a correct direction. Thanks

Hi Ankur, I took two policies recently and they made it clear that the auto-restoration feature only applies after your total sum insured is exhausted. In your example if 1L is remaining, it would not be restored until you have used it. Another thing about Navi, siblings can not be in a single policy. I took 2 policies hence, one for me and the other for my sister. P.S- Just some clarification not at all intention to point out cons Cheers!

Yes sir.... Recently My mother had a cataract surgery in Delhi best hospital which cost around ₹45k but when we submitted the paper to claim reimbursement we recvd only ₹25k.....
Navi is new in this segment so navi have limited coustomer so it's easy for navi right now...whenever they will gathered with lots of claim...then they will take time also...

Not Navi other insurance company too process in 1 hour. Main problem is hospital take longer time to reach document from floor to TPA desk of hospital .most delay is done by hospital

I know this is promotional video but as being a part of this industry I can say claim settlement is very objective process and it calim settlement time would be different in each case, then weather it is navi health insurance or any other company
I had a health insurance, icici Lombard done by my university. Post covid treatment I got a very easy claim process from their system. I had to upload the documents online in the app and also sent the original docs to the HQ. Money was transferred within 10 days. Same with SBI Life insurance. After my dad passed away due to covid, on an easy documentation process, I received the death claim very easily in 20 odd days.

No Ankur you are wrong, I am having a painfull process to get my preventive health checkup done which is included on the plan. The booking was cancelled twice citing non serviceable area,where I stay in bengaluru & Navi is also bengaluru based ,I could imagine what their tier 1 & tier 2 cx's are facing.

They still do not have options to declare and cover Pre-existing health conditions, a major reason under which many claims gets rejected.

Restored SI cannot be utilized for the remaining period for the same illness (applicable on same person).
