For long time, I have been an android user and completely happy with it. I am a corporate working professional, and I never felt the need to buy an iPhone just to look cool in the community whereas others around me are mad over it, I need storage space in my phone without having to subscribe to iCloud and my android serves my purpose. So, truly, identify what is your need and how it is getting fulfilled is very important. For those who understand it early and do not fall into the marketing trap of big brands, it's a blessing for them. You are making videos to create awareness amongst the youth which is very impressive as one need to be courageous in opening up their life in front of the world. Please continue to do so.
This video showed up at the best possible time. I have been thinking to buy an iPhone 16 Plus, not to show off but to take great pictures because I travel a lot. But somehow, deep inside me, a voice asks me constantly if I really need it since I already have a good samsung galaxy device with a pretty decent camera. What I need now is a bike, my dream bike. I will buy it next year but getting an iphone which I'll probably purchase with a 9-month Scheme is going to send me a few steps backwards. This video just opened my eyes and gave me a good realization. Thank you Ankur. Lots of love from Kolkata.
Hi Ankur Sir, I've started watching your videos lately. Now, I realise that I've been living my life in complete ignorance. Always ignored about investment, only thought about liabilities. However, now I know I would be able to make a difference as I understood very recently the importance of growing your money. Thanks a lot for sharing all your knowledge on this. Really touched by your videos.
I use iPhone XR since 2019. Changed the battery once from Apple service centre it works fine. I know I’m pretty back dated but somehow didn’t feel the need to upgrade the phone. For better pics I use my DSLR. My friends do make fun of me, but I know where I stand; I can buy 2 iphone 16s with my monthly disposable income i just choose not to 😅
If u can buy it twice with your monthly disposable income... i dont see a reason why you shouldnt upgrade to a better phone. The camera isnt the only difference between a 5 year old phone and new phone uk
from "what will I miss if i don't buy iPhone" to "what will I miss for buying iPhone" Great video. Me being an economics graduate could understand the pov very easily
My money mindset change after seeing this video Where should used your money I not earning now but it fundamental learning of my future rich life from this video on money it what actually used for experience and health and improvement your life and buy assets used for this Love you ankur warikoo uncle love you so much 💙💙💙💙💙

Great video...i was struggling to decide whether to buy iphone or an android phone but now after seeing this video I can see things clearly... thankyou..social cost hit me n i truly believe it
My Father also has the same mindset and he follows it unknowingly because whatever you said for him is a Common Sense 😅 Except the Opportunity Cost of FD which I made him realize and this happened beacuse of being Subscriber of this Channel.....Thank You Ankur Warikoo Sir!!
You really touched my heart, Warikoo sir, especially with your closing remarks. While watching your video, I kept thinking why I didn’t act on this back in 2000 when I graduated. My realization about the importance of money and investing only came now, at the age of 45. I never thought about it until I went through some very tough times, and that realization hurts more than anything else. It’s true, I spent money on unnecessary loans, but thankfully, I didn’t waste it on things like iPhones, as my earnings weren’t that high
Ankur my friend seriously I was spell bound from this video specially the end. I came not because I want to buy an Iphone or I have an Iphone. I just came to understand the mentality and the video is totally worth it. Hat's off Mannn!!!👏🏻
Thank you for such an awesome video. Just bought an iPhone 15 and came to your channel after a long time. It was needed but I realized I forgot what my true source of happiness was and will be. I forgot the goal in my life. Thanks for giving a hard reality check.
The matter is not what should I buy or not whenever I watch whatever your videos bcz I dnt watch all but after watching each video I think this is the best thing which I learn today thanks a lot.
Currently I can afford one Iphone16 base model or a Samsung Galaxy s24 base variant every month even after paying my rent. But I am still using my Realme 5 pro that I got on 2019. Probably I will change it next year when Galaxy S25 will launch.(Base variant, not the Ultra or Plus)
The conclusion was mindblowing. Shoutout to the cinematographer and editor as well. Very well made! That snippet is getting added to my list of insipring speeches!
I calculate according to my needs. I want my phone to improve my work or day to day life efficiency. Also I want my phone to earn money for me eg share market, RUclips, freelancing job etc. Generally I use a phone for 5 years. Recently I shifted from 15k redmi to 50k vivo v40 pro. The extra phones adds extra efficiency for me.
The best financial video i have ever seen till date. Thanks Ankur sir for really igniting the spark within me about the best use of money. The last 5 - 7 min of the video was really inspiring and motivating...

I really wonder how you think at this time of the world?? Not many people make this kind of content. I really need this kind of perspective in our life especially the younger generation.

Bought iPhone 15 pro max 1 TB in Flipkart big billion day sale for 1.30 lakh. 1 month ago same model costed 1.89 Lakh. No need of Apple Care+ as invested 2k in good tempered glass and rugged case
Bought a 18k Android moto that feels super premium in my hand. After 6 years of using a 10k phone. It didn't even cost me a week's salary to buy it. But i put 1.3Lacs if needed into stocks that has always yielded decent profit. Depreciation is what you would already feel if they release a next version of iPhone. No need Apple care, no need Apple phone. What do you do in iPhone that you can't do in an Android phone? In fact certain things I do in my mobile is not possible in iPhone. If something like a phone increases your worth by 2x, it means that you value yourself as much as a phone only. The people who try to use their skills to project their value than their house or bank balance deserve the respect.
@@CheckMater007 its recurring cost 749/ month for 2 TB they don't have 1 TB option only 50gb,200gb and 2tb. Plus on Flipkart difference in price between 512gb and 1 tb, 15 pro max was only around 6k. So decided to go with 1 TB.

You saved me Ankur! Although I don't need it but my brain kept telling me, go and buy S23 or iPhone 15 and stupid me cancelled my SIP and withdraw all the amount and was planning to buy one on this upcoming diwali sale but after watching this, I will re invest and won't buy until my current phones dies. Once again thanks!
Its not about waiting till your current phone dies, Just plan a buy something you like to use on functionality basis. Buy again a new phone of 28-30k its still gone last another 4 years easy.... But but spending 1 lakh on something we can get on low cost doesn't makes senses... Hope it helps
Just an observation, that 1cr / 40*365 = 685 rs per day, but if you take a loan for 30 years, you're paying a total of 2.82 cr which becomes 1939 rs per day... Love the concept, but a big calculation mistake here

That 10 sec before signing off. Such a real expression and how much you meant. Thank You for doing this for the community. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Whenever I gain an urge to buy a Flagship phone ... I play your video 🙂 successfully crossed this BBD also.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I will watch the video until diwali festival to control my urge to buy new phone 😂
Same 🤣
same thing happen last 2 yrs my friend buy s23 ultra and i am stop myself to buy flagship and till the date my money is grown in stocks around 42% abd i use my friends mobile phone for capturing something and my money safe till the date 😃😃
I was on the verge of buying an iphone 15 on EMI, and was kinda depressed because my monthly salary is 15K, later when i thought about it deeply, i figured out I don't even need a new phone and that my current phone is working almost perfectly. Dont let these companies fool you. 🫡
I love your every single words . Last 2 minutes was goosebumps. I'm 32 years age and from last 14 years I have grown a rich mind set like this. But listening to you is a pure treasure. One day I will definitely meet with you in personal. Love from Kolkata. ❤

Thanks sir 🙏
My friends do make fun of me, but I know where I stand; I can buy 2 iphone 16s with my monthly disposable income i just choose not to 😅
I feel you bro.. commenting from my same Iphone XR bought in 2019 BBD sale from Flipkart.! And still works like charm.!😘
If u can buy it twice with your monthly disposable income... i dont see a reason why you shouldnt upgrade to a better phone. The camera isnt the only difference between a 5 year old phone and new phone uk
@@rahulenork haha he would, only if he was telling the truth.
🎉
I am in same position , this iPhone obsession is with Indian youths is beyond imagination
Probably the best conclusion 🔥
from "what will I miss if i don't buy iPhone" to "what will I miss for buying iPhone" Great video. Me being an economics graduate could understand the pov very easily
Very good video 👌👌 I don't know why people criticize you.. You have explained very nicely the concept of cost analysis 👍
My money mindset change after seeing this video
Where should used your money
I not earning now but it fundamental learning of my future rich life from this video on money it what actually used for experience and health and improvement your life and buy assets used for this
Love you ankur warikoo uncle love you so much

Thank you Sir. 20:40 The moment when I realise myself that I am spending more on unnecessary things, your videos pops up on my RUclips. Best wishes, thank you for the advices, I have grasped a few.🙏🏼 Keep posting such stuff. Regards
Great video...i was struggling to decide whether to buy iphone or an android phone but now after seeing this video I can see things clearly... thankyou..social cost hit me n i truly believe it
I really appreciate this type of content on RUclips. I will rewatch it once again when I'm capable of buying something like an iPhone.
Logo ko mehnga phone chaiye .... Par zarurat nahi hai ....
Phones from 20k to 40k is enough and 50k should be Max
10k-15k is enough.
Depends on the usage of the person... What they like to use and how much...
My Father also has the same mindset and he follows it unknowingly because whatever you said for him is a Common Sense 😅
Except the Opportunity Cost of FD which I made him realize and this happened beacuse of being Subscriber of this Channel.....Thank You Ankur Warikoo Sir!!
CA aspirant here!, warikoo you basically explained many concepts from IAS - 16 Property, Plant and Equipment.
I don't have any money to buy I phone or Mac book but still I am watching your video and try to learn the cons of show off.
Great content about money saving which l haven’t seen ever, keep going really appreciate
Last 5 min of video was truly goosebumps.....thank u sir for changing my perspective to money❤️❤️
Conclusion hits more than whole video. Amazing video.

Trying to learn these principles-appreciate vs. depreciate. Thank you.
Two days back I bought iPhone 16 pro max..and after seeing this video...I am confused I shld have avoided it or ?
I changed my mind after watching this video. Nice work, sir!
The conclusion was mindblowing.
Shoutout to the cinematographer and editor as well. Very well made!
That snippet is getting added to my list of insipring speeches!
The best part of your content is that it's very relatable. Loved it
I have been using this same formula to buy phones since 2018. But not daily cost, I calculate monthly cost.

Hello ! Ankur Sir , You Are Making Amazing Videos On RUclips , Iam Appreciating You For That Your Work On RUclips , And Your Success Journey...
Ankur sir, namasthe
This is my first comment in my life for a RUclips content.
Nice content sir. LOVE YOU SIR
I like your content for
1. Your analysis of either a financial mistake or a financial plan is in a scientific way/terminology yet can be understood by anyone.
2. The genuine inner concern you have for the content viewers (we are definitely feeling sir).
Thank you very much sir for your work.❤
Thank you sir, clearly people are misinformed because I make about 16k in one month which is over 100x of my starting capital

You have a knack for communicating us, thoroughly grasping our thoughts and feelings.
Everyone in this generation needs to visit this video once every 3 months. Ankur Awesome man!.
I really wonder how you think at this time of the world?? Not many people make this kind of content. I really need this kind of perspective in our life especially the younger generation.
it comes from going deep into human psyche and self awareness
The most important factor (in my opinion) is the ostentatious nature of such high end items. Really useful video, Ankur!
28:00 touching line❤
This is epic, when atleast 1 percentage of kids understand this, fathers like us will be relieved of the pressure they give us to purchase these unnecessary things
Please don't add this type of background music
Its really hurt while watching 1.5x
I especially loved the concept of paying the cost of buying a new house per day. Genius ideology. Thank you Ankr ji...❤
@warikoo sir background music is disturbing while listening to you. I suggest you to remove the bg music or lower the volume. Thank you for your efforts.
REALITY Spoken ❤
Video starts from 10:00
Thank you.. Completely resonates with me.. just one correction on point 3.. house if bought I wud like to see the appreciation in x yrs not daily cost..
I was planning to buy iphone 16 , but now I think that I should buy S24 ultra. 😅
You're very cool bro.
Good decision
Ab ankur warikoo s24 ultra pr bhi video layenge 😂😂

Bought iPhone 15 pro max 1 TB in Flipkart big billion day sale for 1.30 lakh. 1 month ago same model costed 1.89 Lakh. No need of Apple Care+ as invested 2k in good tempered glass and rugged case
Why 1 TB, you could just get iCloud subscription, just curious?
@@subramaniantr2091 I have been using Android for 5+ years this is my first iPhone only reason to switch was because of convenience of Apple ecosystem. As I have mac air and airpods from my college days getting iPhone would make work more smoother as compared to Android. Buying an iPhone for showoff purpose is a big no, but for convenience of apple ecosystem then big yes.
@@subramaniantr2091 This is my first iPhone and I bought it just for the convenience of Apple Ecosystem as I already have mac and airpods. Buying iPhone on emi for showoff purpose just to flaunt that Apple logo is a big no but it helps make your work smoother then big yes that too on direct payment no emi.
iphone and android both are now almost 1L and why everyone speaks iphone alone costly ??
Sir aapko itna emotional kabhi nahi dekha kisi video me 👍🏻

For me, his video "resume of failure" is the most emotional one
Hi Ankur, I love your content and watch many of your videos. I studied nearby your alma mater in NGFS Alaknanda. I was hooked to this video of yours till 23 minutes. Then, you started telling how you use your iphone to make content. I would have used an SLR camera instead of iphone which is much more economical than iphone. Nonetheless, it's my opinion. U know better.
You saved me Ankur! I'm using OnePlus Nord which was launched in 2020 and I bought it for 28k and even after 4 years its still working perfectly fine but these hype and sales drove me crazy and pushed my brain to go for a new one.
Mind-blowing episode !! Gave me good information to lead a well balanced life. Thank you 👍
Just an observation, that 1cr / 40*365 = 685 rs per day, but if you take a loan for 30 years, you're paying a total of 2.82 cr which becomes 1939 rs per day... Love the concept, but a big calculation mistake here
Exactly, I just did the same calc and realised what I owe. However, great pov

I have an expensive motorcycle but not to show off, I smile everytime I ride it, I feel happy. That money is well spent for me. But I use an S20 FE still and have no plan to upgrade.
The biggest problem of Bharat is People here focusing more on to look rich rather than becoming Rich, this trend started from Bollywood and nowadays there is not big difference between 20k and 100k earning person both using same iphone the difference is only one for their work & other to showoff
Very true
