McDonald’s is not in the burger business, they are an international real estate holdings business. Matt is not in the resort business, he’s in the RUclips business with 5m followers and growing. And he’s very good at it. Knowing how difficult it is for very experienced, highly financed resort companies to survive long term, this is not likely to turn into a successful enterprise. It WILL be very profitable for Matt however - it’s a loss leader for future growth.

I'm really hoping you can keep the shell of the burned out stone building and turn it into a wedding/party venue. It feels and looks like the ruins of an old Texas fort like the Alamo. Clear out the debris, take down a few of the less stable walls, and plant grass (or sod) and set up a little platform for the ceremony and it would be an absolutely insane outdoor wedding venue. And the best part is you could easily have it ready to go by the time you re-open because it would only really involve demolition, not construction. Although you could put up a few beams to help define the space and stabilize some of the old walls. I would kill to have a wedding there once it's all finished!

And it would be awesome to watch. Hell if I lived closer and had the equipment, I would (with permission) already be started cleaning the place up.
