Huh, I uses skis to drift, that in combination with lots of tail fins. Never thought of gyros.

I'm not sure if you know, but you can BAN blocks in server by right clicking them in builder menu
This way you can prevent zero glitch vehicles using detachable blocks,
you can also ban hover pads and thrusters...
take corners more optimal:
slow down to the speed you want to have for the corner BEFORE steering into it
drive into it from the outside line and come as close as possible to the inside of the lane at the "peak" of the corner
as soon as your front wheels are straight again accelerate
better to brake than lift in most cases:
better rotation
better exit
more control
Nice F1 race! Always cool to see people using the new pieces of the update/dlc
Tip number one: Stop lookking behind you.
Tip number two always position yourself for the fastest line through the next corner. Which may not be the most obvious line.
Tip number three: Get Good

He absolutely needs to take wider turns. His steering angle isn't sharp and his engine is powerful. He can't afford to try and handle this like a technical racer

I was watching Yuzei racing on this new map and in a half of video I realised i was the update already, not early access... 😂
So I updated the game an played like 2 hours just racing with other people. That was so much fun...
And then i watched the second half of Yzuei's video

I don't know how your car was built, but maybe changing the angle/speed/steering help on your hinges could help. You may also need more downforce in the front. Of course, the heavier you are, the worse you will corner on flat ground. You'd be better off redistributing the weight you have rather than adding extra to the front if possible.
You should do more of this cause this seems very very fun

high in low out one tip is looking on skiers or f1 drivers lines when they race they are really similar to each other
Any time I watch yzuei it motivates me to build something in Trailmakers lol
I'd recommend you to use the propeller block in your vehicle to give you constant downforce (sharper turns) - for me it works pretty good

If you want to have better turning you should not put the weight in the front.
it gives better traction (bc TM is always all wheel drive) but when you brake and turn the weight is making your car understeer.
It's better not to use extra weight obviously, but if you need it to help steering put the weights just behind the middle of the car.
You can configure the engines to only output to the wheels of your choice.

in that case i would put an extra engine to give the front only a tiny bit of torque.
with cars that powerful rear wheel drive is better.

Why would having more weight in the front induce understeer? Is that just a quirk of trailmaker physics?
I thought more weight/downforce in front = more grip on front tires = less grip on rear tires = oversteer.
Nice racing, now imagine everyone had EMPs and could sabotage each other, either lots of fun or really frustating...

Trailmakers is included in XBox Cloud gaming. I just recently started playing. I need new batteries for my controller but I can play effectively on my phone with good wifi.

You need to take corners wider and tap the brakes going into the corner and boost out of the corner
The supercar spoiler gives more downforce, try using that one instead of the large spoiler which has a tendency to spin out

If you make the outer wheel turn sharper, you might be able to corner better

I have a formula 1 car that only goes 200kmh on drag races and like 180 on normal races but it also only has 10 PCs and weighs 200kg
So it weighs pretty much nothing and has a ton of downforce so it can even drive upside down in a tunnel
yzuei your car understears in the corners, try removing weight from the front and it might help

Has no one wanted to do a "Death Race 2000" event. With the new update consisting of better collision physics and new car pieces , a "death race" would be perfect. Reference to the Jason Stathen movie ... or if old school , the one with David Carridine and Sylvester Stallone. No rockets , missiles or energy shields ... only melee and guns/blasters.

use an accumalator and sharpen your turn rate but not too much because you will spin out
Try turning down the Steuerung assist in the hinges and Drive in fpv

You can't change gravity on Race Island
brake before a turn, not during. You can accelerate after you've made it half way through the turn.
