Try next time do a dogfight of every era style from:
WW1 (1914-1918)
WW2 (1939-1945)
cold war (1947-1991)
modern times (1991-2024)
and last
scifi stuff (2024 and beyond)

But put less weapons and all make a plane each. so every era has a plane made by a single person
There are so many dogfighters terrified of gyros, but the majority of them use 0-drag and 20 blasters. Make it make sense.
Everyone who says gyros are op uses 6 smart cannons max. And z drag is used to make the plane fly better or not at 200 mph.
This is why i have different levels of dog fighters and i try to make them era appropriate.
My WW2 era stuff is 2 bomb bays + custom bombs as well as 3 smart cannons or 2 miniguns. Only gyro dampening (Unless a control is bad like roll but i try to make it realistic)
My modern day is just my excuse for more powerful bombs, more hidden guns, etc. My A10 has 2 miniguns and 4 smart cannons with 2 rockets and 2 custom bombs that i can swap out for torpedos. Gyros have some controls but the plane will still go down without its tail/wings
Then i have the fuck it we ball where i remove all my rules and set gyros to 10 with like 8 blasters.
Space ships are mostly used as technical challenges for me with mode switches and more complex logic but i often remove my restrictions for it.
I put two lasers in my 700 comp builds i dont wanna hear it, cuz all the people i battle have gyros, 6 blasters, and 4 rockets
@@ThatGamerPilot I mean yeah use the same level as them. I think the fun of dogfighting comes from having challenge so personally i don’t like full gyro things. hence why i play with friends and we put the restrictions on herself.
sometimes when plane is litelarry one big hinge/piston glitch it sadly needs but im trying to avoid building planes like this because they suck. they only looks good

For future reference the point at which two planes meet to dogfight is known as the merge, nobody is supposed to fire until then once both parties are committed to the merge. There are two types of dogfighting, the 2 circle in which the planes are going the same direction about the circle (planes like the F16 exel here), and the 1 circle, in which the planes go in opposite directions to try and get inside the opponents line of travel and get behind them(planes such as the F22 exel here).
You should use more hinge glitches, especially on the cockpit, nose and tail

Did you know that lowering your landing gear mid fight is how you surrender?
I know most of you all have builds like these, but I love seeing iconic planes battling. Something like the Su-57 Felon VS the F/A-22 Raptor type 1v1 but not really those per say. Maby like a Mig-29 Fulcrum vs the F-16 Falcon?

9:10 just like the real Su-25, it can fly without it's tail. In the real plane, it's difficult but doable.
Interesting, the f-4 phantom was plane whose biggest weakness was the inability to dog fight.
Can you do a dog fight but you have 1 dynamite in your plane?

amazing story, could not believe the detail in those words of yours, the backstory to the characters was just incredible. the part where you said “beans” was absolutely wild, best part of the story right there and the other part where you said “beans” was incredible as well, the depth to this story was peak, the main character versus the villain fight was just amazing to imagine in my head.

Could you do a draft battle with a bunch of planes from challenges. You pick a plane each round to fight from a dwindling pool and the whoever loses gets first pick next.

im kind of rustled that you chose an SU-25 as your fighter jet (The SU-25 is a ground attack aircraft, not a jet aircraft made to dogfight, it can carry missiles, but the turning rate irl is... not the best... its also not fast (below speed of sound unlike what your friend made (F4 Phantom) Which realistically can i think go Mach 2))
