A good tip I found for P-Ranking levels is taunting midair to either stall out an obstacle or readjust your movement. Taunting isn’t just for parrying after all. Also I suggest trying to P-Rank bosses next. It’s a lot less nerve wracking trust me.
Remember to use super taunts! (super taunts are active after getting a high combo and it gives you electric particles so you know its available.) Be sure to grab crouch to gain instant mach 1. (grab and then crouch after while holding shift stop holding the crouch key to gain the speed.) Your combo number does not matter you just need to beat it with a constant combo. The Toppins are super important because they give 1000 score which is a lot. Toppings with a G give less but you don't have to collect them all some of the toppins can also be skipped but it may cost the run. Upper cutting is also super important because it serves as a double jump. Almost doing anything except for breaking blocks refills your combo meter.
A few tips: - you can do a bodyslam while running, in the air while running, press down then the jump button. It can save you some time -You can immediately run at mach 3 (the speed where you can break metal block and everything) if you press grab+down and starts running. It's really useful to quickly gain speed. -In case you don't know you can recover combo time by : killing an enemy(john the pillar counts) taking everything that gives score (some are exclusive to their level like the ice block in the ice level), entering the lap 2 portal, killing a stupid rat (actual name) and by saving a topping. So I recommend you save them, they can save your attempt sometimes. -I case you also don't know this one, you can break the timer thing in war by running into them, so don't lose time try to shoot them (the only one you'll need to shoot so you don't lose time is the one near Gerome) -you can take some shortcuts during lap 2 bc the blocks and stupid rats you destroy don't respawn. For example there's one during Ancient cheese you can climb a wall somewhere where you need to kill a stupid with a bomb, since it doesn't respawn to block the way you don't need to go take the bomb again, but this one is a little tricky so good luck -Finally I recommend you watch P rank videos like Crayola's video, they can really help understanding a few things to go faster in certain level

It is recommended because in order to P-rank something, you need a combo of around 85 and an S-rank score(14,000-15,000). 5. Don't run in the 1st secret. 6. Try memorizing the first few rooms. It'll help you when trying to quickly run through. 7. If you grab then press jump, you will do a long jump. It is VERY annoying because when you aren't running, you will simply turn at mach 1. 8. SUPER TAUNT TO KEEP YOUR COMBO (C+Up). That's information from a guy who 101% pt Ok that's it. bye

So, to be CLEAR: All toppings. All Secrets. Treasure. 2nd Lap, AND never break your combo. That is P rank in a stage. No damage vs Boss is P rank. Really, it takes patience and planning for a P rank. Once you understand the timing and flow of a level, you'll get it down. As for combos, they can go past 150 in P rank runs.
Yeah. Combos can actually go past 5000, surprisingly. I figured this out by playing the cheese gutter mod. (John Gutter but flooded with cheeseslimes.)
Whenever ur about to lose your combo, make sure to super taunt (up plus taunt) if you don’t remember, that’s the attack that kills all enemies on the screen and it contributes to your combo. Also, if you ever miss any secrets or the treasure in pizza time, just go back for it in lap 2. Don’t backtrack EVER. Also, P ranking John gutter, doesn’t exactly make the other levels easier. It only took me one day to p rank John gutter, but it took me three days in a lot of time to p rank pizzascape.
after p ranking every level, here are some tips i can give you 1: USE SUPER TAUNTS!! it's used to wipe out every enemy on screen and reloads your combo if there are enemies on screen (sometimes it misses the ones on the side) 2: floor 4 will be hell for you (especially peppibot factory and oh sh🐔t) so don't give up cause you can't do it, this applies for every level too 3: pressing grab then down instantly sets you to mach 3 so do it more often 4: you sometimes have to take things slow, oregano desert is a good example with the totems despawning and peppibot factory with the speed pads on the conveyor belts during the part in the 3rd room with 4 thunderclouds you have to wait a bit for them to despawn so it doesnt mess you up on pizza time or lap 2 and use the enemies nearby to keep a combo for peppibot factory, just take it slow on the conveyor belts with dash pads sending you to the opposite direction, points are sufficient enough do where you can keep your combo
a small tip for p-ranking in combos if you are screwed in combos,try super taunting,it will recover the meter and look out for any source of points,they refresh the combo meter
Some tips that could be helpful would be - Doing a slide then exiting the slide to get immediately to mach-3 (to do a slide it is your attack button then your crouch or down button). - Doing a spinny ground pound thing, its a ground pound that unlike the normal one, doesn't delay you (to do it you have to sprint, do a dive, then press the jump button

also, yet another thing i'd recommend doing is not instantly restarting if you mess up at one point, unless you know for a fact that your combo isn't gonna live, sometimes there's just barely enough time to get to some points that will replenish your combo meter example: my p-rank of gnome forest was done while i fell in the third secret at the end, i thought my combo was dead, but i ran up fast enough to be able to get a big boi point, so i'd definitely consider not ending it until the combo's gone
The levels I'd fear most when it comes to P-ranking are PizzaScare (floor 5 variant), Don't Make A Sound, and Oregano Desert (Which was almost impossible for me for some reason). Edit: WAR could be surprisingly easy. While the timer isn't exactly forgiving, the amount of enemies definetly is. The fact that the "secrets" aren't hidden makes it much easier. Just run as fast as you can and pray you can do it. (Don't get me wrong, I still struggle here and there, I'm just saying.) NOTE: When going for the DMAS P rank, in the room with the first toppin monster, there are electric tiles on the floor. When you go to the door to activate the chase sequence, go backwards to aforementioned tiles. The animatronic will fall through, and you'll access a secret room with an eye portal. Edit 2: WAR is actually easy, you just need to manage time, and also kill the stupid pizza tanks, because they can easily ruin your run.

heya, thought i'd give a lil tip if you find two enemies in a place you come back to in pizza time, i'd reccommend killing one enemy and leave the other for later, just so you don't have to have unnecessary combo complications when returning to that area if john doesn't spawn any enemies but if you don't return to that area, have at it and also, with some secrets, speed isn't always key, sometimes you kinda have to go slow, particularly the the third secret in gnome forest

I have been trying to get the p rank for so long but a while ago I just gave up but thanks to you and this video and all the other pizza tower videos I p ranked pepper man beat the game with a 64 percent and got the s than p for John gutter so thanks a lot for giving me all this motivation to push through persist and practice I only wish the best for you
watching you p rank the bosses would be nice (if that isn't too much torture to you). some bosses are pretty fun to p rank and just overall really satisfying if you beat them but i understand if you don't want to (they're also easier to do than p ranking the normal levels i think as you just need to figure out how to counter all the attacks then keep doing it until one attempt you just get it.) i may put some tips for the pepper man and noise as those are the only bosses i actually p ranked but idk
one useful tip for p ranking is if something is only accessible during pizza time and you miss it try not to lose combo over going back just wait till lap 2 and if you miss it again then restart. this counts for secrets as well as the tower treasure or sometimes even jerome
A simple trick that you can learn is a grab cancel where you grab and then immediately press the opposite direction to cancel the grab. This can help with slowing down or falling faster.
The best tip ever: go to the pizza tower steam page press the settings of the game, then press propertys, then it will bring you a screen of the property button, theres a type bar, in that bar type in "-debug" once -debug is in, go out and open pizza tower, go in the tower and when your in press F5 it will show a typing thing above, just put one single space and it will show the things you can do with it.

anything that adds to your combo actually contributes to your score so id recommend killing enemies as much as you can just to help as a little boost for S-rank also even if getting the toppins isnt needed for a P-rank, id still recommend to get them since each toppin is 1000 points which will also help getting to the S-rank mark

There actually is a secret achievement about getting all P ranks on a floor that space to the left of the S rank achievement it’s just you can’t see it intill you P rank all levels on the floor and if you P rank all levels in the game you get a outfit called tv purple
Hey, Bijuu, you don't need a good combo throughout the whole time while getting a P-Rank I recommend that you'd get a good combo only when you start the music: The Death That I Deservioli (Lap 2) also I agree with some other people and you should P-Rank the bosses next because its not as hard as actual levels and it is way more calming. Just don't get hit I tell ya. (I'm saying don't get hit because fake peppino and the last boss are the hardest bosses to defeat). Also if you didn't think you could P-Rank don't make a sound and W A R +_+ you can anyway have a nice day trying to P-Rank the whole tower :troll: (also don't forget to taunt at the end)

For the secrets- try doing them as what they are intended to be cleared, as if it's clearly says that you wall climb, you need to wall climb- but if you do excessive things like a power jump- it's going to be a hit or a miss.
It is very funny to watch the strategies other players come up with. He parries more Forknights and better than me but he also does a lot of slow grab dashes and has weird routing choices.
Mike also uh the food points gerome and stuff give you combo points so you don’t gotta speed through secrets just gotta get the foods and you kinda need toppings cause you need an s rank so just think like it’s an s rank but you never drop a combo
also, you don't need to kill all the "evildoers" considering that the combo awards no points until it ends, like i believe one could p-rank a level killing only the cheeseslime in the first room and pillar john
If you get a 101 percent to complete the whole game I will be very impressed Yes there's a 101 percent completion for this game needing a p rank for all levels and bosses and getting all 72 achievents for the game for each level there's 3 in each level
Hey mike there 101% if you wanna get everything also in p ranks you only need to have All secrets not do them in the run also in lap 2 focus on speed and points breaking bricks keeps ur combo up and so points also stay focused on p ranking 1 floor atleast
if you go fast enough by doing instant mach 3 using the grab + down maneuver and hold shift and stop doing the grab + down maneuver you can go instan mach 3 keep ahead of tha k it might be useful
Did you knew you cloud actualy play as a noise wtihout mods to do that o steam page of a game properties type -debug then enter the game when the cuctscene plays press F5 and type this command: player_room characterselect A close the menu skip cuctscene and in the menu of the game open menu and press enter select noise (if it's red change the costume to sage blue)

there's no penalty for missing some small toppings or enemies, it's just that you want as much as you can since you need a high score
Tip: When the purple orange flame hits the end of the combo bar, You lose your combo, Don’t lose combo or else megamind will be like “No combo?”

if you find two enemies in a place you come back to in pizza time, i'd reccommend killing one enemy and leave the other for later, just so you don't have to have unnecessary combo complications when returning to that area if john doesn't spawn any enemies
but if you don't return to that area, have at it
and also, with some secrets, speed isn't always key, sometimes you kinda have to go slow, particularly the the third secret in gnome forest

watching you p rank the bosses would be nice (if that isn't too much torture to you).
some bosses are pretty fun to p rank and just overall really satisfying if you beat them but i understand if you don't want to (they're also easier to do than p ranking the normal levels i think as you just need to figure out how to counter all the attacks then keep doing it until one attempt you just get it.)
i may put some tips for the pepper man and noise as those are the only bosses i actually p ranked but idk

one useful tip for p ranking is if something is only accessible during pizza time and you miss it try not to lose combo over going back just wait till lap 2 and if you miss it again then restart. this counts for secrets as well as the tower treasure or sometimes even jerome

A simple trick that you can learn is a grab cancel where you grab and then immediately press the opposite direction to cancel the grab. This can help with slowing down or falling faster.

The best tip ever: go to the pizza tower steam page press the settings of the game, then press propertys, then it will bring you a screen of the property button, theres a type bar, in that bar type in "-debug" once -debug is in, go out and open pizza tower, go in the tower and when your in press F5 it will show a typing thing above, just put one single space and it will show the things you can do with it.

there IS an achievement for p-ranks, you unlock it after getting every one in each world. when you get ALL p-ranks you unlock some clothing
Fact: You can see behind the combo bar that there is a little plush-like guy with a half orange and half purple face. The closer he gets to the left shows you how close you are to losing your combo
There trick that you found in floor five, granny pizza (that she name) say "kiss my butt" actually that was trick so while running press repeatly down+jump or jump+down+jump to quickly butt Slam
Tip: press walk key and taunt key at the same time to super taunt. A super taunt will kill all the enemies in your screen. only try when there is lightning on peppino.
anything that adds to your combo actually contributes to your score so id recommend killing enemies as much as you can just to help as a little boost for S-rank
also even if getting the toppins isnt needed for a P-rank, id still recommend to get them since each toppin is 1000 points which will also help getting to the S-rank mark

An easy level to p rank is War, trust me. All the secrets are in your face including Gerome and the Gerome door.

There actually is a secret achievement about getting all P ranks on a floor that space to the left of the S rank achievement it’s just you can’t see it intill you P rank all levels on the floor and if you P rank all levels in the game you get a outfit called tv purple

Hey, Bijuu, you don't need a good combo throughout the whole time while getting a P-Rank I recommend that you'd get a good combo only when you start the music: The Death That I Deservioli (Lap 2) also I agree with some other people and you should P-Rank the bosses next because its not as hard as actual levels and it is way more calming. Just don't get hit I tell ya. (I'm saying don't get hit because fake peppino and the last boss are the hardest bosses to defeat). Also if you didn't think you could P-Rank don't make a sound and W A R +_+ you can anyway have a nice day trying to P-Rank the whole tower :troll: (also don't forget to taunt at the end)
If you get all secrets in every level, a secret eye will pop up in every hub world, so I’m not gonna tell you what’s inside it, its a secret!
Tips: you can hold shift for run and then grab + duck. And then realease the duck so you can get mach 3

Hey, When it said The Crumbling Tower of Pizza had no secrets, treasure, and lap 2, you only need the score to 5500 (probably)
For the secrets- try doing them as what they are intended to be cleared, as if it's clearly says that you wall climb, you need to wall climb- but if you do excessive things like a power jump- it's going to be a hit or a miss.
When you find John Gutter and have to escape all the timer does is wake the pizza face and chases u fast. Hope this helps!

The most important thing about P ranks is keeping your momentum for as long as you can. People left a lot of movement tips in the comments there.
Mike also uh the food points gerome and stuff give you combo points so you don’t gotta speed through secrets just gotta get the foods and you kinda need toppings cause you need an s rank so just think like it’s an s rank but you never drop a combo
also, you don't need to kill all the "evildoers" considering that the combo awards no points until it ends, like i believe one could p-rank a level killing only the cheeseslime in the first room and pillar john

A tip for moving faster is dashing then holding down and the run button for instant mach 2
Hey mike there 101% if you wanna get everything also in p ranks you only need to have All secrets not do them in the run also in lap 2 focus on speed and points breaking bricks keeps ur combo up and so points also stay focused on p ranking 1 floor atleast
Tip:you actually need to go REALLY FAST for first lap because the more time you have for lap 2 the more easier it is

As someone who strugles to get a good rank in Sonic Unleashed, I say that this was sam hill for you
tip if you didnt know if you dash and then crawl you will slide making you gain full speed instantly
if you go fast enough by doing instant mach 3 using the grab + down maneuver and hold shift and stop doing the grab + down maneuver you can go instan mach 3 keep ahead of tha k it might be useful
