UPDATE: We now have Full-Size Router Sled Kits available on our website. It's a very similar setup as this Trim Router version, BUT meant to be used with 20mm bearings and rails to support the added weight of the router.
ADDITIONALLY, we are now including the Shaft Collars when you purchase any of the Essentials Kits (Trim Router or Full-Size version).

Fantastic kit. I highly recommend the essentials kit. I had it up and running in 30 minutes, and that's only because I'm slow!

Fantastic video! Great upgrade! I was planning to make something to align the rods, rather than measuring with a tape measure. It's nice to see you thought of making the mounting plates a single piece of acrylic that functions as an alignment tool during assembly. Nicely done! I was planning to buy all the needed parts to make my own router sled, but your kits look sooooo nice, I'm going to order your essentials kit instead. Thanks!

Good stuff! I have the upgrade version and I'm putting it together now. My issue is the holes in the new long mounting plate do not align with the holes in the rail bearings? I can send a pic if you like. I have the essential kit for the Makita RT0701C.

Are the holes on all bearings etc the same so that they match up with your parts?
Would you sell just the three acrylic pieces separately? Does the blank router plate have the pre drilled holes for the bearings?

Just another thought, Amazon has hundreds of vendors to buy the rods and rails. The question is, what vendor do you recommend buying the rods and rails? Or can you do that? thanks

I have ordered from Mssoomm and Vevor. No issues with their parts...at least the rails I have received.
Love the product, with one drawback, I'd rather use a Bosch 1617 router. Too bad you don't have a baseplate for that. Otherwise I would be buying this set up.

What area is covered in the Essentials Kit, and do you supply the router base?

Hi Kevin, how long are rods (not rails) in this case and what is active length of router movement in the direction of rods? So, what is the widest board you can machined on that jig? If I buy 1m long rods what I can expect? Thanks!

I have a Ridgid 2401 but your router list shows 24012. Is there a difference between the two or do I need to make my router plate? Enjoy your videos.
It will fit the 2401. Ridgid (and other brands) will add a number or letters if it's part of a set or comes with some type of accessory. But it's the same router.

Can a person buy parts ? or just the kits ?
We sell the whole kits, but we do offer some parts like the handles, which are great for jigs.
