You can add shortcut to the template folder on the home ribbon but not to the template.

You can make VBA code to open the message and then you can assign that code to a button and add that button to your Quick Access Toolbar in Outlook. I use it all the time. I have 25 monthly emails I send out using templates and it opens all those messages for me at once.

Sure, just save it to the desktop when you save it in the template file extension, then to open and use it each time, just double click its icon on your desktop.

@@johnbrandt2167 You can also drag and drop the saved file over your Outlook icon on the task bar. This will pin the file. To access it, you right-click on your Outlook icon on the taskbar when open and the pinned file will be available to select from there.

You can make a shortcut to your templates folder on your desktop. Mine is located here... C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates and then you can open the folder and double click any of the templates to open. Click "save' on an open template and it will save it in your drafts folder until you are ready to send. The only issue I have is that my templates "expire' and I can't save them to draft for very long (they disappear).
