  • Welcome Aboard to the Toyota 4Runner SR5. This is TRULY one of the last old school SUV's. At $44K, the SR5 does come in at a higher price point, but you get some nice features like a power driver's seat, blind spot indicator, one touch windows, and a household power outlet! With the 4.0L V6, you get all of the old school reliability with all of the new school tech! In my opinion, this is truly the best of both. That's just the tip of the iceberg; this 4Runner also has 4WD with a 2-Speed Transfer Case and Active Traction Control where the vehicle will detect lost traction in more challenging situations in 4-Lo! If you're looking for an SUV that will outlast the planet, the 4Runner is one of the best options out there!

    Got the 2022 sr5 premium 4x4. I agree the sr5 is the model to get, but I would make sure it is 4x4 and get the sr5 premium package as well. It’s not much more money and it makes a big difference to the comfort and feel. I bought it for life so I wanted to spec it to keep it for 20 years and the premium package gets you softex heated seats and all led lights and optional sun roof plus blind spot monitoring. It makes a big difference and makes it feel like you’re not missing anything from any other car. Ide say that’s the way to go if you wanna keep it for a while

      You paid almost $5k more for those. Mine was $39K MSRP.

    I have Camry 2018 LA but my dream car and the only thing that I want to upgrade to right now is not even the Highlander. I want to go straight up to the foreigner. I know it’s gonna be so much gas spent on it because I hear here and there this thing is a gas guzzler, but I just cannot get rid of my mind of how beautiful it is and how design it is and how rugged it is and I love to have that feeling every day of V6 with 4 L . And to do this move because my main job is transportation and I do Oring so it would be a bummer for me to do Oring in a runner but in the same time I want this car to stay with me for 10 15 or 20 years .I still see the second .
    generation and the first generation on the roads today in Texas . It’s really tough when you have so many options even when your options only Toyota.

    The trd off road is better only because it has a manual transfer case that Toyota has been using for 30 years and it’s bullet proof. And it doesn’t have all the extra tech you don’t need on a trd pro.

      Body on frame SUV’s are better suited for Truck stuff. The limited and sr5 trims are more for on road use but you aren’t going to get a better ride out of body on frame.
      If your want a better ride get unibody, if you want more capability get body on frame.
      The trd off-road trim is geared around more what this suv is capable of and its strengths.

    It's true that the 4Runner has terrible gas mileage but trust me you will spend less money for gas over the years than repair since it's a very reliable/dependable SUV.

      If thats your complaint than the 4runner isnt for you. Nobody buys a 4runner for its mileage. If it stands the test of time thats all that matter in a world full of cars that breakdown and have tons of recalls.

    Bought one for 33k in 2018, recently sold it for a 2024 cx5 turbo premium, and haven't looked back since. There is no way I would pay the base model, gas-guzzling 14 yr old platform for over 45k. They are overrated.

    • @alimirzaei2075

      4Runner is designed to go off road and is a truck. Of course it is not as refined as fuel efficient as a crossover like a cx5. You can’t compare them. The 4Runner is not the most comfortable suv, not the most efficient, but is one of the most off road capable and reliable.

    • @Rocc1994
      @Rocc1994 5 месяцев назад

      @@alimirzaei2075Most people who buy this truck never take theirs to the rock crawling .. they buy it just for the looks. And as far as reliability, I can tell you from my own experience that any japanese brand will last long, especially the first ten years will be problem free. 4runner might be reliable but you will spend ridiculous amount of money on gas and higher insurance premium every month. Not to mention ridiculously high markups on brand new 4runners. I've seen trd pro going for 57k, and people are drooling over it. Imagine having 800 car note for 7 years and have to fill it up 100 dollars every week. This car has 20 gallon gas tank and gas price is almost 5 dollars a gallon where i live.

      The only thing this has is reliability. It's way behind the pack on everything else. My Brother has a 23 ORP and the nose dive when braking is insane. I do have a lot of respect for it though. The rear window that rolls down is amazing and it just feels strong and well built overall

    • @4runner510

      Probably the best SUV out there, and if you drive it like it's meant to be driven there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. If you come from a car I can understand or an overpriced pickup again understandable
