That GS at the end is magnificent
Grail watch for sure
I suggested this video awhile back and you delivered way more than I thought possible. I learned about more than I expected. Bravo.
I'm glad to do so. Thanks for the great suggestion, my friend. Any other vids you'd like to see?
Bro said 10 and started at 8
The 8.1 and 8.2 makes it 10
@@GushhMontage technically he listed 9.
He started at 8, Mechanical, then listed 2 movements; hand-wound and automatic. so, hand-wound mechanical + automatic mechanical; then 7 after. 9
The smoothest sweep possible is Spring Drive, because it literally does not tick! It is moving forward constantly but is being "braked" by an electromagnetic force generated by the escapement.
There's also the Bulova Accutron movement that used a magnetic tuning fork
Are solar powered and eco drives, just quartz movement that are powered differently, instead of just using a normal battery ??
Great content. 💯✅
What about Accutron?
all the watches on this list aside of the first two are just different types of quartz movements though
Loving your content. Please share where you got the strap on the Seagull!
What was that first mecha quartz watch you showed? I loved the colors on it!
It's the Islander DPA Chronograph, ref ISL-220
Lest we forget Electronic/Swissonic watches
Hey Chronocheck, what is that strap you have on that Seagull? It’s fantastic
Ver y well explained.!
Could you share where you got that bracelet for the Casio duro from?
Yup! It's from Long Island Watches
@@ChronometerCheck thanks!
Which bulova model is that?
Tuning fork movements?
Tourbillon
A tourbillon is not a movement. It's a complication, and is mostly just for show. It's something complex just for the sake of complexity.
If I'm not mistaken, Seiko Elnix back in the day uses something called electronic movement. I thought it was the same as quartz but realized it has balance wheel. Can any one help to explain it better?
A mecaquartz maybe?
Timex also
it' s a type of movement where the rotating motion is delivered electrically instead of by a spring but the actual regulation of the timekeeping is still done via balance wheel. this is a very interesting kind of movement that was used also in hamiltons ( ventura i think ) and some soviet watches like the slava electric. it never gained much populatity because it is more fragile than a mechanical movement, not much more accurate and requires battery changes quite often
should it be "type of powered"?
In reference to the title?
Impressive bro
Quick question what do you think of kolber geneve?
Can u make a video on ae1200
Mechanical watches especially expensive automatic watches are overrated
hadnt subbed yet wtf.
sowy
❤
Bulova has so many potential that it might kill Mechanical watches the second time around. Too bad the watches are mostly awful looking monstrosity.
