If you had told me when I woke up this morning that at some point during the day I’d hear a grown man say, “I’m not afraid of beavers” Hear shrills from the same fellow as he’s being chased by a beaver and then hear him say, “ that’s an angry beaver” I surely would have not believed you.
This guy is great. I’ve watched a couple of his other videos. I’m not entirely sure why I’m so entertained. 😄

Throw in a love for the outdoors ,an energizer bunny work ethic, an admiration for the beavers skills, and you have a guy that is passionate about his work. I also like his editing style that keeps his video quiet especially when he is at the clog doing his thing. Even when you are menaced by a beaver and you let out some "wwo wooo", I like your style.

15:15 For filming "in water" you need a polarizing filter. This will eliminate reflections. I just don't know if that is available for your camera. But if it is, reflection of light can be (almost) eliminated when filming smooth surfaces like water, metal, glass. That will give you awesome under water footage from above the water.

I wasn’t scared of beavers either until I saw one on the road and chased him down. I’m way faster than a beaver on land. When the beaver realized this he turned and smacked his tail on the ground, spazzed at me and hissed at me. We stood in a stand off for a bit, and when I moved toward him once more to coax him off the road, he chased me, and I realized he would not hesitate to cut through my bones with his tree-felling teeth in order to defend himself. I got the heck out of there!
No shame in being scared of a beaver, especially since this one was in water and therefore faster than you!

I hugely admire beaver. When we lived up in Central Oregon, on the banks of the Deschutes River, I used to get up particularly early to watch the beaver swim, carrying twigs and what have you, to repair their lodge on a tiny island. They are industrious, smart, and if they'd been left alone rather than hunted to near extinction back in the 1800s, we wouldn't have had the flooding problems that we encounter now. Nature's way is the best way, and beaver were put here by Nature for a beautiful and perfect reason.

I didn't regard "angry beavers" seriously until this summer. I help to maintain a public park in my town. A beaver had decided to reside in a small pond (basically a large puddle). Early this summer a man was walking his dog (a Great Pyrenees). The dog is friendly but curious. He decided to investigate the beaver. The beaver attacked and bit the dog. The dog had to have his wounds stitched and a drain inserted. So beavers can be vicious when they're provoked.
